23. Recovering His Memory Part 2
The flash back
Liana ended up in the solar orphanage. It was an accident that took away her mother. Liana's originally cheerful personality became gloomy and reclusive.
Little Liana shared a bed with another child named Rina. The boy was very beautiful and liked by his friends. While Liana is quiet, ostracized.
“My name is Rina, what is your name? Let's make friends.”
Lina is the only child who offers her friendship.
Rina is sweet and kind. He's like an angel.
The next day. Liana hid her necklace under the pillow. He kept it because he was afraid it would disappear.
But two days later the necklace was gone. Liana looked for him and questioned every child she met but no one saw her until she saw the necklace around Lina's neck.
“That's my necklace!”
“What do you mean? My necklace! You want to steal it from me? The thief.”
“I'm not a thief. That's my necklace.”
“You mean, I stole your stuff?”
Rina is a sweet child and all her friends are on her side. In contrast to Liana. The children of the parlour thought of her as a demon and all treated Liana badly.
Some time passes, Liana hears that Rina was adopted by a wealthy family.
Flash back off
Liana opened her eyes wide and found herself already lying on her bed.
Liana was still trying to catch her unnatural breath. Suddenly his eyes let out anger and gloom.
Dark memories swept through his subconscious and clearly appeared in his mind.
“You okay?”
Liana immediately turned her head as Gideon's voice sounded beside her.
Gideon immediately inched closer and looked at him fixedly. His hand caressed Liana's injured forehead.
“What happened? Who did this?”
“That's her. He stole my necklace and accused me of stealing.”
Her tears suddenly came out. Liana held Gideon's hand very tightly.
Those dark memories suddenly appeared and ransacked his emotions.
“Ruona was adopted by the Cross family because of my necklace. Do you know?” inner Liana screamed.
“Liana relax lah.”
Gideon had trouble breathing to see Liana in a mess.
“I'm not a thief. Do you trust me?”
“Liana how can you ask like that? How can you be a thief?”
“But they accuse me of stealing!”
Liana closed her eyes and cried loudly. Liana tried her best to forget that nightmare scene. But his memories that appeared uncontrollably frightened him and tortured him endlessly.
Gideon who saw her immediately hugged her and calmed her down.
Elsewhere, on the way to Ruona's house. Suddenly Ruona felt pain in her abdomen until she was unconscious.
Johan frantically drove his car to the nearest hospital. When he arrived at the hospital, Johan immediately laid him on the hospital bed and told the doctor to check him immediately.
Johan looked at the doctor who examined him with anxious feelings.
“What happened to him?”
The doctor was talking to the nurse then nodded before looking at Johan.
“What is your relationship with patients?” ask doctor.
“We're just friends.”
The doctor hesitated but nodded. “Can you call his family to come here?”
“Is he seriously ill?” the doctor's advice astonished Johan.
“No! Can you call her husband to come? We want to do a thorough pregnancy check and want to give a consultation.”
“Pregnant?”
Johan was surprised. He could not believe what he had just heard.
“Are you sure she's pregnant? She was diagnosed unable to conceive before. His family has even checked it out and the result is he is infertile.”
“How could that happen? This woman is fertile.”
Johan looks confused until he does not realize that the doctor has gone from his presence.
He frowned confused as to what to do.
“What if she's really pregnant? Cross's gonna find out soon enough. Ruona and Gideon had never even touched if this news came out. Getting pregnant out of wedlock is a huge scandal, moreover it is not the son of Gideon Cross.”
“Ah.”
Johan immediately turned around when he heard Ruona's voice.
“Where is this?” ruona asked as her gaze swept around her.
“Hospital. You passed out so I brought you here. Are you now better.”
“Yes. I want to go home now. Grandpa must be worried about me.”
They drive to the house. Johan looks occasionally glanced at Ruona. The man hesitated to say what was in his brain.
Her words always stuck deep in her throat until Ruona realized something.
“What's up?” ruona asked because Johan's attitude was so strange.
“Are you really diagnosed with infertility?”
The question broke the silence.
“Why did you ask about this all of a sudden?” Ruona's eyes widened, she also slightly grumbled.
“No, I just asked.”
Ruona exhaled violently. He was angry and sad.
“If it wasn't for me being barren, I'd be married to Gideon at this time.”
“What do you mean? Explain to me clearly?” johan's insistence made Ruona look at him.
