Gibran urung lay down as his phone vibrated on the nightstand. Maria who was about to fall asleep also turned her head when her husband grabbed the phone.
Gibran appeared to be silent for a while before putting the flat object in the ear. "Hello?"
This time his forehead was faintly wrinkled. For a moment he turned to Maria and signaled that she was waiting for him for a while, as he moved out of the room.
Maria curious. Who's calling until Gibran has to leave him like that.
Gibran soon returned in a hurry. The man crossed Mary who was now fully seated with a curious look. Gibran went into the wardrobe room, apparently taking his wallet and car keys. Kontan Maria stood up.
"Where are you going?"
Gibran was still talking to someone across the street until a second later the call ended. He touched Mary's shoulder. "I'm out for a second, huh?"
"Where?" Maria's forehead wrinkled. "Something seems bad? What's going on?"
"Papa's accident. Police say single accident. Now it's being handled in the operating room."
Maria wails. "Pa-Papa? Papa who?"
"Abhis."
"Gosh my god." Mary closed her mouth in surprise.
"You wait here, huh? I have to go there because Gabriel is in Brunei. Maybe he can come back tomorrow."
Maria nodded quickly. "Be careful."
Gibran nodded and kissed the old Mary's forehead. Not to forget he also greeted Maria's stomach before leaving. If Mary had not been pregnant, she would have forced her to come along. Unfortunately, the situation is not supportive.
Gibran left still in his sleeping pajamas. Maria gave the man a sweater just in case. He was relieved that Gibran went with Nick. That way he's not alone on the road. Maria was afraid because it seemed like Gibran was already very sleepy.
"May Papa Abhi be well" whispered Mary, cupping her hands and shutting her.
The morning of Gibran still has not yet been heard. Though Mary wanted to know how the development of her in-laws. All night Maria had trouble sleeping because of the restlessness. But thankfully Gibran was willing to accompany her on a video call.
Rayan also already knew about the accident that hit the iron. Although their relationship is not so good, but Maria believes Rayan will still take the time to visit her business partner.
The morning changed, and Mary finally found Gibran coming home. The man was neat with a shirt suit and material pants. Looks new.
Maria who had been waiting for Gibran's arrival immediately greeted the man as he entered from the main door.
"What how?"
Gibran did not answer, he just smiled and looked down at Maria's stomach.
"Coko, uh."
"Hm?"
"What how?"
Gibran refused to answer Mary's question. He straightened his body and kissed Mary's forehead briefly. "What's how?"
I want Maria to crack. "Of course it's the situation."
"Okay" the man replied briefly.
"Gee! Seriously!"
"I'm serious, Plum. He's all right."
From last night Gibran had no panics. Wonderful, doesn't he have the slightest bit of worry about his father? But, with Gibran willing to be the guardian it already shows that he cares.
Maria did not ask any more, although she was still curious and hesitant about Gibran's answer. How could he believe Papa Abhi was fine while he was watching the state of his car on television news.
As a famous businessman in the country, of course, things that concern Abhimanyu Wiranata are often in the spotlight, including incidents of accidents last night.
"Want to go to the hospital again?"
Abhimanyu was admitted to his own hospital.
"For what? Gabriel is home today. And again, the Old Grandfather was there too" said Gibran in a suddenly lazy voice.
"I mean Koko Grandpa Roman?"
"Hm."
"Coko is still like that to them. They're Koko's family."
Gibran did not say. When Maria looked up she found Gibran's highlight so complicated to be unpredictable. How bad is the relationship between Gibran and his family to Gibran always reluctant if it is related to them?

Abhimanyu was lying weakly in an ICU bed. Various medical equipment forged nearly fifty percent of his body.
Outside, Roman looked at the prince with concern. He could not enter because doctors forbade him as long as Abhi was critical.
"Why did you guys become this complicated?" mumbling slowly. "When will all these wars take place?"
"Thou shalt not have a life taken. You were once a family."
The sound of an approaching step drew Roman's attention from his attitude. He turned his head and found Sandra walking around casually with her arms crossed and a smile fluffy.
Roman's sharpness turned flat. "Would you like to come here?"
Sandra raised an eyebrow. "Seeing the state of my ex-husband, of course."
"Female demon. How dare you—" Roman took a deep breath. "I'll report you to the police. Remember, your status here is that of a stranger," the repressive might made Sandra laugh.
The woman raised her hand which was holding a map. "Please. We'll know who's wrong here." Sandra grunting. "The result of this visa will obviously incriminate your son."
Roman's forehead is crimped in. "What do you mean?"
Sandra did not answer. The corner of his lips twitched faintly looking at the man who was his former in-law.
Sandra turned around and left Roman alone with her curiosity. What did that woman mean just now? What visa results? Did Abhi do anything to Sandra?
Roman turned to Abhimanyu. The highlight is complicated looking at Abhi who is now helpless under the shadow of the monitor.

"Koko hasn't answered my question about the necklace yet." Maria whimpers.
Gibran took his eyes off the laptop to look at Maria. He looked at his wife for a long time before taking a deep breath. "You're so curious about that thing."
It's not a question, it's a fact.
"Yes, Koko is suspicious. It's probably Koko's ex-boyfriend's necklace. Koko failed to move on, huh?!"
Gibran who is less focused is just a release of speech. "Yes." Yeah."
He did not realize that Mary's now darkened countenance was staring intently at him. "Tuh, right! Right, right?! So Koko still often thinks of the former until now?!"
Maria was already frowning with teary eyes.
Gibran, who had just realized his mistake, stopped the movement of his typing finger.
"Plum, I don't mean it."
"Then what?" Maria rubbed her watery eyes. "Obviously Koko said she still likes to think about her ex. Hiks, Koko's bad. Koko just likes to forbid me to remember Gabriel. But now ..."
"Darling, you misunderstood." Gibran went to Maria who was somehow cleaning up in the wardrobe room.
The woman sat down on the floor, while Gibran sat on the sofa at work. Now Gibran knelt before Mary who was still busy wiping tears. He grabbed the wife's shoulder gently to look at her.
"You misunderstood. I wasn't focused on our conversation, including your question."
"Hiks, lie. Koko said it was an ex's necklace."
Indeed indeed. Do I have to be honest now? While I myself was afraid of how Mary reacted.
"That's ... "
