HH CHAPTER 26 - Birthday Party
Tia knew how Megan, the woman who lacked affection, must have felt touched by Theo's concern for her.
"From the beginning I didn't suggest ending your relationship. Why do you talk like that, I always support you," Tia said while helping Megan tidy up her hair.
"Just life in the world of the entertainer is very hard, those who envy or dislike us will look for loopholes to drop. They're definitely going to use Theo as a tool to make you dim.
"I know that, so I'll never get Theo into my complicated life. I can fortify myself enough" Megan replied.
"But how does Theo feel? You're just gonna ignore it?" tanya Tia explained.
"I think he's new to monkey love, surely the feeling will disappear by itself later," replied Megan although not sure.
A few minutes later, Megan was ready. He and Tia went to the hotel where the event was held.
And unfortunately the event turned out to be in the hotel ballroom where Theo worked.
"Really's? Why didn't you tell me from the beginning?" megan's Protest.
"Theo's just a janitor, she can't be on the show" Tia replied.
"I hope so" Megan really wished Theo wasn't there.
Megan got out of the car in the hotel lobby, there were several media outlets covering the party. Megan was briefly interviewed and then entered the venue.
"Megan.." exclaimed Maya when she saw her friend coming.
"Happy birthday," Megan congratulates him on cipika cipiki. Then she gave me her card, a branded bag that Megan had never used.
"Oh my God! This is a limited edition" Maya said when opening a gift from Megan and she showed off to Gendhis who was walking towards them. "Look what I got from Megan!"
"Just calm down" Megan replied. He wanted to say goodbye but his intention was stopped because Maya and Gendhis pulled him to the table where someone was waiting for him.
"Look, who's coming" commented the person.
"For a long time did not meet Ruben" said Megan who knew the man. The man who always steals the chance to get close to Megan.
He is not interested at all with the business man because Megan knows that Ruben approached him just to win the bet.
"You're getting pretty, Megan," Ruben grabbed her hand and kissed her. He deliberately so that there are paparazzi who photograph them to be used as gossip. "You certainly know that your new movie one of the sponsors is my company. I'll even get a little scene in that movie later!"
Megan hurriedly moved her hand away. "Dear your attitude, let there be no cheap gossip because of this."
"I didn't pay much attention to my film sponsorships but I always worked professionally. I hope you do too," he continued.
"Hey, why is the atmosphere so tense like this," Maya tried to melt the atmosphere. "It's my birthday!"
Forced to sit down, Megan must find an excuse to get out of there quickly.
Megan searches for Tia's whereabouts but the manager is in the toilet.
Soon Maya and Gendhis's lovers join forces with them, which automatically makes Megan become close to Ruben.
"Isn't this Megan's destiny?" reuben asked as he grabbed the woman's hair and stroked her.
And of course that moment immediately became the target of paparazzi.
