CHAPTER 46. YOU IT?

Mr. Brian is being treated at a hospital in London. Instead of improving, his health was getting worse. Mr. Brian wants to visit Nancy's family in St. Ives. Richard was just a beard. His mind was already drifting about what to do. There was a feeling of guilt about his cold attitude towards his Papa all along. It seems he has to lower his ego a little bit. It cannot be the constant attitude and speech that causes his Papa to think.

Richard asked Hugo's doctor for permission to leave the hospital and would take Mr. Brian to St. Ives, because that was what Mr. Brian wanted at this time. Dr Hugo also allowed.

"Richard! Since when did you come?" an old man emerged from the house. That's Uncle Justin. They both hugged. Uncle Justin let go of his arms when he saw someone sitting in a wheelchair on his porch.

"Why did he come here?!" ask Justin sharply.

Not yet Richard answered, Mr. Brian forward turning his wheelchair to get closer to his former brother-in-law.

"Sister, I want to apologize" said Mr. Brian wistfully.

"Alvin, you go to the room first" Justin said. Alvin nodded obediently.

"Richard! Tell him! It's too late! After decades, he remembers apologizing? Is it because he has already got his payback?!" Justin was emotionally looking at the person he had hated all this time.

"Sister, I was wrong! I'm guilty of Nancy, to all of you. I'm sorry!" Mr. Brian was crying.

"Stop! You don't deserve to come into my house! Nancy suffered a lot because of you!" Shouted Justin.

"I'll make up for all my past mistakes! I'll give Richard the best possible future!"

"Sup to you! But Nancy will never be able to return to this world!" Justin held back his tears. He loved his sister very much. She felt she could not accept that Nancy used to be treated like a worthless woman after much of her sacrifice.

"Richard, take your Papa away! I don't want to see her again!" Justin pushed Richard through the door. Then, no matter what, the door closed hard.

"Sister! Let me see Nancy's grave one last time! My age won't be long! I want you to die, let me be buried near Nancy's grave!" Mr. Brian sobbed, as if he were not a man of honor. It was in front of Nancy's family, nothing more than a B*j*ngan who had ruined Nancy's bright future. All of Nancy's sacrifices were not appreciated by Brian at all.

Richard looked at his father like that. With tears in his eyes, Richard took his father back to the car.
