If Tomorrow Never Come

If Tomorrow Never Come
Chapters 18. Personal assistant

Galuh walked quickly out of the mall cafeteria. He wanted to go away and get away from the man. Right now all he needs is a soundproof room, a beach, or a high cliff. A place where he can shout as loud as he can, kick as hard as he can, hit as hard as he can, and cursing as much as possible to channel his emotions without anyone seeing him.

“Basic rese, boss unclear!” Galuh grumbled as he continued to walk out of the mall building.

Tiin tiin's!

“Wait Galuh, I need to talk to you!” Reza lowered his car glass and shouted to Galuh who continued to walk despite seeing him. “Please listen to my explanation first!”

He looked back and turned his face again quickly. Haish! Reza turned the steering wheel of his car, blocked Galuh's steps and stopped right in front of him. Inevitably Galuh stopped his steps and waited for Reza to get out of his car.

“Come in, we're talking in the car.” Reza walks around his car, touches Galuh's shoulder gently and prevents him from getting into his car.

I doubt for a moment. But, when he looked at the man's face again, something prompted him to comply with Reza's wishes. Giving the man a chance to explain to him what his question meant in the mall cafeteria.

“Sorry, if my previous words made you uncomfortable. I do not intend to deliberately, lure personal information for the sake of sheer pleasure. I have a strong reason to ask like that,” Reza said after they were in the car.

“I want to know everything about you, to the smallest extent. Because we will continue to meet and be together every day, full time! I need you to be a personal assistant who can continue to be beside me, who always accompany my days and will always be there for me at all times.”

“I?” Galuh gasp, “I became a personal assistant Tuan?”

Reza nodded and then smiled. “You don't need to rush to answer it now, you can think about it these few days. But I'm hoping you'll accept my offer.”

“Why should I? I'm just a regular girl, just a saleswoman at this mall. There are not so many beautiful, smart women out there who have all the high criteria to be a personal assistant as you want. You can open job vacancies, and I am sure many will come and accept with pleasure this job offer.”

“I don't want anyone else. I want You!”

Galuh furrowed his eyebrows, at length he revealed the reason but Reza still did not want to hear his words. Galuh pinched his temple, trying to digest Reza's words. Full time every day, like a real companion. Is that the reason Reza asked about the word ‘married’ to him earlier? Always be ready when needed. What kind of personal assistant does this man mean?

It never crossed his mind that he would cooperate with the man, considering their several meetings that always ended in anger on Galuh's side. Nothing yet Galuh already felt uncomfortable. Being Reza's personal assistant meant he had to lose his freedom. Caged every day with a rese boss who likes to play orders at will. Oh No!

Galuh sighed deeply, “Sorry, Dear Mr. Reza. I can't fulfill your offer. We recommend that you find someone more suitable to be your personal assistant. Thank you!”

The disappointed Murat was clearly visible on Reza's face, but Galuh remained on his decision. He got out of Reza's car and stepped quickly away from the man's sight. Galuh slipped among the pedestrians who happened to pass nearby, then hid near the door of a store, waiting for a moment until Reza's car passed from there.

Galuh breathed a sigh of relief, he stepped out from his hiding and half ran he waved his hand when he saw the angkot with his destination number passing in front of him and stopped at the end of the road.

Checiite!

“Arrggh!” Galuh surprised and kontan screamed loudly while closing his eyes tightly.

Galuh did not expect suddenly from the gap of a narrow alley of a shophouse not far from where he stood at that time, a biker appeared who drove his vehicle at high speed. He almost got hit if only the rider was not fast braking the speed of the motorbike.

Galuh's knees went limp for a moment, he stood with trembling legs. His face pias and his shoulders withered suddenly. His heart was beating faster and his palms were sweating as well.

Prosecutor! The long bag strap that was slung on his shoulder just slipped off and fell on his leg making him jump, shocked for the second time.

In a hurry, the biker parked his motorcycle on the side of the road, then removed the full face helmet he was wearing. He walked around and rushed closer to Galuh. “Yes God! Ma'am, Ma'am gapapa?”

Galuh just glanced over, not caring about the man's question to her, she crouched down and immediately picked up her fallen bag then opened the row and checked the contents.

“Yeah,” he said in a limp tone when reaching into his bag and found his phone cracked on the front of his screen. “New also buy,” complained Galuh staring sadly at his phone. He put it back in his bag and stood up.

The Angkot in front was still waiting for him with a honk, but Galuh shook his hand. “Contact so, Sir. Just stay!” galuh shouted, making the angkot driver rushed forward his car again, passed leaving a successful puff of exhaust fumes made Galuh coughing.

“Mbaknya gapapa? There's a wound, isn't there? Sorry, I was in a hurry to leave because there was important business. Directly plug the gas do not see if there mbaknya through just now.” The voice of the man nearby distracted Galuh, making him recall the incident he had just experienced earlier. Because of this man, he almost got hurt and his phone was also damaged.

Galuh tightened his teeth, preparing to reprimand the man for speeding on the public road and almost making other road users hurt by his actions. “For you to speed, my phone is broken. Elbow arm I also bruised, nudity handlebar motor You!”

Galuh holding his arm that felt pained, he looked up to lift his face to look at the man who was standing firmly in front of him. “I want you to take responsibility and replace me hp ..”

The deg! Galuh could not continue his words, his voice as if stuck in the throat. For a moment he could only dumbly stare at the figure before him who was staring at him with a worried face.

The face of the man before him reminded Galuh of the figure of Hong Du Sik in the Korean drama Hometown Cha Cha Cha Cha which he watched. Her facial skin was pure white, the dimples near her lips looked deep and looked adorable.

The man's hand rested his head hair backwards, some falling and dangling on the forehead. He wears a leather jacket that wraps around his strapping body. The man slightly lowered his face as he spoke to her. Galuh realized, he had to raise his face because the man in front of him had a height above average.

“I will be responsible for the mistakes I have made. We go to the hospital to treat the wound on your arm now, and after that I'll replace your broken phone.” The man pointed his index finger at the bag on Galuh's shoulder.

“Not that you said you were in a hurry, anyway I can treat my own wounds. No need to go to the hospital either. Later compressed ice at home is also better,” reject Galuh, which makes the man in front of him raise one eyebrow.

“It wasn't you just who told me I had to take responsibility ..”

“No need to go to the hospital I mean,” cut Galuh fast.

“Keep your phone how?”

“If it is, you still have to take responsibility!” Galuh folds his hands on his chest. “No need to buy new. The important thing is that my phone is back to kayak again, it is enough.”

The man smiled faintly, “Wait a minute!” he said then, then called someone. “OK Deal! Now we go.”

“Eh, what does this mean?” Galuh was confused when the man grabbed his hand and led him towards his motorbike. He opened the trunk and took the helmet from inside, and put it on Galuh's head. The man told Galuh to get on his bonnet before he started the engine.

“I'm Kevin, and you?” kevin asked shortly after he put his bike on.

“Galuh Nanda,” answered Galuh half yelled because a strong gust of wind made their voices inaudible.

“Noah Nanda, nice to meet you!”
