71. Don't underestimate Daniel

When the car arrived. Ruona immediately asked Daniel to close his eyes.

“Close your eyes.”

“Are you afraid I'll remember the route?”

Ruona did not reply and Daniel immediately snorted but he did not resist and closed his eyes.

“You turned out to be obedient as well,” said Ruona.

Children are always easily deceived.

The car was walking through a deserted street.

Ruona turned her head and lowered her head to look at the handsome boy's face. But Ruona's eyes suddenly turned cold at the thought that the boy was the child of Liana.

He could not control himself not to strangle her. Ruona stretched out both her hands and sucked in to grip her throat hard.

But just before his fingers could touch Daniel's neck, the boy leaned to the side and quickly gripped Ruona's wrist tightly.

“Ahhh!”

Ruona's shout shocked the driver and the bodyguard sitting in front. Both turned around quickly.

Daniel snorted and untied the cloth that had closed his eyes.

“Let me go! What are you guys waiting for? Hold this boy!”

Daniel smiled coldly and directly tied Ruona's hands back with his cloth.

His bodyguard held the gun straight away but Daniel reached out his hand and grabbed the gun within seconds.

Daniel directly aimed his barrel at Ruona's temple and Ruona's entire body began to stiffen.

“I'm curious, is this a toy gun or a real gun?”

“You, how dare you!”

Ruona directly stared at her bodyguards ferociously. “What did you do snatch that gun?”

Daniel grinned and pointed the gun at the man.

“I'm really curious about this gun.”

His index finger was ready to shoot. The guard was scared.

“Do not! Don't mess with that thing, son.”

Dorr.

Daniel fired the gun right at the window next to the bodyguard. The window was broken.

The surprised driver immediately stepped on the brakes suddenly. His eyes glared in disbelief.

“Ha ha ha.”

Daniel's laughter suddenly sounded.

“Turns this is real. Driver sir, keep driving.”

The driver sat stiffly in his seat. His hands began to shake uncontrollably in the steering wheel of the car.

“Run the car.”

The driver looked towards Ruona. “Nona.ini...”.

“Listen to him and turn on his car.”

The car came back in the dark of the night and the cold of the night wind.

Ruona curled away from Daniel who was playing a gun like a toy. Ruona watched him in silence and found a slight difference.

Ruona realized that the boy in front of her was slightly taller and contained. Suddenly Ruona was aware with her swift movements and the eyes of the child reminded her of someone.

“Daniel..” Ruona's voice is so weak.

“What?” daniel's gaze immediately hit Ruona's eyes.

“It was really you?”

It clearly looked like Ruona was very surprised. How can a child deceive an adult.

Ruona was completely at a loss for her words. His heart was pounding again as his phone lit up due to a call.

Daniel immediately pulled Ruona's phone out of her bag. His eyebrows frowned slightly as foreign numbers appeared on the nameless screen.

“Who is this?”

“It...I don't know.” Lying Ruona.

“Jawab this call,” tell Daniel. “Jawab call correctly. Your voice cannot vibrate.”

Daniel immediately shifted his screen and changed it in the zoom mode so that he could hear it too.

“Halo brother kevin.”

“Where is the boy?”

Runna looked at Daniel with fear. “She's already in the car. Now we're on our way.”

“Where's Simon? Have you given him the medicine?”

“Yes, I've given him medicine and I think he's sleeping in his room.”

The call ended and Damian's face grew colder.

“You put medicine for great-grandfather?”

“I had to do it. I don't actually want to hurt grandpa if I can.”

“Tell me, what's your motive?”

“Not me! I didn't do it for me. I was forced.”

Daniel turned the gun back towards Ruona. Ruona immediately told the whole detail of Kevin's plan because he was so scared.

“Using mom and Damian to force dad to give up all his shares on uncle.”

Daniel looked pale and surprised.

“If dad is forced to give up Cross group shares, the Cross family will be destroyed overnight and I'm not sure that man will let go of mom and Damian.”

Daniel immediately looked at Ruona sharply.

“Where do you hide mom?”

Ruona nodded. “I don't know.”

“Don't lie to me. Aren't we on our way to see mom?”

“I really don't know. That place is in the middle of the forest. No street name and undetectable by maps. I really don't know the place.”

“Do you think, I can't shoot right in your head?”

“I didn't lie to you. Even if you shoot me, I really don't know.”

Daniel immediately plays his watch, every kilometer, the signal will be sent to Damian's watch.

The car continued to speed, the scenery was completely dark away from the bustle that existed in the city. It seems to be a very distant place.

Daniel glanced at his watch and the gps signal was getting weaker.

Ten minutes later the car stopped.

“You wait here. If you dare to move, I will shoot you.”

Daniel immediately led Ruona out.

“Take me there.”

They went straight to the main door.

Daniel immediately kicked the door hard, causing a commotion.

“Who?”

“It's me! Quickly open the door,” said Ruona.

The main door of the building slowly opened, Daniel immediately kicked Ruona's shins so that the woman bent over.

Daniel directly pointed his gun between his eyebrows.

A group of people came out but when they saw the boy holding the woman hostage. They were a little confused and could not understand the situation.

Ruona raised her head. “Help me! And save me!”

“Where did this boy come from, want to stop messing around.”

Among them one scoffed at Daniel nonstop.

Daniel raised his hand and along with it. Direct gunfire sounded. A bullet went through his eyebrows.

The sound of loud gunfire stunned everyone.

“I was thinking what if it hit your vital members?”

Raising his chin haughtily. “Bring me to the woman.”

“What woman?”

The man Daniel had just shot looked surprised.

Ruona's knees were completely limp and numb.

“Bring him to Liana. Bring him quickly! Don't underestimate. He'll really shoot.”

They opened the way for Daniel.

“Throw all weapons, knives and more.”

Everyone threw their weapons but there was one of them who took the opportunity to hide and peck at Daniel.

The man dropped his gun. Then his hand spits out blood. This was the first time in his life to suffer humiliation.

Daniel squinted his eyes once the song to make sure that there were no weapons on them before Daniel slowly approached.

Daniel froze as his gaze fell on the figure of the woman inside the cell.
