His Purpose

His Purpose
180. Finally: The Real Family

Gibran stared at the vast expanse of grass greeting his eyes. In the distance, Maria is taking their daughter to relax in a pine garden that a few months ago Maria planted as a form of strange cravings first in early pregnancy.

The pines are still small, it may take a few more years to get taller. Even so, the facilities for lazing there are complete, including gazebos and sofas that Maria is currently sitting with the little one who is breastfeeding.

Gibran smiled, he turned his head up the hill not far from the mansion. The diamond palace of Sandra Willis is clearly sparkling. Gibran did not want Maria to move to Switzerland as they had promised in the past.

Maria agreed, she welcomed Gibran's decision to accompany her mother in her final resting place, even Mary considers this as their devotion because Sandra has played a big role in the peaceful life of her second small family.

Gibran looked down at a book in his hand. Book with orange and blue gradations under the title Elegi Dusk by Gibran Wiranata. Loading about the journey of Aaron and Maria's love until a fatal accident separates them from the twilight of the first child.

This book Gibran accidentally took back from the library since he knew Maria was happy to spend time there. Maria was also close to reading this book, but Gibran moved quickly to hide it.

It was thought to get rid of the historic book, but Gibran did not do it because when rethink this book is quite valuable and impressive. After all, Mary had remembered all their pasts, no one should worry Gibran if Mary had read the book.

The sound of the helicopter slowly descending drew the attention of Gibran and Maria in the park. The helicopter landed on Gibran's private runway.

A strong wind blew the trees around the mansion. Gibran immediately turned around to leave the balcony as soon as he saw Roman and his father-in-law descending, followed by Gabriel who helped Abhimanyu occupy a wheelchair.

Gibran approached them after arriving downstairs and then stepped wide towards the runway. While Mary quickly ended her breastfeeding to the little one.

"Harley!" mary exclaimed at Harley who stood not far from the garden.

Harley ran over. "I, Mistress?"

"Please take Sandra inside, okay? You'll just love Laura or Martha, it's time for her to take a bath." Maria handed over Sandra which Harley immediately accepted carefully.

While he was rushing to welcome the arrival of the family. Right, they're all family. Maria was grateful for the various events of the past and brought wisdom that strengthened the relationship of the five men.

Everything must have its silver lining. Maria commented a shady smile staring at the afternoon sky above. God knows best how to bring light after dark. After all the trials that befell her life, Mary now finds a bright path to happiness.

Harley looked down at the 2-month-old baby in her arms. He was stunned for a moment to observe a tiny face that blinked innocently with brilliant eyes.

Her eyelashes are pliable and long, her cheeks are round and seem so smooth. The surface is very white with a natural pink hue.

Well-favoured.

Unknowingly Harley smiled touching the softness of her small and pointed nose. Harley's smile grew wider as the baby squirmed with his mouth open as if laughing. Her innocent gums had not been overgrown with teeth made an anxious Harley want to kiss her.

"Sandra's name always symbolizes beauty. You're so small, but you've made me fall in love."

Cup.

Harley slowly kissed Sandra's round cheeks before continuing to enter the mansion.

His heart warmed with a strong heart pounding. No, this must be just an enthusiastic feeling because Sandra is so cute and adorable.

Harley fell in love with the innocence and purity of the baby.

***

Gabriel and Roman have just returned from Sandra's tomb on the hill. Both of them immediately fought for the attention of Alisandra who was at that time in Gibran's seat in the middle room.

Finally, outraged by his second behavior, Gibran rose to keep the princess away from Uncle and his childish great-grandfather.

Maria nodded feeling funny. His attention suddenly fell on Abhimanyu who was sitting pensively on the edge of the window. The man has been avoiding the crowd ever since.

Her death was still the same as the last Maria remembered 2 months ago. Empty and empty. Could it be that the departure of Mom Sandra had a big effect on Papa Abhi's sudden change to be quiet and shy? Or did he think of his leg being permanently paralyzed by a doctor? Or the company building that exploded and crumbled flat with the ground became the heaviest burden to eliminate all his spirit?

But, somehow Mary felt the first reason was the most appropriate. Might as well. Mary is not so sure either.

"Ko" called Mary to Gibran, who was busy cuddling Alisandra, and occasionally opened her eyes to Roman and Gabriel whenever the two men approached.

Gibran raised an eyebrow as if asking 'what'.

"Sandra let me be the same. Oh yeah, take them all to the dining room, dinner's ready she said."

Gibran loosened his arms as soon as Maria took over the princess. He nodded, then separated Roman and Gabriel who were still fighting and arguing. Gibran pushed his back to the dining room as Maria suggested.

Maria shook her head as she chuckled. He dyed Sandra's fine hair that smelled of baby shampoo, then turned to step foot into a quiet side corridor because it was a little indented into the inside.

He was standing right beside Abhimanyu who was still unaware of his existence. Right, that guy is daydreaming.

Slowly Mary leaned over to keep Sandra in the lap of the in-laws until Abhi jumped down and immediately looked down. Reflexes carried her hands around Sandra's tiny body as the baby continued to move erratically.

Maria chuckles. "It's Grandpa, Honey ..."

Abhi looked at the old grandson who was now silent with eyes winking innocently at him.

"Sandra ..." murmured Abhi.

I don't know which Sandra Abhi meant. His gaze dimmed as his head lowered in Alisandra's forehead.

Maria smile. "Why are you here yourself? Let's have dinner? Koko asked Koki to make Papa's favorite rice pudding, you know."

Abhi keeps face away from Alisandra. He looked fixedly at the grandson who now seemed to be twitching his thumb while blinking back to look at Abhi.

If Sandra were still alive, would her child have been born a boy or a girl?

Abhi gulped. Why is Sandra so selfish about taking their son away. Any more?

If they were just separated from the country, now Abhi doesn't even know where to see Sandra.

Why can't we ever be happy, Sandra?

"Papa?"

Abhi flinched, he pulled back his tears that were involuntarily about to come out. Abhi looked up at Maria while raising an eyebrow.

"Come?" ask Maria for a few times.

Abhi was completely dissolved in his own mind. The in-law finally nodded and let Maria push her wheelchair away from there. While Alisandra was so calm she was timang.
