I Don't Love You

"Olas, give me fried chicken or french fries." Said Lucia lying face down on the floor barefoot, watching Legolas.

Legolas was sitting on his bed and leaning against the wall of the house. His gaze on the mobile screen because he is currently calculating the remaining salary if reduced by the cost of rent and other costs. He also had to send money to his sisters in the parlor.

"Olas, I want to eat something else. Why did you just give me a piece of bread for dinner?" Lucia muttered uninspired.

"Shut up!! You are interrupting my concentration!! You've been eating a lot all day why is it lacking? You're greedy!!" Legolas was very upset.

"Racus is one of the basic qualities of the devil." Lucia. "Give me your phone, I'm so bored. Find me a romance drama that can make me feel love."

"I'm wearing his phone." Legolas replied after sighing.

"Then buy me a new phone."

"I told you, I don't have any money!!"

"You can steal it!! You won't sin, you won't go to hell." Lucia.

"I didn't sin because I wasn't afraid to go to hell!! But because I don't want to do such evil deeds!! Youunderstand?"

"I'm hungry, so I don't understand what you're saying."

"Basic demon!!" Grumpy Legolas.

Ting tong, ting tong...

Legolas went from his place to the door when someone pressed his doorbell. He was surprised because Ursula the owner of the house was standing at his door.

"I told you, I'll pay you the day after tomorrow at payday." Legolas.

"I came to give you this food." Ursula gave a plate of fried chicken.

"Fried chicken?" Lucia appeared very happy. "I love you."

Ursula smiled in response to Lucia's words. "Eat a lot, I know Olas doesn't have money, so surely you're just eating bread for dinner."

"A piece of bread." Answer Lucia.

Lucia brought a plate of fried chicken inside and ate it right away. Legolas felt strange to Ursula. She thought she liked Lucia because she was the same age as her son who died before birth.

"You don't want to?" Lucia asked with her mouth filled with food. "This is for you." Lucia thrust her lower chicken thigh into Legolas

Legolas took it and ate it.

"You can only get one piece, the rest for me!!" Strictly Lucia pulled the plate containing the chicken closer to her.

"Basan the devil is greedy." Legolas muttered after, breathing out.

When midnight came, the sleeping Legolas was startled by the loud noise and heat he felt. He opened his eyes and saw something burning in the air and Lucia was nearby. He knew that something had been burned by the demon girl.

"What are you burning?" Legolas asked in surprise and sat down immediately.

"Suddenly the phone died, I tried to turn it on but couldn't. I became pissed—"

"You mean you burned his cell phone?" Legolas was surprised.

Lucia nodded thinly.

"WHY DID YOU BURN IT, FOOL?!" legolas shouted with anger that had reached its peak. "THAT'S MY ONLY PRECIOUS THING!!"

"Why didn't you tell me I couldn't burn it?"

"WHAT SHOULD I SAY?"

"Yes, I don't know what I can burn. You shut up when I burn the bear doll. But you're mad—"

"DON'T BURN ANYTHING ANYMORE!! UNDERSTAND?!" Legolas said after that trying to hold back his emotions with a long sigh.

The young man again lay down with grief at the loss of his mobile phone, the most precious thing he had. He lay facing the wall and turned his back to Lucia.

Legolas remained silent, and he would not respond to the words of the demon girl.

"Olas, are you mad at me?" Lucia tugged at the young man's shirt with her two fingers, thumb and forefinger. "I love you, I'll replace it."

Legolas remained unconcerned by Lucia's words. He thought about how the girl changed her phone.

The next day Legolas kept taking Lucia to work even though she was still angry because the girl burned her cell phone. Along the way, the young man remained silent, and did not speak all of Lucia's words.

"Olas, I want fries later. I prefer Ursula fried chicken now. I'll ask him again tonight." Lucia said in a flat tone as she walked beside Legolas. "You hear me? You've been quiet since you woke up. Are you having a stomachache?"

The young man only responded with a long sigh.

Arriving at the restaurant where Legolas worked, Lucia again sat in the chair she was sitting in yesterday. The girl looked bored so she queued up as other visitors lined up to order food.

"Olas, I want big fries." Lucia exclaimed at Legolas who had seen himself queueing up from the start. "Give me the potatoes, I'm hungry."

Without speaking and with a sigh, Legolas gives the girl the fries Lucia wants.

"I love you." Lucia's words made the visitors behind the girl stare strangely at her.

Lucia walked around the other visitor's table before sitting back in her place. From his place to serve restaurant visitors, Legolas saw Lucia was already absorbed in silence by devouring fries.

"I put it on this table, but why is there suddenly nothing?" One of the female visitors spoke to her friend who was also a woman. "Surely someone stole it."

"We have to look at the CCTV footage here, I'll have them show the footage to see who took it." Answer friends.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" Drake as the person in charge of the restaurant immediately came to the two visitors.

"My cellphone disappeared, but I put it on this table and we didn't leave it."

Legolas who heard from his place immediately looked at Lucia who was still engrossed in eating. He looked in the pocket of the girl's pants looking full. Legolas immediately approached Lucia.

"Give me the phone!!" Legolas held back his emotions.

Lucia stared at Legolas.

"I know you took it, give me the phone right now!!"

Legolas immediately walked towards the two visitors who were talking to Drake. He brought a cell phone from one of the women after Lucia gave it to him.

"This is your phone, isn't it?" Legolas put the phone on the table.

"Well, this is my phone, where did you find it?"

"There's in the sink, you must have forgotten when you washed your hands." Answer Legolas.

"Olas, I know that your cousin took the phone." Drake cried while talking together in the restaurant employee's room. "Yesterday he stole fried chicken from a visitor, now he's stealing a visitor's cell phone. I have to be strict with you."

"I'm sorry, Drake. I won't let anything like that happen again." Legolas.

"Would you not bring him here anymore, or would you like to stop working?"

Arriving home, Legolas could not hold back his anger toward Lucia. As the two of them entered the house, Legolas stared intently at Lucia, though Lucia as usual stared flatly.

"I almost lost my job because of you. You really made my life harder. You better get out of my house, just find someone else who's more patient with a demon like you." Legolas Seru.

"I love you." Lucia.

Legolas paid no heed to the girl's words. He opened the door and pushed Lucia out of the door.

"Find someone else who will help you feel love." Said Legolas coldly. "I don't love you."

Legolas shut the door of his house.
