It felt so rash to carry the suitcase into this house, but Kikan could not leave it outside. And once again he was lucky because Simon took it before he did. "Let me bring it," said the man.

Kikan wasn't sure if he needed to comment on the man's popularity. Should he praise Simon about his career?

He said it would be a polite act. Kikan commented, "This place is beautiful."

"Thank you." Simon turned his head as if something was wrong with Kikan, but he expected a reaction like that, so he was not offended.

"I'm sorry to bother everyone this late" he said. "I can't leave early."

"No problem." Simon put the suitcase in the entrance room. "We'll leave your suitcase here first. My wife will show you a room soon. Before that, let's go enjoy the grilled corn with the others."

Kikan was grateful Simon was being so polite. "That sounds delicious," he said. But he is afraid he will choke if he tries to eat something before he can control his nerves.

"That's right here."

Simon walked ahead of him through several large spaces that were certainly decorated by professionals. Kikan tried not to stare in amazement, but he had never seen such a luxurious house. Or maybe luxury is not the right word. The house does not look excessive, but rather quality.

In the living room there is a large painting and a glass wall facing the outside terrace. Kikan could see a large group of people gathered. But he didn't recognize them all. He did not dare to make eye contact with anyone for fear that the person would look back at him with horror and disgust. Because if that's the case, he had no choice but to walk out when Simon opened the door and drove him.

"Rey, there's more to wish you a happy birthday." Simon had to raise his voice to overcome the excitement of the atmosphere but, one by one, Rey's guests turned their faces and fell silent.

The sight made Kikan slightly nauseous, as though Rey had deliberately made a cruel joke by inviting him here.

Where did he misinterpret it? when Rey asks Kikan to come, who says it as if there will be a lot of people, a pretty big party. Kikan thought there would be a couple. Many of Rey's friends are married. But he doesn't know that Rey and Devan are going to bring a date. No wonder Simon didn't know what to say about the bed arrangement. " Kikan!" Rey stood up so quickly that she almost dropped the blonde woman on the floor.

Rey feels the weight of Kikan's gift in her hand and hopes to pull the woman aside and soothe her and thank her for coming. But with the date standing next to him, who seemed as shocked as everyone else due to the sudden appearance of this disturbance, his actions would be considered disrespectful. The only way to ease Kikan's embarrassment was to draw everyone's attention to him by opening the gift. "It feels heavy" he said. "I can't imagine what it is."

Rey hopes to receive the bracelet, having once almost ordered one many times. But this gift is too heavy, too big.

Everyone moved closer as Rey tore through the wrapping paper, just as curious as she was to see what Kikan was carrying. They had heard so many stories about Kikan that some of them came from Rey herself. All this time, Rey believed Kikan to be guilty. Not because he had bad intentions or wanted to harm the woman, but to justify his actions to keep Kikan away from him and Jason.

Now he hopes to maintain a good relationship with Kikan. Or at least approach it to some degree. He realized now that breaking up with Kikan was very detrimental to him as well as the woman. If anything becomes clear in his eyes now is he is very grateful to be able to meet Kikan both first and now.
