The adem and ayem household is a depiction of the Pandu and Ervita households. By adding their children, they are even more compact to nurture Indi and Irene. Also, with Pandu who looks more and more Ayahable when able to take his two children at once.
That is what happens now when Ervita is packing batik that is sold online. So in the Pendopo, Pandu held Irene in his hand, and there was Indi sitting on his lap. Really looks a Daddyable figure. Even Ervita was laughing when she saw her husband.
"Cool deh Yayah," he said.
"Feel sultan yah, Nda," Pandu replied.
Pandu feels to be the luckiest man in the world because he is surrounded by beautiful women in his own home. There's Ervita, Indi, and Irene.
"Especially if the children are adults yes, Yah ... seems to be the Sultan," replied Ervita.
Pandu then nodded his head. "When Indi and Irene grow up, what about us?"
"Lha, why Dad?" ask Ervita again.
"Usually, when the children are getting older. There may be Indi and Irene who will study outside the city, or even some who work outside the city. In fact, it could be that our children get a distant soul mate," he replied.
Apparently what Pandu is worried about is when his children are old, and then he can choose to study outside the city, even get a distant soul mate. Presumably, Pandu had thought that far. Ervita smiled instead.
"If you have a daughter like this anyway, Mas. Someday our children will grow up, so there are times when we will age, pull over. Letting the children pursue their dreams, even edited by another man," Ervita replied.
"I want to enjoy the glory days of being a father first, Nda. Before Indi and Irene get bigger, and maybe they'll go to college outside the city. As long as the children are young, I will always pour out my love for my children" Pandu said.
Ervita smiled again. "Your father is you, my mother," replied Ervita.
"Yes, I hope it always does, Nda. Having girls is harder, Nda. I have to take good care of him. Don't let anything bad happen. I want to deliver Indi and Irene highly educated, able to achieve his goals. His father will work hard to push the bones to send Indi and Irene to school," said Pandu.
"Your ideals are so noble, Jayah. May God hear our prayers and hopes. We can send Indi and Irene as high as possible. The mother is just a high school graduate, it's okay. The important thing is that his children must be more successful than his mother" he replied.
Yes, Ervita herself looked to herself who was just a high school graduate. Actually she had felt like a student for several semesters, but all ran aground when she became pregnant out of wedlock and was then kicked out of the house. No more opportunities to pursue goals.
