39. Trapped in an Elevator

Liana walked past the few people who passed by in front of her. He looked up a little when he was at his destination.

“Oh? Is this the place?”

Liana went straight into the hotel. He saw his phone back. Whether fate or not when will enter the elevator door. He met Kingston.

Liana was a little awkward.

“You're not in?” kingston asked when Liana wouldn't go inside.

“Ah, yes.”

Liana then got into the elevator. Only the two of them were in the elevator.

“A long time ago we did not meet,” said Kingston.

“Ah yes.”

“How are you?” ask Kingston.

“Good news. How are you?”

“As you can see.”

When Kingston wants to open the conversation again. The tone of the message from Liana's phone rang. Liana refocused her attention on the screen of her phone.

After answering the message. Suddenly the elevator door blinked a few times and the elevator suddenly descended following gravity.

Kingston grabbed Liana by the arm and jerked her into his arms. Liana's phone fell to the floor.

The elevator was sliding freely, freaking Liana out. They both were shocked and fell down immediately.

“What happened?” ask Liana.

Liana could not react when the elevator fell so hard. It's so quiet. His face was pale and frightened. His fear devoured him from within.

“Kingston..”.

“Do not be afraid, I'm here.”

Luna closed her eyes. Kingston calmed him down.

“Are we going to be stuck here forever?” ask Liana.

“No. We'll be out soon.”

“You can stand?”

Liana nodded and she stood up. He noticed Kingston who was pressing the alarm bell but after pressing for so long there was no answer at all.

“Why doesn't anyone answer it?”

“Does it not work?”

“Should work.”

Liana immediately looked at her dropped phone and immediately picked it up. He hastily called Gideon but in vain because there is no network at all. Liana started to panic.

“No signal on my phone.”

There was no signal, and no alarm answered. Liana started to get lost in her thoughts. He was trapped in a narrow space and his fear.

Kingston frowned as he impatiently pressed the alarm bell repeatedly. Half an hour later, no one answered. Out of frustration he punched the metal door of the elevator and finally gave up.

“Kingston, I've read the news. Someone died trapped in an elevator.”

“Liana, do you believe me?”

“Ya.”

“Do not be afraid. The elevator staff will come. We just need to wait for him.”

“Hmm.”

Liana calmed down a little.

The air was so cold and silent and Liana stood in a corner while looking down. He could not stand it anymore and he sat down next to Kingston who was sitting next to him.

Kingston took his phone in his pocket and opened the music app and played one of his latest albums.

The beautiful music eliminates the anxiety caused by the silence inside the elevator.

“You're cold?”

Kingston hurriedly squatted down. He placed his hand carefully on Liana's shoulder.

Liana shook her head and tightened her own embrace as the song stopped and prepared for the previous song.

Worried about Liana. Kingston immediately took off his suit for Liana. Kingston pushed the alarm button again. He even kicked the elevator door hard and tried to scream for help.

Kingston looked at his phone to see the clock. He stopped the music to save battery.

Kingston looked at Liana and grew increasingly anxious. The cramped space will feel suffocating to anyone after a while.

Suah kept grumbling in her room for too long waiting for Liana. He took his phone to see his phone.

“An hour has passed and he hasn't arrived yet. Just watch out as soon as he comes.”

Suah directly called but only the voice of the operator sounded.

When he went to the elevator. He pushed the button several times but the elevator door did not open.

“Is the elevator broken?”

Suah went downstairs with an emergency ladder. He looked out of the hotel but the person he was waiting for did not see.

As he wanted to return to the room, the loud ringing of the phone made him jump in shock.

“Halo.”

“Auntie, tell my mom to come home soon. It's already night. Mom gave me a message not to go home last night.”

“Damian, your mother did not go to see aunt.”

Damian opened the tracking device. The last time his mother gave him a message. Location seen in hotel area.

“But he...Where is your aunt?”

“Hotel A.”

Damian immediately hung up his phone and immediately dialed another number.

“Dad, go home now! It's an emergency.”

Elsewhere, Suah became confused by the circumstances that occurred. He saw a sports car stop right in front of the lobby.

They are Gideon and Damian. They went straight to the reception. While Suah was still in a daze.

“I want to get cctv footage for this afternoon,” Gideon said.

The receptionist stared in disbelief at the handsome man who was in front of him. His height and presence are incredible.

The receptionist had to swallow his salivation several times.

“Sorry Sir, our rules. If there is nothing urgent. Cctv recording should not be viewed by anyone.”

Gideon stared straight at me.

“This is urgent, my mother is missing at the hotel where you work,” Damian said.

“Sorry you should have reported it to the police. We can't take security footage unless the police ask.”

Gideon's eyes instantly narrowed and walked into a corner with his son. He makes dsn calls by briefly giving orders.

After a few minutes, five men dressed in police clothes showed up. When the police chief saw Gideon, he immediately went towards Gideon.

“Pak, long time no see. What can we help you with?”

I wanted to see security cameras at this hotel, but the hotel staff said that I had no authority to do so,” Gideon said.

“So sir Gideon wants to see security footage.”

Gideon nodded and the police chief walked to the front desk and everything was done.

They are welcome to head to the control room. As they passed the elevator, the staff were astonished.

“Is the elevator broken? Tell someone to fix it.”

“Dad, is mom stuck inside?”

“No way son, how could that happen? If someone is trapped in an elevator. Our staff will see it,” said the Hotel manager.

“Maybe they fell asleep,” Damian said.

“Let's go there soon.”

In the control room, all four staff members were asleep. Damian ignored the hotel manager who scolded the staff.

Damian went straight to the monitor and immediately shouted. “This mother!”

All turned to look in the direction Damian pointed. On the monitor was seen Liana curled up with Kingston.

Gideon walked straight to the monitor. Her thin lips were pressed to the coldest line as her eyes swept over those behind her.

“Pak Gideon, forgive my negligence.” The manager apologized.

“Why don't you immediately contact the rescue team!”

“Ya.”

Gideon stared back at the monitor screen. His eyes narrowed as he stood in front of the screen. He noticed how Kingston hugged Liana tightly.

Suah who saw the cold aura of Gideon immediately exclaimed. “Kingston must have been afraid Liana was cold so she hugged him.”

“Dad, let's go downstairs.”

Damian and Gideon go straight down with the staff and also Suah. By the time they had arrived they were all shocked by the large number of reporters.

“Reporter?” gideon's brows frowned unhappily.
