"Sir, what's wrong?" Ed asked, Kai's business partner who saw the crowd.

"Ah, there's nothing. Mr. Kai's wife came to surprise me. Don't you?" Nino covered the real situation. Kai was silent.

"You're having a birthday, sir?" Ask Ed then.

"Yes" replied Kai briefly.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I don't know. Happy birthday to you, sir!" Ed greets Kai because he thinks Kai really has a birthday today.

"Thank you," Kai forced his smile even though his entire body felt very sick from the blow from his wife.

"Miss, introduce me Ed," Ed extended his hand to Alula. Alula shook Ed's hand.

"Then I have to go now. There's an impromptu agenda, so I have to go home soon" Ed said goodbye.

"Oh yes, heart on the way, sir!" Nino shook Ed's hand before he left.

"I hope our cooperation brings success to our company together" Kai smiled and shook Ed's hand before they parted ways.

"Yes. Thanks for the meeting. Then I go, "Ed took his foot out of the club with his secretary.

"Kai?" Alden approached his friend with a guilty look and a fearful look. Kai just looked at her sharply.

"Let's go home!" Kai clasped Alula's hand towards the car park and immediately drove his car to get out of there.

"You anyway!" Nino punched Alden's hand slowly.

"Yes sorry! I think Kai is having an affair. Last time our old friend took pictures of Kai with Andrea, so I immediately brought Alula here. To make Kai aware of what he's doing" Alden explained.

"I know your intentions are good, but next time it's better to investigate further" Nino advised.

"And try to apologize to Kai!" Nino.

"Yes. If that's for sure I do, but wait 2 or 3 days. You'll be able to guess her reaction if I forcefully apologize now."

"All right, let's get out of here!" Nino walked out of the club. Alden followed him from behind.

Alula and Kai were in the car on their way home.

"Darling?" Alula turned to her husband who was driving. Kai did not answer his wife's call.

"Dear, I'm sorry! I've been wrong. I was just jealous and afraid that you were actually cheating on me," Alula still stared at her driving husband.

Kai again did not answer everything he said.

"Kai? I'm really sorry" Alula pinched her lower lip because Kai never reacted.

"Darling, I'll quit my job tomorrow" Alula still lures Kai to talk. Kai still didn't budge. His mouth seemed to be locked tightly to talk to his wife.

Alula gave up, and then she stared at the street from the windshield. Before long, Kai's car broke into the yard. Without waiting for Alula to get down, Kai immediately got out of the car and went straight into the house.

"It seems like she's really angry," Alula exhaled slowly. Then she got out of the car to catch up with her husband.

"Darling, where have you been? Bi Esther said you went with Alden?" Sofia immediately asked a question as her son-in-law walked into the house.

"Why isn't Kai waiting for you? Tumben once?" Sofia was surprised that Kai first entered her room without waiting for Alula.

Alula shook her head slowly. Sofia knows that her son and daughter-in-law are having problems.

"That's your husband!" Sofia's orders to Alula.

"Alula come in first, Mom," Alula immediately walked towards her room.

When Alula enters, she sees Kai bare-chested. Alula could see clearly her husband's body was reddish due to the blow of the baseball bat earlier.

"Dear, I'm sorry!" Alula hugged her husband's body from behind.

Kai remained silent. Kai let go of Alula's hand and immediately went outside. Before long, Kai went back into the room with a rag and a small basin filled with warm water. Kai immediately wiped away the wounds on his body.

"Darling, let me compress it!" Alula was about to take the lap from Kai's hand, but Kai immediately dodged and continued compressing his own body.

Before long, Kai immediately put on his pajamas and lay his body on the mattress and turned off the lights. A thread of tears began to pour out from Alula's eyes as Kai ignored her from earlier. Alula slid her body beside Kai. Kai immediately turned his back on his wife.

"Darling, I'd rather you get mad at me, even go berserk than you silence me like this!" Alula hugged and sobbed on her husband's back.

Kai who heard Alula crying immediately turned his body.

"Why don't you trust me if I won't betray you?" Ask Kai firmly.

"I'm just afraid you're turning away from me. I don't want to share you with anyone" Alula sobbed.

"Well? You're thinking too far. Ever since I had feelings for you, I've never seen anyone but you" Kai clucked softly.

Alula felt hurt when she heard her husband call her name.

"I'm just scared" Alula replied later.

"Why don't you trust me? For you I have relieved Andrea of her duties as my personal secretary. I am willing to do it, even if later I have difficulty in my work, I will do anything for your convenience. And you beat me in front of everyone. Al, I'm your husband. I also need your respect. You stepped on my pride earlier. Fortunately, Mr. Ed did not see it. Imagine if he saw!" Steady Kai with a voice so disappointed.

"I don't believe it, I'm just afraid."

"You don't believe me, so you just acted like that" Kai said.

"So much to you, Al. I'd better sleep in the other room instead" Kai immediately got up from the bed and walked out of the room. Alula who saw Kai coming out of the room tightened her crying.

At one o'clock in the night Kai went back into the room. He saw Alula sleeping in a curled up position. Kai immediately enveloped Alula's body, then he laid his body beside Alula. Kai watched his wife's face. He kissed the face and hugged his body tightly.

"Darling, I left the room because I didn't want to argue any further with you. I'm afraid to lose control and say words that hurt your feelings. I just want you not to act like you were. Your behavior at the club really stepped on my pride as your husband" Kai muttered and hugged Alula's body more tightly.
