S2 | HH CHAPTER 73 - Not What It Used To Be

Megan hurriedly distanced herself and sure enough that this was all real, Megan only realized that she was in her old room.

The decorations and furniture are still the same.

"When my mother-in-law sold this penthouse, I bought it right away because of the many memories we've been through here" explained Theo, who noticed Megan's confusion.

"I did not expect that time will make my mother-in-law open a business and can develop until now, at that time she needed a larger capital so I bought it twice,"

"Even your mother-in-law has started a new life, but why can't you forgive yourself?"

Theo wants to get closer but Megan is still trying to get away.

"Don't come any closer," Megan refused as she tightened the blanket that covered her body.

Simultaneously, the door of the room was knocked.

"Dad.." call Ara at the door.

Theo sighed, he shouldn't be too pushy so he'll get out of that room.

"Ara and I are waiting for you outside" he said before disappearing behind the door.

Megan immediately sat down when Theo was gone and disappeared from her eyes. He tried to calm himself then look for clothes in the walk in closet room, even the clothes and items that were still left there.

She took one dress and put it on.

"Why hasn't Ara slept?" megan muttered.

Wanting to see her daughter, Megan exits the room and it turns out that the boy is waiting for her at the dinner table.

"Mother, let's hurry up and get the soup cold" Ara said when she saw Megan.

Forced Megan to sit at the dinner table because she was hungry and her body was all sick, she needed food to recover.

Megan is not surprised because Theo was good at cooking.

Finally the three of them ate together at one dining table which made Ara a pleasure. The boy ate voraciously while occasionally looking at his mother.

"Mother, aren't we similar?" asked Ara on her feed.

"Your face is your mother's dominant one" Theo responded because Megan was silent.

"After this I'm going to Tia's place, why did she leave me and have to end up here?" Megan really doesn't remember the incident after eating the amethyst. "Aren't we in the hospital?"

Ara and Theo just quietly do not answer Megan's confusion, they continue eating until Megan is really going to go to Tia's house.

"It's midnight, online taxi messages are rare so just wait until tomorrow, it looks like we have the same schedule because we have to go to the film agency," theo tries to prevent Megan from leaving.

"Why do you have to go to the agency?" ask Megan.

"Didn't you know? The movie you took from Tia, the male lead was me" Theo replied.

Megan widened her eyes, she could have a movie with the guy. "You're kidding me, right? You can't even act!"

"I've learned a lot in every video clip of my song and I've been invited to comeo several times in box office movies. Now that I'm offered the lead, of course I won't waste a chance" Theo replied convincingly.

"I can't believe I haven't heard from Tia yet" Megan still tried to dodge and left.

As he was about to open the door, Theo held Megan's hand from behind.

"How do you make you believe?" theo whispered in Megan's ear that made the woman goosebumps. "Do we need to act as a couple?"

"But, aren't we really a couple?" Theo bit Megan's earlobe aggressively.

This was very different from the old Theo.
