After a few days in the hospital, Maria was finally allowed to go home. Only his hands still needed time for recovery. The doctor advised her to check up every week.
Of course due to the influence of her family and husband Mary received special treatment. He does not need to go home to the hospital because his own doctor will take the time to come home.
At Rayan's request, Maria returned home in a car with the man. There was no debate from Gibran, he himself just nodded without rebuttal.
Bizarrely. Usually Gibran always put a war drum with his father. But it is just the opposite now, the father who looks so aggressively trying to bully Gibran.
"Papa .." rebukes Maria because Rayan did not also remove her eyes from her husband.
Rayan snorted and clucked. "Come in." He opened the rear passenger door, guiding Mary with great care.
Afterwards Rayan spun around occupying the seat next to Maria. Last he glanced at Gibran triumphantly. Intentions wanted to make his son-in-law upset, but Gibran even flatly returned his gaze.
Damn, even Rayan himself was upset.
The car left the hospital yard. Gibran stared at the departure of his wife and in-laws before entering the car after Nick opened the door. The two quickly followed splitting the densely sloping streets in the morning.
Several times Nick glanced at Gibran through the rearview mirror, the man seemed quiet since yesterday. I don't know if there's anything Nick doesn't know.
They arrived at Tjandra's residence. Maria who originally wanted to approach Gibran was immediately brought into the house by her father.
Maria looked back, her husband had just gotten out of the car, and their gazes met for a while before Maria straightened her head forward because she had to focus on her steps.
Maria was delivered to the room by Rayan. But until minutes later he never found Gibran following.
"You rest, yeah. If there's anything call the waiter. Papa's going to the office first."
Mary let her father go.
"Where's the store going?" I don't know who he was muttering to.
Instead of the Gibran she met, Mary's eyes glared at who had just opened the door. A wide smile greeted Maria in a stupor.
"Laura? You ..."
"Mrs ...!!!" Laura ran to the bed and was about to hug Maria if she did not stop the girl immediately.
Laura scowled, but then understood after Maria explained. "Your actions can make me sick."
Laura's face turned sad. His eyes glazed over looking at Maria's right hand that was gnashed. "Jeez Madam .. forgive me. Hiks, why can Madam be like this .. This must be because I am not next to Madam. No one is looking after the Madam as well as I am ..."
Maria grimaces. If Gibran heard it was certain the girl would be kicked back out of Jakarta.
"For a long time no see, but once met the state of the Madam is very sad. What have you done to not be able to protect the Madam?" Laura sobbed while grumbling a little. He grumbled indistinctly. Must've cursed Gibran. Only he dared to do that.
"It's a disaster, Laura. It's not anyone's fault, especially Koko. You don't talk carelessly, yeah."
"By the way, how did you get here? Or are you taking the initiative yourself?"
Laura siphoned her snot tight. He wiped his cheeks and the corners of his flooded eyes. "Pilot sir picked me up at the mansion, with Jill and Dean."
"Jill ...? Ah, yes."
Gibran did have time to express his intention to assign the two female bodyguards.
"Then, where are they now?"
"Good morning, Madam."
Laura did not need to answer because the two of them instantly appeared in the doorway. Apparently they have been there since.
The two tough women approached and bowed in greeting. Gosh, did they learn high-level manners? Why is his attitude always this my attitude?
"Well .. as you can see, I'm like this, hehe."
Maria was awkward herself. Trust me, dealing with quiet, stiff people is not easy. He often felt wrong in front of them.
"Where are you guys going? Long time no news?"
"We are running on fieldwork from Mister," replied Jill short.
"Ah, field ..."
Geez, it's like a child of SMK. Or maybe they actually occupy a position in the company that requires him to work outside? For example, reviewing a project. Ah, that's ridiculous.
But come to think of it, a bodyguard includes field workers or not, huh? I don't know, they usually come from government or private institutions.
"Did you see my husband? Why hasn't he been in since, huh?"
Laura who had shrunk her tears and blinked. "So I saw Master leaving again after a short time Madam entered."
Maria demands more explanation. But Laura could only explain that.
"I don't know the reason. All I see is that Mr. is gone after Mrs comes in with Mr. Tjandra."
Maria turned to look at Jill and the silent Dean said nothing. That means what Laura said was right. But where did Gibran go? They just got home. And again, the man may not say goodbye. At least he should talk to his wife who just came home from this hospital, right?
Jill and Dean part out, while Laura asks Maria's wishes. "Mrs wants to eat something? Let me prepare."
"Ah .. I don't know. You just peel the fruit."
"fruits? Well, then I'm going to kitchen—"
"Eh, wait!"
Laura turned back.
"I want tiramisu."
Laura thought for a moment. "Well, I'll ask the kitchen first, yeah. If there's nothing I ask the chef to make it."
Maria nodded. "Thank you."
"Together, Madam."
Mary stood up after Laura. He walked up to the window and shifted the balcony door. The yard of the house is quite beautiful even though it is not as cool as Gibran's house in the middle of nowhere.
He looked down trying to look towards the lobby, but apparently the view he got was not broad. Maria can't be sure if Gibran's car is still there or if it's gone Laura said.
"Where's the store, anyway? How could he leave while his wife was this sick? At least he said first, cake." Maria grumbling.
While elsewhere Gibran is on his way with Nick. Nick glanced at the man for a moment. "Is it okay for us to go? Master left Madam like that, she must be angry."
Gibran looked at the street beside him. "I've put strict security in place. You take it easy."
"It's not a security issue" ringis Nick. "But your relationship. At least you have to say goodbye, right?"
Gibran. "How can I tell if the old man is driving me away like a goat? I can't even kiss my wife."
Nick grimaced again. "Since yesterday's fire, it looks like you turned into an obedient daughter-in-law?"
Whether it's a quip or a question. Both of them must have upset Gibran.
