Over the next few days, Jason posted a message on Facebook, saying that he was going to visit Kikan's house. And talk to him during the game.
Jason tells Rey that he convinced Kikan to go to the blue lake for the weekend. That it would be fun. That Kikan could take advantage of that opportunity to make friends. That in life there is more to it than caring for his mother and building a business. Rey even listened to some of their conversations, as she was the one who drove Kikan to watch Jason's game. But from what he heard that day, and what Jason said afterwards, Kikan always gave the same answer. He says he can't fit in with Rey's friends.
On Friday morning Rey seemed uninspired, hoping to stay home alone. Devan says he has a list of women who want to queue up to date Rey. But Rey doesn't even want to see them. The only reason that keeps him away is because he doesn't want to disappoint his friends. After all, this is his party and he also wants to meet his best friend Simon who has not been in this city for a long time.
The woman Devan invited to Rey had already arrived when he arrived. Her name is Sindy Davinka, and she's as pretty as Devan promised. He seems to be good too. He smiles cheerfully when they are introduced, and almost instantly pulls Rey to sit next to him.
But once Simon, Sindy and Devan's dating partner, a woman named Samantha, begin to curry favor with the model. Rey knew the weekend would be boring.

Rey's gift was delivered on Friday afternoon. Kikan opened it to make sure the item was as good in its real form as it looked on the computer, and was thrilled to see it was even better. As soon as he felt he could put money aside again, he planned to order the same book for his bracelets.
Hoping to hand over the book before Rey leaves for the cottage, Kikan rushes to her mother's place to borrow a cell phone and calls Jason.
Because Miss Lis was sitting at the table while glancing towards her. "He doesn't deserve that, doesn't deserve anything." Mother says. Kikan turned his head when his son answered the phone and let down the voice.
" Jason?"
" Hi Mom, what's wrong?"
" I wonder if your father is still home?"
" Papa left for the midday cottage. Wh why? Mom changed her mind about going there? If it's true, I can give you the address. Because Papa left his address to Tristan's parents.
This whole week Kikan thought about going there, and almost gave up. It felt as if it was safe, as soon as Jason started trying to persuade him. But there was always her mother who reminded her how stupid she would be if she trusted Rey again. Kikan couldn't imagine the man being attracted to her, not seriously. His mother must be right.
" I haven't changed my mind" she told Jason. "I just. I have a little present for her birthday and hope to give it this afternoon, that's all."
" Mom can take the gift to the cottage. Papa would be happy if mom came."
Once again, Kikan almost gave in to the temptation. Maybe he'd given up if his mother hadn't eavesdropped on their conversation. "I can't bother him with his friends. I'll just wait until he gets home" Kikan said.
But after the phone closes, Jason calls again and urges Kikan to take down the address of the cottage. For some reason, his son actually wanted Kikan to leave, Kikan walked back to his mother's house and called the car rental to ask if he could rent a car to drive her.
Maybe he was crazy, blind as his mother said. But when looking around his home trailer and seeing what the outcome of 'seeking safe' looks like all the time, Kikan realizes that fear can imprison someone just as much as iron bars in prison.
Kikan decides to break free and attends Rey's party.

The cottage turned out to be a fairly large villa. The spacious building is very beautiful, made of wood, stone and glass. Wood is the only element that makes it resemble a cottage. A place like this cannot be called "simple".
" Cool" said the driver, whistling.
They could not see everything, not on the part that was not exposed to the light in front. It took a long time to find transportation until now it was night, almost 22:00.
The driver rebuked him. "Miss?"
Kikan frowned. It's not too late to go back. He could ask the driver to drive him home.
" Is something wrong?" ask the man hesitantly.
" Yes, hmmm, sorry I changed plans at the last minute, but I decided to go back."
" Get back again?"
Kikan. "It's okay, right?"
" I'm sorry, but I have another passenger after this" the driver said. "I can barely get there in time."
" Oh!" kikan did not consider the possibility that the driver could not drive him, even if he paid even higher for the return trip.
The driver stretched his hands. "I'm sure you'll be happy here."
Kikan then got out of the car. Damnit. He's not part of this place, he shouldn't have come.
The driver handed him the worn out suitcase that Kikan borrowed from his mother and thanked her when Kikan gave him a tip. Then the driver left him standing on the front steps of Simon's cabin. One of the best-selling advertising stars and models in the country.
It's as if Rey's existence here hasn't been scary enough.
"I really got hit by the stone this time." Kikan looked around, wondering if there was still another way to go, but the narrow winding road he had been through was rarely passed by vehicles. He has no other choice. And he obviously couldn't have gotten on the bus.
In other words, he was trapped.
While exhaling a deep breath, Kikan shook his head. "Bas stupid." Obviously, he cares more about Rey than he wants to admit. Otherwise, it would be impossible for him to willingly place himself in this terrible position, with or without bringing gifts.
Anyway, he's already here. There was nothing he could do but make the most of the situation.
Kikan climbed three steps to the door while carrying a suitcase, then crossed the large entrance area still while carrying it because the suitcase was not wheeled like most of the latest production suitcases this year.
After sitting down, he stood there for a moment, then rang the bell.
Simon opened the door. Kikan felt his tongue so faint that he could barely speak.
" So." The man looked surprised but smiled amiably.
" Hey, I, hmm, I'm here for Rey's party. She. she invited me."
Simon's eyebrows shot up as if he was very surprised, and Kikan could understand why. Kikan was so different from the others who would be present here. And Rey may not have mentioned anything about her. That guy had no reason to do it.
It was fortunate that Simon did not hesitate before opening the door wider. "That's great. The more people the more festive," he said. "Let's go in. We're all in the back."
