This Sunday morning Adi woke up excitedly. Since then, the smile never left his face. Even while washing the car, he was kicking cheerfully. The natural thing is actually considering the wait all this time.
After the dawn prayer, Dita was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast, because Rendra will practice karate at UGM Arena at 07:00 later. So at 06:00 she should have finished preparing breakfast and provisions for her husband.
Not food with rice for breakfast Rendra, just a glass of milk, a piece of sandwich and fruit cut so that the stomach is not empty when karate later. A bottle full of water and a few sandwiches.
After preparing breakfast and her husband's provisions, Dita went to the room to check on Rendra who had prepared karate clothes and their equipment.
"Everything included, Mas?" her question when she saw her husband's backpack was neat on the chair.
"Here you go, honey," replied Rendra who had just come out of the bathroom.
"It's the stock I put in the bag yes, Mas." Dita reopened Rendra's backpack to put her husband's provisions in.
"Yes, Honey. Please arrange it."
"Breakfast first, ma'am, let her stomach empty." Dita finished rearranging the contents of Rendra's backpack.
"Yeah, we're having breakfast." Rendra shrugged his wife's shoulders. They went out of the room to each other to the dining table.
Dita accompanies Rendra to breakfast, but she does not eat.
"Dec," call Adi who just finished washing the car.
"Yes, Mas. What's up?" I looked at Adi.
"Pick me a dress for later, yeah" said Adi.
"Yes, I will choose if Mas Rendra has left" said Dita.
"Darling, help Mas Adi there, I don't eat by myself."
"Eh, no. Nothing, it's still a long time. My priority is now Mas Rendra." Dita smiled sweetly at her husband.
"New breakfast, Ren?" Adi approached them.
"Yes. Mas Adi want breakfast?" ask Rendra back.
"Later on, I'll grab a drink first. Thirsty." Adi heads to the dispenser to grab a drink.
"Mas Adi would like a rich breakfast Mas Rendra or use rice?" tanya Dita after Adi sat in front of her after taking a drink.
"What does Rendra eat?" Adi gawked at his sister-in-law's breakfast.
"Susu, same fruit sandwich."
"Yes, same thing, but I'm not just one sandwich, Dek."
"Yes, what will I do now?" tawar Dita's.
"Later Adek readyin pas Mas shower. I want sweat first."
"Are you ready to meet Adel's parents, Mas?" ask Rendra to her sister-in-law.
"God willing, Rend," Adi answered steadily.
"Eagerness, Mas. May it all be done."
"Aamiinu. Thanks, Rend."
After breakfast, Rendra left for UGM. While Dita helps Adi choose clothes that will be worn to Adelia's house. After that, he made breakfast for his brother.
"Duh, my Mas's handsome. Surely Adel's mother will be more fascinated." Dita praised Adi who was neat with a long-sleeved slimfit shirt light gray with a crate accent dark blue, making Adi look fresher.
"So, could've." Adi smiled broadly at the compliment of his only puppet sister.
"If I wasn't Mas's real sister, I would have had a crush on him."
Adi laughed a little. He sat down and ate the breakfast Dita made.
"Didn't eat anything? I didn't eat the same food as Rendra."
"I make sandwiches while eating, Mom." Dita chuckles.
"Oh, quick. Later Rendra directly home right from the ringgang?"
"God willing, if there is no preoccupation with talking. I want some house."
"So, don't clean the house. Just rest. Surti's already done it all."
"I want to finish the kitchen, Mas. The refrigerator is made more neat. It's also easy to cook."
"Yes, but if you're tired don't force it, Deck. I don't want to be tired because of the kitchen."
"Ready, Mas."
Adi spent her breakfast accompanied by Dita while continuing to chat about many things.
At 08:30 Adi prepared to leave for Adelia's house.
"Mas go first, Dek. Pray for everything." Adi stroked Dita's head.
"Aamiinu. God willing, everything is waged and spit out, Mas. I always pray, Mommy."
Dita kissed Adi's hands and cheeks, and Adi replied by kissing her sister's forehead. Dita hugs Adi to give her support. He also drove his brother to the door.
"Mas depart. Assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabakatuh."
Adi stepped into the car.
"Ganbatte, Oniichan!" yelled Dita while clenching both hands in front of her chest. (Eagerly, Mas!)
Adi smiled broadly at the full support of his sister. "Hi, ganbarimasu." (Yes, I'll be excited)
Adi drove the car out of his house. When he was at home, his feelings were normal. But now, his heart was pounding. He's getting nervous. Sweat began to wash his palms. Finally he tuned the murottal in the car to make his heart calmer.
