35. Gifts

Liana woke up in the early hours. She looked at the handsome face of Gideon as her husband's god. Sometimes he smiled when he heard a little snoring coming out of Gideon.

Liana glanced at the longest large clock on the wall. Time has shown at one in the morning. He decided to head to the kitchen to get some drinking water because his throat was dry.

As he pulled up his blanket, he accidentally saw the door open. From his bed he saw the figure of a little man peeking at him.

From her stature, Liana understood very well that the little man was Damian.

“Damian?”

The figure then opened the door wider and looked towards Liana.

“Why are you standing there? Come here!”

Damian immediately ran small towards Liana. He climbed into the bed and hugged his mother.

Damian hugged his mother very tightly. His eyelids suddenly felt sore. Everything seemed dim in front of him as fog welled up in his eyes.

“Bu, have you stopped loving Damian?”

Damian pouted in annoyance as tears began to trickle down.

“It's not true. I really love Damian.”

On the other hand, apparently another figure appeared from the front of the door. The figure stood there while looking at the scene of the mother and son hugging each other.

Daniel's eyes look hurt.

As soon as Damian said that, the little boy ran out of Liana's room. When he's right about to come out. Damian saw Daniel was there. Damian immediately scowled and ran to his room.

Liana who saw Damian's departure accidentally saw Daniel's whereabouts.

Without hesitation Liana knocked on Damian's room door and then she opened it quietly. Damian looked under his blanket.

“Damian,” call Liana gently but Damian ignores her.

“Are you still angry with mom? Do you still hate mom?” liana asked sadly. “Huh? Mother's heart is sad.”

Immediately after, the sound of the door slowly closing sounded. Damian took his head out of his blanket.

“Mother!”

“Gulf!”

Liana immediately hugged Damian tightly and gave a kiss on the top of Damian's head. Damian's originally swollen eyes were now a crescent moon as a smile involuntarily adorned his lips.

“So, does Damian still hate mom?”

“How can Damian hate mom? Mother the best.”

“Ah, right mom there's something for you. Daniel gave a special gift to you.”

Damian immediately held the gift. The gift was beautifully wrapped.

“Mother is curious about what she gave you.” Liana deliberately tested Damian. “Why don't we open it and see it?”

In the morning, Ruona looks very lethargic. He closed his eyes after putting down his phone. For the past few years, Ruona had not been out of the house at all.
