Sekar Ayu's

Sekar Ayu feels uneasy after getting a call from the courier who delivered the cake to Adi. He walked back and forth in his contract.

"Well, is Mas Adi's address wrong?" muttered Sekar Ayu while looking again at the address given by the person he hired to investigate about Adi.

"I have to prove myself that it's not Mas Adi's house. I'll ask for compensation if it gets really wrong. I've paid them dearly."

"But, if it's the wrong address, I use the same excuse to have a house?" Sekar Ayu seemed to be thinking hard.

This morning he deliberately made a cake for the man after getting Adi's home address. He was sure Adi would love his cake. Fortunately, he had a hobby of cooking so making cakes was not a difficult thing for him. Can't we draw someone's attention and heart through his stomach. He was very confident Adi would appreciate his efforts and slowly be able to accept it again.

However, dreams are not always as beautiful as reality. He was very surprised when he got a call from the courier if Adi's address was wrong. Because he had other business earlier, so he just gave the cake to the courier. After all, it was just a cake that could be made again whenever he wanted.

Sekar Ayu threw himself on the bed after being tired of walking back and forth in the room. He had to devise a careful plan, preparing for everything that would happen. He should not be rash anymore as when in the residence of Mr. Wijaya.

After thinking about what things he planned and would do, Sekar Ayu again remembered the beginning of his meeting with Adi a few years ago.

Sekar Ayu and Adi were teenage mosque activists in their village. They do not live in the same village, but their village is neighboring. Although different villages, they are active in the same large mosque.

Because they meet often, so grow the seeds of love in their hearts. Although Adi never expressed his feelings directly, but he showed his attention to Sekar Ayu. Likewise with Sekar Ayu, also showed his attention to Adi. They both held the same feeling for several years.

They never leave or promise to meet together. They meet while in the mosque or when there are activities related to the youth program of the mosque. Adi's position as chairman and Sekar Ayu as secretary, made the intensity of their meetings more frequent.

After Adi graduated from college, he was immediately accepted to work at one of the largest construction companies in Indonesia. While Sekar Ayu is still finishing college, due to the difference in age of two years. While waiting for Sekar Ayu to graduate from college, Adi collected savings little by little from his salary to prepare to apply for Sekar Ayu. Since Adi was busy working, they rarely met because Adi rarely went home. Not as often as when Adi was in college.

Sekar Ayu is a flower in his village. A lot of guys want to make him a girlfriend or a wife, but he always says he doesn't want to date or get married before college. The position of his parents who are a lurah, makes his family so distinguished. Because it was not just anyone who dared to approach him.

Without Sekar Ayu knowing, his parents betrothed him to Anton, a rich businessman's son in his area. Both of his parents intend to marry Sekar Ayu and Anton after their daughter graduated.

Both her parents wanted Sekar Ayu to marry someone who was already established. They do not want their daughter to suffer if her husband is not an established man. They can be calm if one day they die, Sekar Ayu has lived comfortably without having to work hard.

After Adi found out Sekar Ayu had graduated, he contacted Sekar Ayu. He said he would come to Sekar Ayu's house along with his parents and other family to visit him.

Sekar Ayu who was waiting for Adi to propose, of course, felt very happy. Don't tell me he's er-an ge. The man who came to the woman's house with both parents, if not to propose, for what else, right?

Adi ventured to ask Pak Wijaya to propose to Sekar Ayu. Initially Pak Wijaya refused because he had heard rumors that Sekar Ayu would be betrothed to a rich businessman's son. However, Adi managed to convince Pak Wijaya that Sekar Ayu also had the same feelings as him.

Finally Pak Wijaya agreed to propose to Sekar Ayu. They were a group of one car coming to the house of Sekar Ayu's parents. Mother Hasna's feelings were not good when she got there, because there was absolutely no welcome from the family of the woman like a proposal event.

Pak Wijaya's family group was only found by both parents Sekar Ayu and Sekar Ayu himself. After enough pleasantries, Mr. Wijaya finally expressed the intention of his arrival.

