She Should Marry You

Alula got out of the taxi and walked straight to her yard. Alula immediately entered the house after retrieving the key from inside the bag.

Alula went straight into her room. Then mcharger his lowbat phone. Then lay his body on the bed and looked up at the sky of the room.

"I wish I'd never see Alfin again" Alula spoke to herself. His body is still wrapped in Kai's sweater.

"Aluaaaaa !!!" someone was heard calling Alula from the 1st floor. Alula immediately stood up and went down to see who had entered her house.

"Mama, Papa?" alula said when she saw that Halbert and Ainsley had gone home.

"Say today my mom and dad have a seminar? But why did it come back?" ask Alula.

Halbert and Ainsley did not answer Alula's question. The faces of his parents were usually unkind.

"What's wrong?" Alula scrunched her forehead in wonder.

"You're still asking us why?" Ainsley shouted to Alula.

"Why is mom snapping at Al?"

"Aren't you watching and reading today's news?" halbert asked with a sharp look.

Alula just shook her head.

"Look at this !" Ainsley gave her cell phone to Alula.

Alula saw what was on her mother's cell phone. Alula was so gasped when she saw the news about her and Kai that there was a picture of them there. Seen a photo of Kai who is bare-chested and is pushing half his body, while Alula's hands are coiled around the neck of his enemy bubuyuutan.

"We didn't expect out there your behavior to be so bad" Halbert said furiously.

"It's not what you see. It wasn't like that" Alula shook her head and started crying.

"You lied to us?" Ainsley looked beaveringly at her daughter.

"Papa said you can't do that before you get married. You know how our teachings have been to you !" snapped Halbert.

"We feel like we're failing to educate and become your parents," looks like a tear from Ainsley's eye.

Alula's heart ached hearing her mother's words.

"I really didn't do anything like that" Alula shook her head while crying.

"Call your lover to face papa !" halbert's orders were harsh.

"He's not my girlfriend, Pa. How can I call him here?" alula replied in a hoarse voice.

"Not your boyfriend? Why were you at her apartment last night?" shouted Halbert.

Alula was terrified to see her father angry like that.

"Then, if Alula manages to bring him here, what will you do?" Alula asked herself.

"She should marry you !" shouted Halbert.

Alula rounded her eyes hearing what her father had said.

"Alula doesn't want to marry her !" Alula was hardening her cries.

"You realize ! Now your name is being discussed all over the country. If you don't marry her, which man will you be?" tymphal Ainsley. Ainsley and Halbert still hold conservative values in their lives.

"Ma, pa. Alula believes that someone will marry Al. Al doesn't want to marry that man, Alula hates him..." Alula was crying.

"Where is your pride if you don't marry him? Even papa colleagues judge papa and mama can not educate you. We are educators, you should set a good example to the community and your students !" halbert.

Alula looked panicked as her father discussed her students. What would they say about Alula? What should Alula do when she comes to campus?

"Come into your room !" halbert's orders.

"Chel?" exciting Alula. He hugged his best friend while crying.

"Please yourself, Al !" Chelsea rubbed Alula's back. Now Chelsea's shirt looks wet because of Alula's tears.

Alula let go of his embrace. He walked towards the bed and was followed by Chelsea behind him.

"What's the matter, Al? After I read the news on the internet I rushed to your house to hear what was really going on" Chelsea said.

"Chel, I really didn't sleep with Kai" Alula said in tears.

"I know that, Al. You didn't say it, I'm sure you didn't sleep with your disbanded enemies in High School" Chelsea replied. Chelsea knows how Alula and Kai hate each other.

"Tell me everything that happened !" chelsea soft pinta.

"I'm going to dinner tonight with Cleon and then I take a cab to get to the restaurant. However, in the middle of the taxi journey I was riding broke down. And then I walked over to take a taxi, it was so quiet... After I was in front of the gym on Bougenville street someone suddenly cut my mouth open and put me in the car" Alula said.

"Who did it? Is Kai?" Chelsea were wondering what was going on.

"Not, but my ex-boyfriend. He took me to his apartment and tried to harass me, "Alula's chest was tight as she had to tell him about the horrible incident.

Chelsea rubbed Alula's arm to strengthen.

"But Kai helped me back then, Kai happened to see when Alfin drugged me and he followed the son of a bitch's car. I was taken by Kai to his apartment because while in the car I was unconscious. Regarding the photo, I don't know why my position with Kai is like that," Tears increasingly rained down on her cheeks.

"You're sure Kai didn't harass you when you weren't sober?" Chelsea are worried.

"Indeed I don't know why in the photo my position and Kai like that, but I'm sure he didn't harass me. When I woke up, my clothes were intact and my body felt nothing" Alula said.

"Yes, I'm sure Kai won't touch you" Chelsea said.

"But who took your picture? Is there anyone but you there?" ask Chelsea.

"I heard two people in the room last night. Looks like a doctor, because I feel my body being examined. I think last night I was half-conscious because of the anesthetic effect Alfin had on me" Alula said.

"I believe you, Al. Then after this what are you gonna do? Your name and Kai are tainted now, maybe this is big news because Kai was a young businessman on the rise in England for a year. And you're also an educator, so this is a big affair" Chelsea said.

"Papa told me to marry Kai. I don't want Chel," Alula sobbed as she recalled her father's order to marry Kai.

"How can you marry someone who bullies and hurts you so much?" Chelsea looked at Alula iba.

"I don't know. I obviously don't want to marry her,"

"But, Al... I think your papa is right. If you don't get married, your name will always be ugly and....." Chelsea hung up his words

"And what is Chel?" ask Alula.

"And I think you're gonna be laid off by the college where you teach. And after that? I doubt any other university will accept you" Chelsea said cautiously.

"Don't let that happen Chel ! I don't want to lose my job" Alula wiped the tears on her cheek and then she took her cell phone that she was charging.

"Oh my god, I forgot to call Cleon yet" Alula said as she opened her phone.

"Tell him now" Chelsea advised.

"Well," Alula tried calling Cleon but Cleon's phone was off.

"Chel, I have to explain this all to Cleon," Alula squeezed Chelsea's hand.

"You better just come to Cleon's house, Al !" Chelsea gave advice.

Alula looked worried.

"Well, tomorrow I'm going to visit Cleon at his house. Today papa and mama are very angry so I won't be allowed to go out..."
