His Purpose

His Purpose
62. Bad Offers

Maria grunts. Hail with love, he said. How did Mary do it if Gibran alone was indifferent to her.

"Coko's going out of town? Any more? Where to?" ask Maria streak.

Maria doesn't know when exactly the man came home from work, but it's still lunchtime.

"Eat already?"

Instead of answering, Gibran threw another question at Maria.

'Actuality,' hissed Mary in the heart.

"No," heck.

"Eat first."

Gibran got up from the couch where he was sitting with Mary, turned to the chair and threw his body there.

"Where are the shops going out of town? Why is Koko leaving so often, anyway?"

"Business meeting."

"Koko's money has been a lot, why do you still have to work that hard?"

Gibran sighed, "It's not just about money, but consistency."

"You won't understand" he continued.

"Yes but I want to come too" said Maria.

"Coko keeps going here and there, from one place to another. While me? I almost never stepped on the asphalt."

Maria hissed annoyed at Gibran who seemed to focus on a map that contained nothing, without even caring about Mary.

Look, love from where? He didn't even listen to me. Koko will only be noisy when she wants to. Laura is the one who knows.

"I'm coming" said Maria again.

Still no response.

"I'm going for a walk."

"I'll come anyway. Let me have Laura get everything ready." Maria hurried to her feet intending to get out of Gibran's study.

But Gibran's emphatic rejection made him quit.

"can't. You're home."

Maria looked at Gibran with a furious look. "Why did Koko call me here and tell me about this?"

"Why does Koko always tell me to stay home? I'm tired of knowing! Koko would like to fly around the world and lock me up here like a prisoner. If you do not want to invite, at least do not need to say. Usually, too, right? Koko never told me that she wanted to go."

Gibran kept his pen slowly, then looked up, focusing his eyes on Maria who was standing in a veil of annoyance.

Reading glasses were still perched on her nose, making Maria almost slip on the spot because she thought Gibran was too charismatic to wear it.

Jesus, focus Maria. You're getting upset.

"Why are you even looking at me? Answer, why can't I come?" mary asked nervously.

"You will be my burden."

"W-What?"

"You always disappear, and it's a hassle."

Maria gaped, but then she stuttered. "I-I promise it won't be a hassle. Besides, we can take Jill and Dean with me for a walk. If Laura can come along, too."

"Can't." Gibran again read the file on the desk.

"Nority ..."

"I promise I won't interfere with Koko's work." Maria persuaded.

"I will also help Koko in preparing. Wouldn't it be easier if I came? Koko wouldn't be troubled if she was in a hurry."

"I'm always on time."

"Either that. Since Koko is always on time, it would be best if I was there to prepare everything Koko needs."

Maria took a breath, finally she made an unexpected offer. You could say it was a reflex that Maria herself had not expected. "Yes, we make love every night."

Gibran's movements stopped, the man was glued with his eyes focused on the paper.

Aware of what she said, Maria immediately smothered her mouth to condemn the mistake that had just happened. God, why does his mouth have to be so sassy? Is he fighting with the brain?

"A-Anu, I mean ... N-No, not like that. That ... Anu ..."

"Deal," Gibran said suddenly.

"We've been there a week" he added.

Mary glared, her mouth wide open at Gibran's approval. Death him. Only Mary would hope that Gibran did not catch his words clearly, the man had already preceded by unilateral confirmation.

"Ko-Koko misheard. That's .. I mean—"

"You can't make up words. Learn consistently," cut Gibran, cold.

Maria screamed small with her lips tightly shut. He bit his nails feeling restless and sorry, why should he say such a stupid thing.

If it was like this, it was impossible for him to correct his words.

***

"Damn, shit, shit! Why am I so stupid? Jeez .. how is this ..."

Mary continued to walk back and forth in the room, her mouth not ceasing to curse with a deep frown. Laura who was preparing clothes only glanced at a glance.

"The lady's unconscious, huh? Madam is often turned stupid in front of Mister," said Laura lazily.

"What did you say? I'm stupid?" Maria did not accept it.

"Lha, the Madam herself admitted it earlier," Laura timpal said.

"You-" Maria did not continue. He chose to think about his fate that was threatened for the next week.

Make love every night? Jesus, is Maria crazy?

Instead of going for a walk, he will instead be confined to a room because he is busy resting the body. Given Gibran's endless stamina when having sex, Maria is sure she won't have time to heal like the original plan.

"Aishh .. This is the same as lying."

Traces a few days ago still felt, how will he have to serve Gibran every day?

"Oh, my goodness ..." Maria grabbed her hair with a look of almost crying.

He sat on the edge of the bed lethargic and limp. His gaze was blankly staring at the pink fur carpet tickling the soles of his feet.

By the way he had moved again to the third floor room, exactly two days ago his room was renovated. And now he was getting closer to Gibran because their room was on the same floor.

Realizing it made Maria scream in restraint, her feet snapped a sigh.

"Mrs, do I need to prepare lingerie?"

It was nothing, Laura knew Maria always slept wearing it even though the outside was covered in robes again.

Mary thought for a moment. Lingerie is the most comfortable nightwear for her. But, considering he was going to be with Gibran there, it didn't seem like a good choice.

"no need. Bring me an ordinary dress" Maria said.

But she didn't know Laura was still Laura. The girl was not always a submissive let alone regarding things like this.

In the afternoon the Gibran helicopter that will take them to the airport landed in the backyard. Jill, Dean, and Laura accompany Maria.

Not a bit of noraknya, Laura made Maria grimace many times to see the girl's behavior is embarrassing.

"Shop, which airport is this?" maria asked as they were about to board Gibran's private jet.

Gibran did not answer, nor did Nick who was faithful shut up when stared at by him.

Maria took a breath. Again he felt Gibran was keeping this a secret from him.

Maria sat separately with Laura as well as her 2 bodyguards. He and Gibran are in a special room consisting of a living area and a medium-sized bed.

Suddenly his body was cold. Gibran wouldn't attack him here, would he?
