S2 | HH CHAPTER 64 - A Quote

After the video call connection with her father was cut off, Ara put the phone on her study table then she reached for a picture frame where there were photos of her, her mother and father that she pasted into one.

"Good night, Mom," Ara kisses Megan's picture and hugs the picture frame for her to take to bed.

Every night Ara always does that. Ara hopes to meet her mother in a dream.

While what Ara missed so far was in other parts of the world.

After recovering postpartum, Megan actually went to England. For two years he was outpatient by a psychiatrist.

To shift her mind, Megan worked at an opera until now. His salary was not much but enough to finance his own life.

"Megan's your turn!" call the opera producer.

Megan who was sitting at her dresser immediately stood up to perform the show. Like acting, the difference in opera is made dramatic by adjusting the background and song.

As usual Megan's acting always amazes the connoisseurs of opera that day.

As Megan bent down, her attention was on someone waving at her. The man sat in the front seat.

"I'm waiting for you outside!" yell that guy.

None other than that person was Tia, after not being Megan's manager anymore, the woman tried another fortune. Tia learned to be a film producer even though at the beginning she fell awake but now some of her films are successful until they are watched by millions of viewers in theaters.

Coincidentally Tia had just come from Paris, she accidentally bought a ticket to England before returning to Indonesia. He wants to visit Megan.

"Do you want to buy me coffee?" megan asked when she came out and went to her former manager.

"I'll treat you until you're satisfied" Tia said as she hugged Megan. "You're more full than we last met!"

"You counting?" Tia chuckles. He took off the hug and they went to one of the cafes.

Still taking tranquilizers and sleeping pills, Megan doesn't drink alcohol anymore so every time she meets Tia, they'll go to a cafe and order coffee.

"I feel like time has passed, you've been gone seven years. Do you really not want to go back to Indonesia and settle there? Are you still scared?" ask Tia. He knows that Megan is being hit by anxiety about the original video, especially Ruben has been released from prison.

Although the original file has been successfully destroyed but there could still be a copy of the video.

"If the video were to spread, Theo would still accept you. He's so faithfully waiting for you, don't you pity? Ara always misses you and wants to see her mother" Tia continued.

Megan grabbed her coffee cup with trembling hands, slowly she drank her coffee.

"If you want to talk about them, we better not meet" Megan said after calming down.

Tia could only snort violently, she could not bear to see Megan torment herself for so many years.

Megan's hope is that Theo can move on and find a new life partner for Ara's mother but Theo foolishly waits for his wife to return.

"I came to make an offer" Tia gave Megan a script. "This is a perfect fit for you to play, I hope you accept it and start your career again."

"You want to be a movie star or a pathetic opera performer? You have to choose between the two!"

Before leaving, Tia gives a new portrait of Ara playing with her rooster.

"She's so beautiful, Megan. At least look at your son once!" tia Pinta.
