"Listen, Cia, at the mall, don't get away from me!! You should always be with me. Don't make a fuss, don't steal, don't say strange things about demons or hell, don't let you pull out your fireball and burn anything. You can't take your hat off either!!" The cry of Legolas stared fixedly at Lucia. "Do you understand?"
"Hhhh." Reply Lucia who stood before Legolas expressionlessly.
The brunette boy invited the demon girl Lucia to the mall like he promised yesterday. Although only with the remaining money from his salary this month, Legolas intends to buy clothes for Lucia because all this time the girl only wears her clothes.
Legolas is basically a kind-hearted and gentle young man because he is the eldest son of the orphanage where he grew up. He always thinks of others before himself. Life in an orphanage does not make him a selfish person.
"Olas, buy me that apple!! Buy a lot!!" Lucia pointed to a pile of red apples at the fruit shop as they were about to walk to the bus stop.
"All right." Legolas immediately approached the fruit shop and bought a kilogram of apples.
"Buy more, Olas." Pinta Lucia when Legolas was about to open his wallet to pay for the apple.
Legolas looks at the contents of his wallet first while thinking whether there will be enough leftover money until the end of the month.
"Give me another kilogram." Legolas told the shopkeeper.
It wasn't long before they both got in front of the biggest mall in the city of Kryvcraz. Because today is a weekend, the mall is quite crowded. Legolas stopped walking into the mall because he was a little worried if Lucia separated from him and made a fuss.
"I won't give you the apples, they're all just for me." Lucia said as Legolas looked at her eating an apple.
"You remember my words, don't you? Don't get away from me!" Ask Legolas to make sure.
"Hhhh." Lucia replied while chewing an apple.
"Because it's too crowded, we should just go straight to find—"
Legolas' words were stopped because Lucia had already left the way to an electronics store where a large television was displayed in front of the store.
Legolas held back his emotions by sighing, for the girl had not heard his words just now nor while at home. As soon as he stepped his feet toward Lucia who seemed amazed to see the television that was showing images under the sea. While an electronics store employee approached Lucia and tried to be friendly to the girl even though her words were ignored.
"The revision of the human world is sharper in color and much nicer than the television picture in hell. Even though it's smaller than the television in my room, it's a lot nicer." Said Lucia who did not blink her eyes when she saw the television screen. "Olas, buy me this television."
I don't know how many times the young man sighed to hold back his sense of regret towards Lucia ever since the girl was present in his life. The young man's hand grabbed Lucia's arm quickly and pulled her away from the electronics store. There was no way he could afford a television as big as his wardrobe with the rest of his current salary. Even his salary for a year was not enough to buy it.
"I'll buy it when I'm rich." Legolas said as he walked to attract Lucia.
"Hmm, I'll wait for you to buy it." Lucia.
What the girl said made Legolas look at her. The words he had actually meant that whenever he would not buy such a big television because it was impossible for him to become rich, but Lucia easily said she would wait for him to buy the television.
"You can pick up some clothes you like." Legolas turned to Lucia while they were inside a women's clothing store. "You like black and red, right?"
"Yes, it's the devil's color." Lucia answered lightly. "What color do you like, Olas?"
"Green." Answer Legolas. "Green means rebirth. Yes my name also has a meaning that there is an element of that color. Legolas means green foliage and Greenville is the name of the orphanage where I grew up which means green city."
"Then I'll buy green clothes." Lucia. "So you can wear it too, like I'm wearing your clothes."
Lucia looked around, watching some girls pass by. He wanted to wear clothes that were commonly worn by human girls.
"I want to be like him."
Lucia pointed at one of the girls passing by. The girl was wearing a dress on her knees. Lucia thinks that if she wears such clothes, she will feel love, because every girl who wears such clothes looks very loving to her partner who walks with them, join hands with a warm look full of love.
"I think it's good." Legolas exclaimed at Lucia who tried on her chosen dress, a green dress."
"I'll wear it right away." Lucia.
"Yes, okay." Answer Legolas. "I'll buy you clothes for home too and da— clothes" Legolas' words came to a halt as he realized he also had to choose underwear for the girl.
"Innerwear. I'm not wearing da— clothes"
Legolas instantly shut Lucia's mouth because from the beginning a store employee was with them to serve them.
"Please help find some underwear for her as well." Said Legolas with a little embarrassment to the store employee.
While the store employee was busy looking for underwear for Lucia, Legolas picked up a knit hat. He looked to the right and left before putting it on Lucia.
"Olas, my horns are warm." Lucia said looking pleased with her glaring eyes. "I love you."
Legolas just smiled at Lucia's reaction.
"I'll pay for everything that's been taken. Come with me to the cashier. Walk behind me because the cashier is currently very full. The more days this mall gets crowded."
"Hhhh." Lucia nodded and immediately held the tip of the Legolas shirt with her thumb and index finger.
Legolas immediately walked up and queued at the cashier. He looked at Lucia who was behind him. It seems that Lucia understood it now, and did not want to be separated by Legolas.
Suddenly from the middle of the mall there was the sound of a man singing, a song that Lucia had already memorized the lyrics. Along with the man singing came the sound of a standing ovation.
Legolas was busy calculating roughly how much he would spend to pay for all Lucia's current needs. Until finally the cashier calculates how much price to pay for all Lucia needs. The young man breathed a little sigh of relief because his calculations were not too much different from the money he had to pay.
"Listen, come home from here we're going to the orphanage where I grew up." Legolas. "Possibly we'll go home tonight or stay—"
Legolas was surprised as he looked back. He didn't see Lucia there. Legolas started looking around with his eyes. He felt stupid for not realizing Lucia took off the tip of the shirt the girl was holding.
He must quickly find Lucia before the girl makes trouble. Legolas ran around and turned around to find the figure of the girl who never listened to his words. He was so worried that he accidentally hit a woman in her forties.
"I'm sorry." Said Legolas with a look around still looking not to look at the old woman he hit.
The search for Legolas stops when Lucia, who is walking, wants to take the stage to a singer who is singing with a guitar quote.
The singer is a man who is the owner of a song called I Love You Although He Must Go to Hell, and now he is singing it. He is a famous singer named Cedric Hartman.
"Cia? What's he gonna do?" Legolas ran quickly to stop Lucia who wanted to climb the stairs.
