(SEASON 2) CHAPTER 73. RONALD'S FREEDOM DAY
7 Years later ....
Ronald breathed. He tries to be patient. Hendrik, the senior in the prison, poured his drinking water on the plate Ronald was eating. Just contact it, the rice is inundated with water like vegetable sauce. Hendrik laughed with satisfaction. Ronald's patience has run out all along. The man must be taught a lesson so as not to arbitrarily go to another prisoner.
Ronald stood up and approached Hendrik. The collar of Hendrik's shirt.

"Dissolve! Disband! Disperse!" hardik the prison guard. The prison guards dispersed the crowd who saw Ronald fight Hendrik.
"You! Come with me quickly!" said the Wardrobe Guard.
Ronaldpun followed the footstep of the Prisoner. Again he was taken to the Lapas Head room.
"Come in! Sit down!" said the Field Chief.
"Today is your day of freedom. You have completed your prison term. After getting out of here I hope you become a better person. And don't ever come back here.You understand what I mean?" said the Lapas Chief.
"Understood, Sir! God willing, I won't be here anymore" Ronald replied.
"Here he took his stuff!" the Chief of Staff orders the officer who escorted Ronald.
"Good, Sir!"
"I'm sorry, sir! Thank you for the construction carried out by the Prisoner during this time," said Ronald invited the Head of the Prison to shake hands. They also shake hands as a farewell to the Head of Prison and the former residents of Lapas.
Ronald was ushered into a storage room when Ronald was first taken into custody. Ronald took off his prisoner's clothes by changing his t-shirt. A backpack containing several pieces of clothing, a cellphone, and a wallet was taken.
"If you want to say goodbye to your friends, go to the side of the building" the guard said
Ronald shakes hands with the guard. Ronaldpun walked to the side of the building. From the side fence can be seen friends inmates who are in their respective cells.
Ronald waved to them. Those who saw Ronald, returned a wave of Ronald's hand. Hendrik was seen clenching his fists at Ronald. Ronald smiled cynically.
"Thankfully, I was free. If I were still here, I don't know what would happen" Ronald murmured.
Ronaldpun came out of prison with a mind between believing and not. If only he were not ashamed, he wanted to shout with joy. After a long time, he was finally able to breathe free air.
Armed with the money he had from the practice of repairing cars, he intended to go home to his apartment. During his time in Lapas, he had indeed picked up the skills of the workshop. With the guidance of a professional teacher in his field, he now has the skills to fix cars and motorcycles. Ronald plans to open a workshop. Because the company has been bankrupt since it was left in bui. The sale of the company's assets can be completed well with the help of Geri, his loyal former assistant. Before returning to the apartment, Ronald wanted to see his office which now belonged to someone else. It's just a small company, the rest of which is inherited from Papa Brian. But Ronald built it with hard work and struggle.
He shed tears seeing the office which has now become a freight forwarding service office. Now there is nothing left to inherit from Papa Brain or Grandpa Edwin. But fortunately Ronald still had an apartment, for where he lived, the result of setting aside the results of his efforts to build his grandfather's business first.
Ronald on the way remembered something. He has not told Erika about her freedom. Ronald must meet Mila and Richard, to ask for permission to meet Erika. "If their son, Erika, does he move too?"

"Oh, deservedly, they never contacted me or saw me again" Ronald said.
"May I ask for their phone number?" ask Ronald.
"sorry. We were assigned just to guard this house. Other matters, we are not allowed to interfere" the security guard said.
"alright. This is my new phone number, because my old phone number has been forfeited. I hope you will give it to Mr. Richard or Mr. Mila, if they come to Jakarta" Ronald wrote down his cell phone number on a piece of paper and then gave it to the security guard.
"I hope so much, you don't forget. Because it's about our family relationship" Ronald said. Of course the security guard didn't know Ronald. Because the security guard who knew Ronald had stopped working there because of his advanced age.
"Well, I'll tell you later" said the security guard.
Long story short, 13 years later Ronald built a workshop and and sold motor parts from the proceeds of selling his apartment. In addition to opening a workshop business, he also bought a simple house for his residence and the rest is saved for any time there is an urgent need.
His life on this new page he spent just to work. At the age of 55 years, Ronald did not intend to marry again. That's how he punishes himself. His treatment first to Mila, made him overwhelmed with feelings of guilt. He wants to make amends by doing good to those who need his help. Especially when she saw a woman who was treated by her husband KDRT. She will intervene to help the woman by reporting to the authorities so that the woman is free from the torment of her husband.
Or also if he sees people who are oppressed by the family of that person, Ronald will help help him not to be treated arbitrarily again. That's Ronald's way of making amends for Mila. He does not want anyone like himself anymore, who treats women or wives arbitrarily.
The years keep changing. His workshop business is growing. Ronald now has an employee who helps him in the workshop.
But there was no sign that Richard or Mila had contacted him. Ronald misses Erika. Considering he has a child, which makes him survive and try the spirit of living this life. He wanted to see and hug his daughter who had not seen him for a long time.
"Lord .. Let me meet my daughter. I miss my daughter. I don't want that until I die before I meet my daughter" Ronald does every day.
Years later .....
Do'a Ronald granted God, after years of waiting, Ronald gets a call from an unknown number. After being lifted, Ronald felt shocked.

"Guilipinam,"
"Sorry who is this?" ask Ronald.
"It's me. Mila."
"Mila! How are you?" peekik Ronald's.
"good. How's yours?"
"I'm good too."
"Look, just go ahead. In two days I will be going to Jakarta with Erika. He wants to meet you. He has graduated from S1. He is 24 years old now. He was assigned by his father to help the company in Jakarta. So, Erika will move to Jakarta," Mila said.
"Oh, really? Erika can meet me directly or need me to pick up maybe to the airport?" asked Ronald enthusiastically.
"No need to pick up. I'll take Erika to your house. But he won't stay with you. We told him to stay in the old house. But he can visit you once in a while" explained Mila.
Ronald felt lethargic. He thought Erika would stay with him.
"alright. I'm going to Sherloc my home so Erika can meet me right away" Ronald said.
