"Just a second!" Ainsley said as someone rang the doorbell.
When Ainsley opened the door, Kaivan was standing at the door of his house.
"Kai, are you here, son?" Ask Ainsley kindly. He already considers Kai his son.
"Yes, Ma. Where's allula?" Kai wobbly looking for the whereabouts of his wife.
"Alula is in her room. Come inside!" Ainsley seemed to understand Kai was looking for Alula.
"Where's the room, Ma?" Kai asked confusedly. He had just entered his wife's parents' house for the first time.
"Alula's room is upstairs. You just go up. Mama wants to help Daisy cook first. Sure you're hungry, right?"
Kai just nodded, before long Ainsley immediately went to the kitchen.
Kai climbed up the stairs of Alula's house with a sense that was so raging in his heart. He really wanted to hug his wife and apologize for all the misunderstandings that occurred.
Kai opened the door to Alula's room slowly. He saw his wife standing looking at the snow from the window of his room.
"What's up, Ma?" Alula asked without looking. He thought the one who entered the room was his mother.
Without warning, Kai immediately hugged Alula's body from behind. He hugged Alula's body tightly.
Alula looked at the hand that was coiled around her waist. He knew it was Kai's arm.
"Would you like to come here?" Alula releases Kai's arm from his waist.
"Of course to meet my wife" replied Kai softly.
"For what? To curse me again with a cheap word?" Alula's tears were dripping down her cheeks. He is still very hurt by the accusations Kai has accused him of.
"I'm sorry! I've mistaken you, "Kai was about to reach into Alula's face to wipe away her tears. But Alula pulled her body back. Alula wiped her tears with her flick arm.
Kai looked at Alula's neck. There were so many red marks that he put up last night. Kai's eyes stopped on Alula's wrists, which flushed the scars of her hand last night. Kai reflexively held that arm.
"I'm sorry! Last night I really got out of control," he heard a heavy voice. Kai really felt guilty.
"Don't touch me!" Rintih Alula while flicking Kai's arm from his arm.
"Get out!" Send Alula to her husband.
"I don't want to go out."
"Get out! I beg!" Alula pushes on Kai's body and tries to get the man out of his room.
As the situation heated up, Ainsley opened the door without knocking.
"Sorry, I just wanted to say that dinner is ready" Ainsley shut the door when she saw her son and Kai in the middle of the storm.
"If you don't want to go out, let me go out" Alula picked up her scarf and rushed out of the room.
Kai immediately changed his work clothes with a pajama shirt that he carried in his bag. he did intend to follow Alula here. After changing clothes, Kai followed Alula downstairs.
"It turns out there's my son-in-law here. Let's eat together!" Halbert said as she saw Kai walking towards the dining table. Kai sits himself in the dining chair next to Alula.
"Well, did you just come home?" Alula asked as Halbert was still wearing her work clothes.
"Yes, Al. Papa must attend a mandatory seminar held by the ministry of education. After dinner papa and mama had to go to the city of Manchester for a meeting to discuss the improvement of the quality of the university we taught" explained Halbert.
"Well, so after this you're gone?" Alula feels disappointed because she has to be alone with Kai in this house.
"It's okay" said Alula.
Kai started eating his dinner and listening to his wife and in-laws talk.
"Darling, why do you wear a scarf when you eat like this?" Ainsley was astonished that Alula was wearing a scarf while eating.
Kai who heard it immediately choked and coughed.
"Kai, are you okay?" Halbert panicked.
"Get your husband some water, Al!" Ainsley's orders to Alula.
Alula rolled her eyeballs and she picked up the glass that was already filled with water.
"Now!" Alula said with a pacifier.
"Help me to drink it" Kai looked at Alula sitting next to him. Alula helps Kai to drink.
Halbert and Ainsley seemed to smile at the affection of the child and his daughter-in-law.
"So, why are you wearing a scarf at dinner?" Ainsley asked back when Kai and Alula had already started eating her food again.
"Al's cold, ma. Mama knows that Al is not strong cold," said Alula while eating food on her plate.
"Oh yes, Al. Is there a sign that your mother will have grandchildren?" Ainsley.
"Yes, how, Al? Papa wants to hold a grandchild soon" Halbert added.
Alula looked at her mother and father in turn. He saw a look of hope in the eyes of his parents.
"Just calm down, Ma. Hopefully soon Kai will give you a grandchild" Kai replied, smiling sweetly.
Alula immediately remembered the events of last night, when Kai took his chastity. He recalled the words that Kai had uttered to him.
"What if I'm pregnant? I remember when Kai's father told Kai to divorce me," Alula stared at the plate.
"Ma, Mum. Alula was full. Alula went up first to the room huh," Alula suddenly had no appetite as she recalled her in-laws conversation with Kai.
"Why eat a little? You'll be sick later," worries Kai.
"Later if I'm hungry, I eat again. Well then, Al goes up first to the room huh ma, pa?"
"Yes, honey. After the meal we would pack up and leave," replied Halbert.
Alula nodded and immediately went upstairs. Kai only noticed Alula who passed by leaving him.
"Kai, what exactly are you and Alula?" Ainley looked curious.
"There's only a small problem, Ma."
"Easy! Don't interfere in their business, honey! They can solve their own problems. Alula and Kai are all grown up" Halbert told Ainsley.
"alright. I'm sorry, Kai!"
"It's okay, Ma. It's only natural for you to worry about Alula" Kai smiled sincerely.
