Forced to Marry Alula

Forced to Marry Alula
Farewell Part II

This afternoon, Alula returned to the house she was staying with Kai. Alula had to pack all her clothes and belongings. Aunt May weeps for Alula when she finds out she's leaving. Alula didn't tell her destination city to Aunt May.

"Aunt will miss you, Miss!" Aunt May cried and hugged Alula. They hugged each other long enough.

"Auntie take care of your health! Take care of this house! Alula will always remember aunt," Alula let go of her embrace. He immediately went into the room to clean up all the items he would bring.

At exactly 7:00 PM, Kai entered the house that he had been living in for seven months with his wife. Aunt May was crying in the living room on the first floor. Kai was astonished to see Aunt May cry.

"Where is he?" Kai did not mention his wife's name.

"Miss in her room, sir."

Kai immediately went up to the second floor to his room and Alula. As he was in the doorway, Kai saw Alula standing in front of the window. Kai turned his gaze toward the large suitcase and large bag belonging to his wife.

"What's wrong?" Kai still asked coldly.

Alula turned her body. Slowly she walked to her husband.

"What did you tell me to come here?" Kai raised his voice.

"I want to say goodbye to you" Alula smiled. As much as possible, he could hold his tears to not fall.

"Where are you going?" Kai looked at Alula's face. His wife's eyes looked swollen and reddened.

"I'm going to get out of this town. I'll obey you. You won't see me back in this town."

"What do you mean?" Kai walked over to Alula with a huffed face.

"Didn't you tell me to go?" Alula's eyes began to glaze back.

Kai was silent at his wife's reply.

"I just wanted to say goodbye to you. I return this," Alula kept her two cards and her cell phone Kai gave her on the nightstand.

"Regarding our divorce, my mother will take care of it. Take good care of yourself!" Alula immediately ransacked the suitcase and was about to pass from there.

When Alula is about to pick up the bag, Kai blocks her arm and pushes Alula until she is squeezed into the wall. Kai cages his wife with his arms, a habit he often does jiga they are fighting.

"Why? Why did you hurt Daddy?" Kai's eyes turned red withstanding the crying.

"If you hadn't harmed my father, I would never have let you go" he added.

"I'm tired of saying that I didn't hurt your father. Even if I give the strongest defense, you won't believe me," the clear liquid seeped back in Alula's eyes. He had already held back from crying back, but Alula really could not help but cry anymore.

"If you weren't the last person Daddy's ever met, maybe I'd believe you" Kai stared intently at Alula.

"Then what do you want?"

"I am what you did!!" Shouts of Kai filled the ceiling of the room.

"alright. Yes, I did hurt your father. I'm the one who tried to kill him. Are you satisfied now??" Alula shouted back.

Kai fell silent. He looked at his wife's face.

"Why? Why did you do it?" Kai's lips seemed to shake.

"Because your father didn't approve of our marriage," Alula lied back.

Alula looked back at Kai with sadness for a few minutes. Suddenly Alula poked her arm around Kai's neck and tiptoed to kiss her husband's lips.

Alula buried her lips on Kai's lips. He closed his eyes, tears were still pouring down Alula's face. Kai felt Alula's lips shake. The tears that broke on his wife's face made Kai's lips taste salty. Kai closed his eyes and tears flowed from his eyes.

"This is our wedding ring. I don't deserve to wear it anymore. Goodbye bye!" Alula took her hand off Kai's neck and removed the wedding ring in her fingers and gave the ring to Kai's arm. Alula started to step away and took her bag and suitcase.

Kai just stood still and stood where he stood. He did not chase after his wife who had passed from the room. Kai stared blankly at the wall in front of him. His arms seemed to be clenching Alula's wedding ring.

"Adrrghhhh!!!" Kai yelled and threw all the stuff in the room.

****

Alula walked out of the house with a very sick heart. At least he had realized that defending Kai would be very futile. He can no longer live with people who don't believe in him.

Alula immediately intercepts a taxi passing through the Boston Villages housing estate.

"Halte bus front sir!" Alula told the taxi driver. He will indeed leave the city of Birmingham with ushered by Cleon and Chelsea. They agreed at a bus stop near the Boston Villages.

Arriving at the bus stop, Alula immediately sat on the stop seat by bending her knees. Alula took something from the pocket of the coat she was wearing.

"Let this necklace be mine! There's at least something I can remember about you," Alula stared at Kai's necklace with a K pendant that had broken off after Kai pulled the necklace roughly from her neck.

"Al, have you been a long time?" Chelsea got out of the car followed by Cleon.

Cleon looked at Alula's face filled with tears. He immediately approached Alula and wiped the tears with his hand. Chelsea just looked at them, there was no jealousy in his heart because he understood the current state of Alula.

"Let's go in!" Order Soft Cleon. He took Alula's bag and suitcase and put it in the trunk of the car.

"Al, do you want to sit in front?" Chelsea opened the car door next to the driver.

"No, I'm just behind."

"I will accompany you to sit in the back," said Chelsea with a look of compassion to see the state of his best friend.

"You just sit in front of Chel! I was sitting by myself" Alula immediately got into Cleon's car. He sits in the back seat. Chelsea and Cleon immediately entered and sat his body in front.

The car left the bus stop.

"Cleon, we're going to York City" Alula almost muttered in the car. He looks to be leaning his head.

"Aren't we going to Surrey county?" Chelsea asked in surprise.

"I didn't go there. I'm less close to my mom and grandpa. I just want to go to York City, to my father's house when I was a child. Papa had called my grandparents this afternoon," said Alula back.

"All right," Cleon immediately drove his car to York City which would take 4 hours.

There was no conversation between them in the car. Cleon was driving, Chelsea was already asleep in her seat, while Alula stared at the car glass to see the scenery outside. However, her heart and mind are still left behind in the city of Birmingham, a city full of memories with her husband.

Cleon occasionally stared at Alula from the rearview mirror.

"Al, if only I hadn't promised Chelsea to forget you and learn to love her, maybe now I would have fought back to win your heart. I will accept your situation even if you are pregnant with another man's child. I will take care of the child like my own. I can't forget you completely. But I'm a man, I have to keep my promise to Chelsea. If I hadn't promised that day, today would have been the day I've been waiting for where you parted with Kai" Cleon murmured.

Cleon immediately played music to drive away the desolate inside the car. The first song that Adele performed was Hello. After the song ended, Lewis Capaldi's song Before You Go played on Cleon's car tape.

"I fell by the way side like everyone else,

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you but I was just kidding myself. Our every moment I start to replace, cause I know that they're gone, all I hear are the words that I need to say. When you hurt under the surface, like troubled water running cold. Well, time can heal but this won't," there's Lewis Capaldi's voice ringing in Alula's ear.

Tears fell back from his eyes. Alula recalls the beginning of the wedding, Alula said that this song would be her farewell song to Kai. And now she is separated from her husband.

"Song translation: I failed like everyone else, I hated you but I only lied to myself. Every moment we'll start replacing it because now it's gone, all I hear are the words I need to say. When you're hurt from the inside, it's like murky water rushing through. Yes, time can heal but not this one."
