"Cococo?" Mary's smile was glistened as Gibran appeared to open his eyes.
He clasped Gibran's hand, which was not attached to the infusion, staring expectantly at the husband who was now beginning to take his consciousness.
"Finally you woke up too ..."
Gibran flickered softly, his eyes slightly glancing around the room. "Where?" whispers raspy.
"Hospital. Last night Koko passed out. But thank goodness nothing happened." Maria tried to smile.
Silent. Gibran.
"Why are you crying?"
Mary stuttered her own wet eyes. "A-Ah .. This? Regularly, waking up must be a lot of eye shit."
"I evaporated" continued Maria.
Gibran did not continue. She knew Mary was lying. His body moved trying to lift his back from the bed, but it was prevented by Maria who immediately told Gibran to lie still.
"Stores don't move much first, yeah. We wait for the doctor to check."
Gibran clucked, but he complied and remained still in place. Maria offered a glass of water that Gibran immediately drank. Being unconscious for several hours left the man thirsty.
Moments later Nick walks in with the doctor and nurse. Unmitigated, five doctors at once brought to the room Gibran, even the Director of the hospital itself participated and saluted one of the heirs of the Wiranata.
Gibran slightly gawked in place, "What the hell is this?" he muttered without sound.
Nick approached, then bowed for a moment before then allowing the doctors to begin examining the superior.
A series of checks Gibran passed while holding back his annoyance, as well as a number of questions that he was actually very lazy to answer.
Maria who realized the husband's arrogance kept a smile. On several occasions he touched and rubbed Gibran's shoulder to channel a little calm.
The doctors took a few steps back. Each of them grasped the examination records and began to explain one by one about Gibran's condition, ended by the director who now smiled looking satisfied.
"Thankfully, from the results of our examination Mr. Gibran's current condition can be said to have improved. But wait two more days to get home, okay?"
"Thank God .." sighed Mary relieved. He lowered his head to throw a smile at Gibran, combing his hair without bothering to hide his pleasure.
His attenuation was back at the five doctors up front. "But, Doc. Things like yesterday won't happen again, will they?" There was anxiety in Mary's voice.
"For that we cannot be sure, because this condition is usually spontaneous when the patient encounters something that makes him feel excessive trauma or anxiety. You could ask his personal doctor, maybe?"
Spontaneous Maria threw her gaze at Gibran. The one who was stared at actually threw away face pretending to talk to Nick.
"That means, it's not the first time, huh?" Mary looked back at the doctor.
The doctor nodded, "You can be sure of that."
Gibran cleared his throat, "It's over, right? I want to rest. Please come out."
Gibran's expulsion was disrespectful, but the doctors could do nothing because Gibran was a VVIP patient.
Maria grimaces shame. He apologized and thanked me sincerely. The doctors were escorted out by Nick. Either Gibran's assistant was about to discuss what with them, which Maria saw Nick take the doctor who was the director of the hospital somewhere.
Mary looked again at Gibran. The husband closed his eyes with one hand resting on his forehead.
"Why don't I know this?"
Silent. Gibran made no sound, but Mary knew she was not sleeping.
"The doctor said it wasn't the first time."
Gibran is still faithfully silent.
"How often does Koko experience it?"
Still no answer. Unable to stand Gibran's attitude, Maria forcefully pulled the man's arm which closed the forehead. "Coko, answer. How often does Koko get sick like this?"
Gibran opened his eyes slowly. That's when their views met. Maria fell a little complacent as the man grabbed her hand and took her for a kiss.
The touch was very smooth. His eyes did not look at Maria. A moment both of them fell silent and drifted away in silence.
Then Gibran said, "Not as often as you think."
"But this isn't the first or second time, is it?" Maria whispers.
Gibran did not answer. That means Maria's guess is correct.
"I think it's important I'm okay, right?" Gibran raised an eyebrow.
"I'm hungry" Gibran continued, diverting the conversation.
Maria looked up at the nightstand. "There's soup, porridge, same boiled vegetables. Koko wants?"
"Yes, anyway. Yeah already, I'm a bribe, huh?"
"Hem." Gibran.
Maria began to feed Gibran after previously adjusting the height of the bed. Actually the man could eat alone, but Maria insisted because she said it could make Gibran tired.
Secretly Gibran snorted amusedly at Maria's opinion. Some people are tired just from eating.
After breakfast Maria helped Gibran take the medicine that the nurse had previously delivered. Now the man was able to rest back in peace.
Gibran grabbed Maria's wrist who had been seen serving her while she had not eaten herself. "You should eat too. Call Nick or Laura. Get them to order food for you."
Maria looked down lethargic. How can he eat? Seeing Gibran's pale face alone he had difficulty swallowing water.
Knowing what Maria was thinking, Gibran also faintly clucked. "At least eat something."
"Where's your phone?" Gibran raised his hand.
"Make what?" Maria asked, but she handed her phone to Gibran.
The man did not answer, only his fingers were busy typing something. Gibran handed back his phone.
"I've asked Nick to bring me a meal. To hurry up."
He meant if he asked Laura for a long time. Know for yourself the habits of the waiter how.
Maria ate the breakfast that Nick brought, it was on Gibran's orders. Though Mary herself was very lazy because her tongue suddenly felt bland.
Throughout the day Maria was able to breathe a sigh of relief as Gibran appeared to be fine. At least until noon, before Gibran said that he would be out for an important meeting.
The man hurriedly put on his formal suit as usual. Regardless of the sharp gaze that Maria placed on him.
Maria had just returned from the outside when she found Gibran well-dressed.
"Where are you going?"
"I have a meeting today. You wait here, or you just go back to the hotel, okay?"
Maria remained silent.
"Shop for a meeting? At a time like this?" tanyanya could not believe it.
Gibran looked up, "Why?"
Mary's eyes were closed trying to be patient. He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. His hands clenched on both sides of the body.
"Coko realized no, anyway? Koko is still sick! May want to meet at a time when the condition is still not recovered."
"This is an important meeting."
"Koko's health doesn't matter, does it?" reply Maria intense.
"I'm doing fine. Nothing will happen" Gibran said lightly, then continued to button up his shirt.
Maria gritted her teeth with a breath of breath. He threw the magazine off the coffee table and floated over Gibran.
The man turned his head and fell silent to Maria's anger.
"It's easy for Koko to say that."
"Don't Koko know what I'm worried about?"
"I almost died seeing Koko almost dying last night! Doesn't Koko realize my fear? I'm afraid! I'm afraid Koko is okay! I didn't even drink all night! I can't even enjoy my breakfast very well! But now Koko is acting like this? Koko easily ignores the doctor's orders and prefers to attend important meetings."
Maria rubbed her watery eyes rough. He gulped softly with his body trembling with anger.
"I was so scared when Koko didn't wake up." Maria gulped.
"I can't even sleep because I keep thinking bad thoughts."
Gibran stared at Maria. The woman seemed to be overwhelmed by speech because of the sedu sedan that released her mouth.
"Saking afraid I can't even stop checking Koko's pulse. I-I .. I .. hiks .. I'm afraid that I'm sleeping Koko ... Koko has—"
Maria could not continue her words. He ran out leaving Gibran pensive with a blank look on the floor.
The man was surprised by Maria's statement. He didn't expect Maria to suffer when she fainted last night.
Gibran gulped. He slightly squeezed his chest before then plopping himself down on the sofa. His breathing was long stifled while leaning there.
Gibran closed his eyes. And then the shadow of Mary's tear-filled face dominated her mind.