"Pak Gatot, the purpose of our arrival here is to propose to Pak Gatot's daughter named Sekar Ayu for Adi, my eldest son," said Pak Wijaya to Pak Gatot, his father Sekar Ayu.

Mr. Gatot and his wife were surprised to hear what Mr. Wijaya said. With a sense of pride, Mr. Gatot replied to Pak Wijaya's expression.

"Son Adi, where do you work? Do you have anything to propose to Sekar?" Gatot looked at Adi.

"Alhamdulillah, I work in a construction company. I do not have anything, but I have saved up to build a house and others" said Adi calmly.

"Have nothing to propose to Sekar. Do you want to be given what if you get married? Does he have to stay in the contract? Does she also have to do her own housework?" cynical Mr. Gatot.

"Sir" Sekar Ayu protested to his father.

"Oh, you shut up. Let it be answered first with Nak Adi," said Mr. Gatot.

"God willing, slowly, I will fulfill all the wishes of Sekar Ayu. I'll also make a house for us later." Adi tried to keep smiling.

"When that? Can you give me certainty?" cecar Pak Gatot's.

Adi shakes. "I can't promise when, but I will definitely fulfill my promise" Adi replied confidently.

Mr. Gatot smiled cynically at Adi's reply. "Once again, forget it. I've already got me to match Anton. An entrepreneur who can provide a home and all the needs of Sekar without having to wait anymore."

"Sir, don't make it up. Wherever I am betrothed," refuted Sekar Ayu.

Gatot smiled at the princess. "We kept it a secret until their families came to propose next week. So, forget about today's events as if they never happened."

"What does Gatot mean? Want to insult my son and my family?" Mr. Wijaya began to be provoked by emotions.

"Dignores? I'm talking reality. Nak Adi is inappropriate for Sekar Ayu. My daughter only deserves to be with an established man" said Mr. Gatot who became increasingly arrogant.

"If you want to reject our proposal say it directly, there is no need to insult and demean our family, especially Adi." Mr. Wijaya is getting furious with Mr. Gatot.

"Adi, let's go home. There's no point in us sitting here and listening to their insults." Mr. Wijaya stood up from his seat and immediately went out of the house, followed by other family members. Only Adi was still there.

"Congratulations on your match. May you live happily. Goodbye, Sekar." Adi gave his final smile to Sekar Ayu. With his body fixed, he came out of the house of Gatot even though his heart was broken into pieces.

"Mas Adi," call Sekar Ayu with a teary face. He had not expected it to end up like this. Though he always imagined being proposed and married to Adi, the man who had filled his heart for the past few years.

"Strong, do not cry the young man," said Gatot.

"Sir, Mas Adi it's not kere. He's been working, just not yet established," protested Sekar Ayu.

"If it is not yet established it is kere. What do you want to be fed to him? The house does not have one, where do you want to live? Same old man? What's ngekos?" Gatot looked at his daughter.

"Father does not want you to suffer after marriage, Sekar. I've chosen Anton whose future is clear. You will be given a house and a car after marriage. You can also buy nice and expensive clothes. Whatever you want, he'll do."

"But, I don't need any of that, sir," said Sekar Ayu with a face still swollen.

"That's all your need, Sekar. Don't be a hypocrite you also need money that is not small so that your face can continue. You can also be free to go wherever you want. Anton will definitely grant it." Gatot is still convincing his daughter.

"Mr, wicked." Sekar left his parents and went to the room with a face full of tears.

A week later, Anton's family actually came to Gatot's house. Finally inevitably, Sekar Ayu according to the wishes of his parents.

Anton, a handsome young man who is the son of a wealthy businessman. He is currently continuing his father's company. Because his father was old, so sometimes he led meetings or reviewed the company directly.

After the application event, Sekar Ayu was slowly able to accept Anton. Because in addition to being handsome, Anton is also being nice to him. Whatever he wants, Anton always gives it away. Hhmm, which woman does not melt if she gets such treatment.

