The emperor immediately went to the location of Restu's arrest from Adi's house. Earlier at Adi's house, he got a call from the head of the raid team, informing him that Restu had been secured. He had deliberately not told this good news because he wanted to see with his own eyes that Restu had been really arrested.

Restu was arrested at a hotel located on the border of Jogja and Central Java. When he was arrested, he escaped. The officer had already given a warning, but he paid no heed. Officers shot him in the leg so he couldn't run. Now in his two legs nestled hot lead, because after being shot once he still remained desperate to run, with the police forced to shoot the other leg.

Officers secured all the items Restu had brought, including his car. A bag containing his clothes and equipment, two devices and a car, were all taken by police to the office where Restu was handling the case. Earlier, Restu received medical treatment to remove hot lead lodged in both legs. He could not walk until he had to be swept away by two officers.

After arriving at the police station, investigators immediately conducted an examination on Restu. When the officer asked if he asked for a lawyer, Restu said there was no need. He'll face it himself. He did not want to trouble his parents to pay for the services of a lawyer who would definitely not be small in value.

The Emperor informed Adi that Restu had been arrested and was currently being interrogated by officers. Arsenio who heard that, could barely contain the emotions of wanting to meet Restu directly to beat him up. But Mr. Lukman and the others managed to stop Arsenio. They've already handed the case to the police so there's no need to intervene anymore. They simply provide the information needed and also monitor the progress of the investigation until the hearing is held until the court decision.

The Emperor accompanied the officers in the investigation of Restu. He had to hold back his emotions as Restu's answers began to convolve.

"What do you do on Sunday June 22, 20xx?" ask investigator.

"I went to my fiancee's house" Restu replied casually.

"Fiancee, to be exact. Don't make it up, "the Emperor quipped in a cynical tone.

"Oh, Mr. Police know," said Restu with a wry smile.

"So what are you doing?" ask the investigator again.

"I went to the house of my former fiance, Adelia, and I followed her and her husband" Restu replied.

"Follow to where? By what?"

"Following them home from Adelia's parents' home, to the Mirota Campus continue to the Syuhada Mosque. I followed with the car."

"Did you enter the Mirota Campus and the Syuhada Mosque?"

"I went to the Mirota Campus, but did not enter the mosque. I'm waiting for them outside in the car."

"Did you hit Brother Adi on the street in front of the Syuhada Mosque?" The investigator looked into Adi's eyes.

"Yes" replied Restu with a smile.

"Why did you hit Brother Adi?"

Restu took a deep breath before answering. "I don't want Adelia to marry another man. Only I can marry him. If I can't get him, then nobody else will either."

"Egoist, once," said the Emperor.

"Love must be selfish or we won't have her" Restu replied with a sly smile.

"Then do you intend to take away Brother Adi's life?"

Restu nodded. "Yes. I'll have to get rid of my barrier to having Adelia."

"Shoppers! Brazen," the Emperor grumbled. He pulled the collar of Restu's shirt with his left hand, while his right hand prepared to punch Restu.

"Kai, hold your emotions. Do not be easily provoked," reprimanded his friend.

The emperor then released his hand. "You can survive this time," the Emperor said as he stared intently at Restu.

Restu smiled cynically at the Emperor.

"Did you do it consciously?" ask investigator.

"of course. Do you think I'm crazy? I am a person who excels in education and work. Don't demean me" replied Restu with a hint of emotion.

"That means you know the consequences of his punishment?"

"Are you sure you killed Brother Adi?"

"of course. I hit him hard and he fell too. There's no way he's still alive" Restu said confidently.

"You are not a God who can just take away human lives" the Emperor said.

"But God is on my side" said Restu.

The emperor laughed mockingly. "It's very self-confidence. Unfortunately, God is on Adi's side."

Restu gasped but then smiled obliquely. "What's? Don't make jokes that aren't funny, sir."

"True, Brother Adi is still alive" said the investigator.

Restu shook his head. "Cannot be. He should be dead. You guys don't lie to me, yeah."

"Why did we lie to you. Be prepared to face your punishment. And don't ever hope to be back with Adelia again because she's happy with Adi" the Emperor said.

"I want a lawyer. I won't speak again until there's a lawyer" Restu said after feeling cornered.

"Hurry up and call your lawyer." One of the investigators gave a phone call to Restu.

"Can you borrow my phone, sir? I don't memorize the number" Restu told the investigator.

A policeman gave a device belonging to Restu.

After calling one of his lawyer acquaintances, Restu was put in a holding cell while waiting for his lawyer to arrive. Both of his parents also visited while bringing clothes and food.

His mother cried to see the state of Restu whose legs were hit by hot lead and could not walk alone. He also deeply regrets the actions of his beloved son. He should have been able to resuscitate Restu since his son broke off his engagement to Adelia. She should have supported her son's marriage to Claudia instead of still expecting Adelia as her son-in-law. Regrets are always late.

After Restu got a lawyer, he was always accompanied during the investigation process. Although he knew the punishment was not light at least he did not get the maximum punishment. While in prison she remembers her son being conceived by Claudia. Although he did not love his wife, he still loved her flesh and blood. In a matter of days, his son will be born.

Meanwhile, Adi continued to monitor the progress of Restu's investigation from the Emperor. His friend always took the time to follow the investigation process in between his free time. He wanted Restu to get the punishment he deserved for his actions.

Adi's health condition is starting to recover. He only has occasional headaches when he's doing a lot of work. Now, he became unable to stand the sunlight while being hot. If he used to be able to spend the day on projects and hot, now only in the morning or afternoon when the sunlight is not so stinging. Adi was in the office more. His assistant is more on the field.

Adi's marriage cover letter which was delayed was finally taken care of by Rendra. Her sister-in-law was really very helpful and reliable although she also had to pay attention to Dita who was pregnant. Never once did Rendra complain even though he knew that his sister-in-law must have felt tired.

Arsenio also occasionally helps Adi when there is no lecture schedule. He will be ready if Adi or Adelia needs his help. Especially accompany Adelia to campus or take care of her wedding needs.

After Restu was arrested and detained, his parents took the time to come to the house of Mr. Lukman. They apologized for the incident that happened to Adi because of Restu. They deeply regretted the incident. In addition, they also asked not to make testimony that aggravated Restu's sentence.

Mr. Lukman also said that he wanted Restu to be punished in accordance with his crimes and regretted all his actions.

Adelia met with psychologists several times to overcome her guilt and fear. Yes, she feels guilty for Adi because she feels as the cause of her husband's woe. Though Adi and his family have repeatedly assured that it is not because of him. But he still felt guilty and always apologized to Adi.

After the Adi accident, Adelia was increasingly afraid to go outside the house, especially when Restu had not been caught. He was more in the room accompanying Adi to rest. If he needs shopping something always ask Arsenio or Dita for help. Really scared to the outside because he felt like he was always being followed. Several times he even deliriously slept.

After several sessions of therapy, slowly he began to accept the situation. In addition, he also had to prepare his mentality to testify at the trial against Restu. Of course he should be ready to meet Restu again with a stable emotional state. He should not be afraid of meeting Restu.

Because of that, Adelia's lecture became a little neglected. The thesis that should be able to finish and be able to file a hearing after the value comes out is delayed. Fortunately, during the final exam of the semester he still wanted to come because it was the same time with Dita and Rendra. Well, although it must be convinced first by everyone, especially Adi.
