Loving You in My Way

Loving You in My Way
CHAPTER 6

Shata and Tara are now at the temple door. Shata stood there, sweating coldly, worried that his father would never see him again.

"Come on.. Quickly enter, why are you gawking here" Tara said.

"Yes" Shata replied.

They entered the temple and prayed to the God. After praying, Shatapun saw one of the devotees of the god named Zheyata. Zheyata was one of the youngest devotees of the god, he is now 17 years old. He has been serving since he was 10 years old.

"Shyaata.." Sapa Shata's.

"Yes.."Answer Zheyata.

"How are you? It's me Shata and this is my friend Tara" Shata replied.

" Oh Shata.. I'm good, what about you? You haven't been here in a long time" replied Zheyata.

"Well.." Spontaneously Zheyata said after seeing Tara. Then tara gave a signal to be quiet.

"Hehehe yes I'm busy.. What's up zhey? You know Tara?" Ask Shata.

"We do know, didn't you bring me here 4 years ago? I met him on the front porch while waiting for you to pray" Sahut Tara.

"What yes? Looks like this is the first time I've asked you" Shata replied.

"Yes, approximately 4 years ago we met" said Zheyata.

"Do you want to meet your father? I'll try to call him" Zhyata said to divert the conversation.

"Will he see me?" Ask Shata.

"I don't know either, but what's wrong with trying" Zheyata replied.

"Alright then, I'll wait in the garden" Shata replied.

"Let's take Tara to the park" take Shata to Tara.

"Come on" answered Tara.

Zheyata enters the temple, while Shata and Tara go straight to the park. They sat on a garden chair under a shady tree.

"Please, get some water. I'm thirsty" Shata told Tara.

"Did you want to see me?" Shata.

"Calm down, I'm sure he'll see you this time" replied Tara.

"Hopefully.."Answer Shata.

Not long after, there was a sound of crying from a distance. Spontaneously, Shata and Tara turned their heads toward the source of the sound.

"Yeah...!!" Shata shouted towards his father.

Shata immediately hugged and kissed his father's feet. He cried out, expressing all the yearning for his father. The father could only cry and see his beloved son.

Tara approached the two.

"Thank you sir, because you've been looking after Shata all this time" Shata's father told Tara.

"Huh? Mister?" Shata asked as she wiped her tears.

"Don't you know that Mr Tara is the Prince?" Ask the father to Shata.

How surprised Shata was. The friend who had been accompanying him in his joys and sorrows turned out to be a prince.

"What do you mean, dad?" Shata said in confusion.

"Are you really a prince? What have you been with me all this time? What do you mean? Tttapy.. Is not the prince always...." Shata continued while looking at his best friend.

"Let's sit down first, I'll tell you everything" replied the father.

They went back to the park chair.

"So like this.. Before I decided to become a god devotee in this temple, I had doubts because I could not bear to leave you alone. I prayed in this temple for 2 days and met with this king, queen, and prince Tara. Father accidentally overheard a conversation between them. The prince wanted to experience life with the people but the king and queen did not approve of it because they were worried something would happen to the prince. Then he wrote a letter to the king. Father explained everything, that father will leave you and become a devotee of the gods. Father also explained that you are someone who is good at archery so that the safety of the prince will be guaranteed. At first, the letter had no reply. Father thought that the king had rejected father's offer. One day, however, my father was called by the royal guard. He said that the king wanted to see father in person. Even if you meet with the king, the king accepts the father's offer on the condition that you should not introduce prince tara as a prince and you will still be monitored by the security of the kingdom from afar. Dad felt relieved. For this reason, I brought Prince Tara home and introduced him to you. To be honest, all this time I've been very longing to meet you, you also know that you are nicknamed the Arrow Eye. How happy the father, the only son of the father is able to be known by all people in all parts of the country" said the father.

"Lantas, why don't you want to see me? All this time I was tormented because my father always rejected me" Shata asked.

"I'm sorry Shata, this is what I did" Tara replied pensively.

"Huh? What else is this? What have you been hiding from me all this time!!" Shata replied with a slightly upset tone.

"Emmm... That's.." Tara.