Adi came out of the car with a bag for the Adelia family's hand. He walked to the front door of the house firmly, even though his heart pounding was getting louder.
Adi pressed the bell button next to the door. Before long appeared a middle-aged woman who opened the door.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Mom. I Adi want to meet Adelia's family" said Adi kindly and with a sweet smile.
"Wa'alaikumussalam, oh this is Ma'am Adel's candidate."
Adi nodded his head while smiling shyly. "God willing, Mom."
"Don't call, Mom, just call Mbok Sum. Monggo Mas, come in first. Mbok call Adel's mom."
"Nggeh, maturnuwun, Mbok Sum." Adi entered the living room which is quite spacious and elegant. There was a photo of their family with a gold-colored painted frame plastered on one of the walls of the room. Adi then sat on one of the sofas.
"Mr Adel, the candidate has come." Mbok Sum told Adel who was looking at himself in front of the mirror in the living room.
"Thank you, Mbok. Did you tell papa and mama?"
"Not yet, Mbok tell Mbak Adel first."
"Yes, I called my mom. Please call Arsen yes, Mbok."
"Yes, Mommy." Ma'am Sum nodded.
"Mbak Adel ki cen pinter golek bojo, ngganteng tenan mas e," said Mbok Sum who turned out to have not budged. (Mbak Adel is indeed smart to find a husband, very handsome masnya.)
"Thank God, Mbok. If this one isn't just her handsome face, the character is also good." Adelia smiled proudly as she said it.
"Mbok is in the mood, Ma'am. Hope this is Adel's real soul mate."
"Aamiinu. Already Mbok, even chat here. I told mommy I was with you."
"Snake, Ma'am."
Adelia tells her parents that Adi has arrived before she meets Adi in the living room.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Ma. Sorry to wait so long," said Adelia who looked beautiful with a baby blue dress with a matching hijab.
"Va'alaikumussalam, Adel. Yes, it's okay." Adi stood up from his seat. She admired Adelia's beauty for a moment. He did not dare to look at Adelia for long. It was not that he did not like to see Adel's appearance, but that he wanted to keep his heart and gaze from things that were not yet lawful to him.
"Mmm .. This is a deposit from Dita." Adi handed me a bag containing Japanese cheese cake made by Dita.
"That's even a bother, Mom. Please say thank you to Dita."
"Not bothered. I'll tell you the same Dita." Adi lowered his gaze again.
"So this is what stole papa's heart." A middle-aged man who was still gallant appeared with a woman who still looked beautiful despite being over forty years old.
"Eh, Papa's with Mama. Pa, Ma, meet Mas Adi. Adi is my mom and dad." Adel introduced them.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Om, Auntie, introduce my name Adindra Kusuma, commonly called Adi." Adi greeted with reverence both of Adelia's parents.
"Wa'alaikumussalam, I'm Lukman, Adel's father. And this is Sarah, Adel's mother."
"Let's have a seat, Mas Adi," said Sarah's mother kindly.
Adi then sat opposite Adelia's parents.
"Which art, Ma'am?" ask Sarah to Adelia.
"Newly called Mbok Sum kanya, Ma," replied Adelia.
"Bak only the one who calls, he will eventually come out. Just get me a drink for Mas Adi" Sarah's mother ordered.
"Yes, Ma." Adelia moved from her seat to call her sister.
"What time is it from home, Mas Adi?" Sarah's mother opened the conversation.
"Hour half-nine, Auntie."
"Near from here?"
"About 20 minutes. Coincidentally my house is next door to Rendra's, Adelia's friend."
"That married rendra?" ask Mr. Lukman to make sure.
"Yes, Om. His wife Rendra is my younger brother" Adi explained.
"Oh, the world turns out to be narrow" said Mr. Lukman who made everyone smile.
"Son Adi, where do you work?" Lukman looked at Adi.
"In one of the construction companies, Om." Adi mentioned the name of the company where he worked.
"Well, great to work there. The salary must be this big" lured Mr. Lukman.
"Alhamdulillah, Om."
"This Deck, acquaintance with Mas Adi will be continued again playing the game." Adelia pulled out a young man who looked busy with a device in his hand.
"Dec, save the hp first. Acquaintance used to be with our guests" ordered Mr. Lukman firmly.
Arsen immediately paused his game. He put his dress in his pants pocket. As he looked up he was surprised to see Adi's figure. So did Adi, she was shocked when she saw Arsen's face.
