Halal Love of the Senior

Halal Love of the Senior
Distrusting

It's been a few weeks since Adelia blocked Restu's number, but her ex-fiance always texted her with a new number. Each new number blocked always sends with a new number again, and so on. Adelia had no idea how else to get Restu to contact her again.

Restu did only annoy Adelia through messages. If he dared to come home, it was impossible. Unless indeed the veins are broken and ready to be beaten Arsenio. His father would also be angry if Restu set foot again in their home. It was closed to all possibilities for Restu to be back with him.

The contents of Restu messages are always the same every time you send a message.

'I miss you, Yank.'

'I still love you, Yank.'

'You're the only one who understands me the most. I want us to go back to how we used to be.'

'I don't love my wife. You're the only one I love, Yank.'

'I'll divorce my wife if you come back with me, Yank.'

'Why are you evil with me, Yank?'

'Why do you always block me, Yank?'

'I won't give up until you get back to me, Yank.'

Adelia took a long breath. He just got back to blocking Restu's new number. Apparently his ex-girlfriend was never deterred. What's he supposed to do? Should he change his number? But what reason would he have to say if someone asked him why he changed his number?

He's holding this problem himself. There was not a single person he told because he felt he could solve it himself. And now he had to act even more decisively since blocking Restu's number had not been able to solve the problem.

He looked at the contact list on his phone, looking for the number of Bara, his friend who was always loyal to listen to all his complaints. After meeting, he immediately made a call. In the third ring, Bara answered his call.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Bar," hail Adelia.

"Va'alaikumussalam, Del. Is there a wind what is this phone collision? I guess I forgot about me."

"What are you, Bar. I can't forget you."

Laughing from across the phone. "You have a husband now."

"Cckkk ... Why? Not that I can't be friends and confide in you, right? Or maybe you don't want to hear me anymore?" Adelia clucked in annoyance.

Bara laughed again. "Great essence of this bride-to-be. By the way, what's up, Del?"

"Not again?"

"No, I'm free today. Discourse anyway want to do the thesis but the reality of it in front of the laptop is nothing."

"Bar, Restu call me again." Adelia started her confidement.

"Seriously, Del?"

"What am I lying to, Bar." Adelia sighs.

"When did he call you again?" Bara began to lure his emotions.

"The night after I applied Mas Adi. I blocked the same IG number. But, it turns out he uses a new number every time I block it."

"What does he say to you?"

"She said she still loves me, wants to go back to me. That's how you say it."

"Brescendoza Restu!!! Ask to beat him."

"Swimming, Bar. You are the one who is emotional."

"Where not emotions, as good as would want to reciprocate with you. He has a wife, right? Why bother you again?"

"Say he'd divorce his wife if I wanted to go back with him, Bar."

"What??? Shit!!! Ask to be beaten up for him." The sound of fire sounded fiery.

"Bar, hold your emotions. I'm telling you there's no intention of making you emotional. I want your opinion."

"What opinion, Del? Don't tell me you met her?"

"Cckkk .. I'm not going to see him either, Bar. If you think I changed the number?"

"Yes, just buy a new number. What trouble? Than you keep being bullied by that son of a bitch."

"I give you the same reason Dita, Rendra and Mas Adi?"

"Astaghfirullah, you haven't told them, Del?"

"Why? Mas Adi your future husband, Del. He deserves to know about this."

"I don't want them thinking."

"Keep you want to think about this yourself? When, Del? You can't keep this thing down."

"Later after marriage, maybe I'll just tell you, Bar."

"As much as you are, Del."

"Kok you get mad at me anyway?"

"I'm not angry, but I'm disappointed in you, Del. If I were Mas Adi, I'd be more disappointed because you wouldn't be honest."

"What do I need to do, Bar?"

"Truthfully the same Dita, Rendra and Mas Adi the reason you changed the number. Don't let them lie to you. Honesty is the foundation of relationships, Del. If you are not honest from now on, how will you get married? Because once you lie, there will be another lie to cover up the previous lie. You'll keep lying. You want to be like that?"

Adelia fell silent, contemplating all Bara's utterances.

"I don't want you to be a liar, Del. You have decided to move and you know lying is sinful. Whatever the reason, lying is not good. Bullshit if anyone tells you to lie for good."

"But this is just a small thing, Bar." Adelia gave a reason.

"If you think this is just a small thing, what if one day Restu desperate to do something bigger?"

"You don't want me, Bar. I'm sure he won't dare come home."

"I don't want you, Del. But chances are it could happen. Moreover, he keeps contacting you even though it has been blocked repeatedly. That means he doesn't give up easily. He may be obsessed with you. And remember, doing big doesn't mean you have to come home, right?"

"Bar, please don't add nakutin me dong. I'm not relieved to be a parno now" protested Adelia.

"That's why you heard what I said, Del. You're being honest with your family, Mas Adi, Dita and Rendra about what happened. They will support and provide solutions. If one day Restu gets desperate, they're ready and can anticipate."

Adelia took a long breath. "Should I be honest?"

"Yes. If you lie, I don't want to call you again. I don't want a friend who likes to lie. You yourself know how painful it is to be lied to and betrayed by Restu. You should also think about how Mas Adi would feel if you lied to him."

"Mas Adi is a good man, Del. Do not let you lose him just because of your lies. You don't want Mas Adi not to believe in you anymore?"

"Yes, Bar." Adelia answered softly, barely audible.

"If you're afraid to speak for yourself, I'll accompany you. But, maybe Mas Adi will be a little offended because I'm the first one you look for when you have a problem, and not him."

"Let me talk to myself, Bar. Tomorrow morning I call Dita to arrange a meeting with Mas Adi. I'd also say mama, papa and Arsen."

"Goodle. That's my best friend. I'll always be behind you, Del. Whenever you need me I'm ready to help."

"Thanks, Bar. You are the best. I promise I won't trouble you anymore."

"I don't feel bothered, Del. I'm just happy, meaning my existence is useful to others." I laughed a little.

"Yes, Bar. It's tonight. I'm going to sleep first."

"OKAY. Don't forget to give me your new number."

"Pastill. What am I without you, Bar." Adelia chuckles.

"Don't rock me, Del. Gombalin's your husband's candidate."

"It can be you. I closed yes. Wassalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."

Adelia swiped the red button on the device to end her call on Bara. He put the device on the nightstand and lay on the bed. He went back to thinking about all the words and advice of his best friend. It is true what Bara said, if honesty is the foundation of a relationship. He did not want to lose the trust of Adi. Therefore, she is determined to be honest with her future husband tomorrow.