Three months later, Sekar Ayu married Anton. Sekar Ayu was given a dowry of a house as well as a car in his own name. Of course, Sekar Ayu felt very happy. He begins to plan his future with Anton, and slowly but surely, he forgets Adi.

The wedding of Sekar Ayu and Anton was held in a big way. There are thousands of people invited to remember the position of Mr. Gatot and also Anton's job as an entrepreneur who certainly has a lot of business relations.

The beginning of their marriage was a happy time. Anton even invited Sekar Ayu to honeymoon abroad. Sekar Ayu's life immediately changed drastically after marriage.

Anton often introduces Sekar Ayu to business relations and friends. He also diligently invites Sekar Ayu to go out of town or country for business or just unwind.

Disaster began to occur after one year of their marriage because Sekar Ayu was not yet pregnant. Sekar Ayu has tried various ways so that she can get pregnant. She even went to the doctor to make sure she was a fertile woman.

Repeatedly Anton talks about divorcing Sekar Ayu if she is not also pregnant. Anton's attitude changed a lot, different as at the beginning of their marriage.

Anton often comes home at night and even comes home in the morning. He often insulted and demeaned Sekar Ayu with a sharp speech. He even started playing with his hands. Once Anton also took women home with him.

You can imagine how Sekar Ayu felt. Eventually, she could not stand it and asked for a divorce from her husband. His parents initially disapproved of Sekar Ayu's wishes. However, after seeing how Anton treated Sekar Ayu they finally agreed to Sekar Ayu's wishes.

After a few years he divorced, unexpectedly appeared again Adi's shadow that looked more mature. Slowly the flavor that once existed and buried, began to grow again. This time he was determined to have to get Adi, somehow.

The universe seems to support his wishes. Sekar Ayu never expected to meet Adi again when he was shopping at one of the malls.

She smiled sweetly at Adi. He knew Adi was surprised when he saw his figure. In my heart, Sekar Ayu admired Adi's improved good looks due to her classy-looking clothing style.

Apparently, Sekar Ayu's happiness did not last long. His heart was very broken when he heard the word wife from Adi's mouth. Yes, Adi is married and has a wife. And that makes it even sadder, Adi's wife is very beautiful like a model. It seems Adi's wife is also not a woman from ordinary people.

Sekar Ayu was a little happy when Adi invited him to talk at a famous coffee shop. His regret grew bigger after knowing Adi is now not a kere man like his father used to say. Adi has become as established a man as his father would have liked.

Although Sekar Ayu has told all the problems, but Adi still flinch. Adi had completely closed the door of his heart to Sekar Ayu. But do not call Sekar Ayu if he is a person who gives up easily. He decided to contact his acquaintances who can find people or detectives to find information about Adi.

The Universe again helped him when he saw Adi coming home to Mr. Wijaya's house. Although Adi is with his wife, but he does not care. He just wants to get back with Adi. The first love man says he will not die, no matter how he feels. He also believes Adi feels the same way he feels.

But, again and again, hope is not as beautiful as reality. Even this time it is more bitter because he was expelled from Pak Wijaya's house. He couldn't help but feel emotion as Adi's wife provoked him. His image in the eyes of the Adi family must be getting uglier. But he doesn't care about that.

When Sekar Ayu expressed his intention to return with Adi, his parents refused. They were already ashamed of Pak Wijaya's family. With or without the blessing of his parents, Sekar Ayu will still approach Adi, however.

Thank God for sharing the happy news. Some time ago, I entered a children's short story writing competition organized by one of the publishers.

Alhamdulillah, the children's short story script that I participated passed the selection. And, God willing, will publish a book of children from several authors who passed the selection.

I'll let you know when the book comes out. Who knows there are friends who are interested in buying for their daughter's son & 'Stopped.

At first I wanted to go back and forth, because writing the child's short story was not easy. There must be a moral message in the story that the number of words is very limited. Because I like to challenge myself, I finally round out the determination to come even though I am not too confident. At that time the thought, no matter not winning is important I have tried and tried. Thank God, it turns out my story escaped, it felt unbelievable when I got an email from the organizer until I smiled to myself.
