His Purpose

His Purpose
123. A Piece of Memory

"No problem whatsoever. Your wife's content is a little weak, but the baby is in good condition and healthy. There are no signs of impact marks or falling shocks as you say."

Mary ducked squeezing her interlocked fingers. He did not dare to look at Gibran at all to know the man's expression now.

Silent. This silence was gripping for Mary. Gibran did not also melt his sinister aura. Maria felt suffocated until she was unable to say a word.

"So you mean my wife didn't fall?" ask Gibran flat.

"True, nothing happened to him. The baby and his mother are in good health. You don't have to worry, sir." Patiently the doctor explained. His lips could not be separated into a warm friendly smile that could calm Mary a little.

Gibran was still silent as they exited the examination room. Mary also did not have the courage to simply rebuke. Gibran is completely different than usual.

Maria fear. He could only look down at the hospital floor he was on, until Maria jumped as her body staggered to the side hitting Gibran. The man had just pulled it when there was a bed of patients about to pass.

"Not enough at home here, do you want to be careless? The right path."

Maria really wants to cry now. A cold Gibran like this pierced his heart.

"Koko .." the ringisnya raucous.

Gibran took off his grip and walked ahead of Mary. Nick who did not have the initiative to approach led the mistress out following his master who was now sitting sweetly in the car.

Maria sat awkwardly beside Gibran. The man never once glanced at him. It's really painful. Gibran has never been this angry before.

The car drove slowly splitting the congested Jakarta road. Many times he heard Gibran clucking impatiently. Mary glanced at the man occasionally. Gibran has been focusing on looking out the window, or checking his tablet and watching the news on the television in front of him.

Gibran completely ignored Maria. This was only the first time that their relationship as husband and wife improved.

Maria can't let this go.

"K-Bugfur ..."

Silent.

Nick glanced back for a moment. Does it need to raise the partition wall for privacy? But seeing his master reacting to nothing he made sure it wasn't necessary.

"I'm sorry" Mary whispered.

His eyes shifted to Gibran who was still faithfully silent. His hands and feet crossed arrogantly as if building a foreign bulkhead for Mary.

"I-I was wrong. I'm sorry. I told you I didn't fall, did I?"

Finally Mary dared to look up, but again the silence she got. Gibran refused to respond.

"I did it because—"

"Take me to the airport" Gibran said, cutting off Maria's words.

Mary looked at the man sadly. It's not enough to ignore it now that Gibran is leaving. Though Maria pretended to fall so that Gibran did not leave, but things turned around so much worse. They had to separate in a fight.

Nick glanced at Maria. He knew the madam was not used to his master's attitude like this.

The car stopped at the airport. Gibran tidied his coat and spoke before descending. "Supervise him as long as I'm not around."

"Master, I—"

"You don't have to come. Take him home right now" Gibran said.

The man came down and closed the door leaving silence. While at her place Maria stared at the back of Gibran away from the parking lot.

Nick took his car back from the airport. His eyes could see Maria looking down at the back seat. The woman seemed to have suffered greatly after Gibran. Nick doesn't know what to entertain his employers in.

"Mrs ... want to eat something?"

Soon Nick asked again. "Mrs want ice cream?"

Mary did not answer. Nick gives up, he doesn't talk again until the car arrives at Tjandra's residence.

Maria got off before Nick could open the door. The woman walked quickly into her house, even ignoring Rayan who hurriedly came out about to greet her.

Rayan shifted her focus to Nick who now lowered her head. "What's been going on? Where's Gibran?"

"So we drove him straight to the airport."

Although the look looks calm, but in reality Rayan is quite flabbergasted. It could be that the boy left in this tense condition. Didn't she look so worried when Maria fell?

He sighed. "You're not following?" ask Nick.

"Master asked me to stay behind to take care of Madam."

"Oh." Rayan muttered long. He then turned to enter the house to find Maria. The princess was locked in her room.

Rayan sighed and chose to go into the study. He would check on Maria regularly and make sure she kept eating.

While in her room, Maria cried as she hugged a pillow. Gibran's nonchalant attitude really forged his usual mental spoiled man.

Gibran's impact was shocking. Mary's heart throbbed, and Gibran preferred to leave rather than respond to her apology.

Maria knew he was wrong, but couldn't Gibran be a little more gentle in his response?

"Hiks, Koko is evil ..." sobbing raucous. "He changed. I'm scared ..."

Mary did not stop crying until she fell asleep. Her eyes were swollen like a tennis ball. His nose is red and watery. Mary carried her anxiety until she dreamed of something foreign.

Surprisingly the dream seemed real as if Maria had experienced it.

"Missing ..."

Cup.

Maria smiled broadly as the man looked over. He immediately sat down beside her and glanced briefly at the book on the table.

"What is Senior reading?"

The man did not answer, only lifted a few books, showing the title on the cover of the book to Maria.

Maria nodded while muttering a long 'oh. He smiled again embracing the man's upper arm spoiledly.

"Today I'm shopping, huh?"

"About? You have no duty?"

Maria grimaces. "There, anyway. But ... My head is dizzy if I keep learning. Sometimes I wonder, did senior never faint to continue reading like that? All I see is seniors just friends with books."

The man smiled faintly. It was so thin that Maria did not notice the small twitch.

"Where to shop?"

Maria touched her chin thinking. "Emm ... Where to, huh? Yesterday Chanel brought out a new bag product. I want to, but he said it was difficult to order because it was limited," he said accompanied by a whimper.

The man seemed silent for a while, before his hand pulled Mary to his feet. "Come, come with me."

At first Mary did not understand, but after that she knew because a few hours later the bag that Mary originally wanted was in front of her.
