Banana Kolak
Starting the first iftar in Ramadan fasting this time, Ervita was ready to make a takjil that had previously been ordered by her husband, namely Kolak. Kolak is a typical Indonesian food made from Aren Sugar or Javanese Sugar, Santan, and Pandan Leaves. Kolak itself can contain Banana, Ketela, Kolang-kaling, or Cassava. Has a sweet and savory taste, so Kolak is often used as a menu item.
Now, Ervita makes Banana and Kolak-Kaling for her husband. The fragrance of Aren Sugar cooked with Pandan Leaves filled the entire kitchen belongs to Ervita. Until Indi asked what the Mother was making now.
"What the hell is it, Nda? It's so fragrant. It's delicious, Nda," said Indi by smelling and inhaling deeply the aroma of the compote.
