The school bell rang thirty minutes ago. However, some school students are still seen waiting in front of the steps of the building because the rain is still faithfully flushing their place.
Binar who today forgot to bring an umbrella also waited there, sitting pensively in one of the long chairs near the cupboard while lamenting his fate, because he had rejected the invitation of Arunika, his compatriot, his friend, to the cupboard, to go home together.
Understandably, today he woke up again. So, inevitably Binar had to go to school without breakfast and without an umbrella that was accidentally forgotten.
Binar again scribbled the wall clock that was imprinted there and again complained. It seemed that he and some of the other disciples still had to stay there a little longer. However, Binar did not want to do it. He had to go home soon to help his mother make a cake order.
Her mother, who is only a housewife, sometimes likes to take cake orders from neighbors, to fill the void. It was then that Binar was happy to help him in the kitchen.
"Have I just broken through this rain? No, not too much!" mumbles Binar. The girl got up from her chair and walked slowly towards the front of the steps.
His hand then stretched out to ascertain how heavy the rain was.
"It's okay!" yelling Binar while lifting his bag high as a head in order to dispel rainwater so as not to wet his head.
Without a second thought, Binar rushed to run through the rain, followed by several other friends who turned out to see the action of Binar.
Binar ran towards the bus stop which was located about six hundred meters from the school. Shortly after, the bus arrived and Binar boarded the bus.
Luckily, the bus that Binar was on was not too crowded. He could take a seat in the front row comfortably without jostling. The distance from the school from his home which takes up to fifteen minutes, makes Binar take a short rest.
Arriving at the destination, Binar got off the bus. The rain still did not subside when he set foot on the asphalt.
"Thank you it's close!" mumbles Binar. Just as he was about to step foot, suddenly a huge umbrella covered almost his entire body.
The surprised binar hurried to turn his gaze back. The girl gasped, when she found that Madaharsa, a classmate and guy she liked, was there. Mada is the one who has shaded Binar.
"Mada! Why is it here?" ask Binar. The bus they boarded was the same, but Mada's house still passed through his house. So Mada shouldn't have come down here.
"Your uniform is wet." Instead of answering, Mada glanced at the arm of the already soaked Binar uniform.
Binar grimaced and directly held onto his arm. "Where are you going?" ask the girl again.
"Take you home."
Hearing Mada's reply, Binar was shocked. He rejected the offer because he was worried that Binar would be late to come home. What else in this rain. However, it felt like arguing was free, because Mada even forced Binar to walk with him.
Binar. He finally stepped along with Mada through the rain under the same umbrella.
In fact, the heart of Binar was happy, because the man who was close to him was again paying attention.
Binar and Mada had known each other well since the first grade of High School, and the two got closer as they inhabited the same class in the second grade.
The proximity of Binar and Mada even brought its own bird news. What else if it wasn't about their relationship.
Binar who really liked Mada certainly did not expect much on the development of their closeness, because Mada himself did not seem to show any signs of liking him. For Binar, the nature of Mada is indeed as good as that. Despite the cold, Masa is friendly to everyone he knows.
The two walked slowly without a sound. Sometimes Binar seemed to want to talk, but always undone again after seeing the look of Mada's face that was quite serious. However, a second later, Binar was suddenly startled by the action of Mada who unhappily clutched his arm to avoid rainwater.
"Close so that rain does not wet your arms" Pinta Mada pressed her embrace.
"I'm sorry to trouble you" said Binar with a timid face.
Mada. Suddenly he stopped his steps, but my house was only five to six houses away.
Mada gently changed my position to stand right in front of her.
"What's wrong?" tanya Binar with a look of astonishment. The towering height of her body made the girl forced to raise her head in order to see her face.
"Bi, I want to talk" said Mada.
"Speak what? Can't wait for tomorrow?" Barin asked him a question again.
"Can't because I don't want to delay anymore!" Answer Mada with a firm tone. From the look on her face, Mada seemed to be seriously wanting to discuss something with her. That means he doesn't want to be interrupted or teased.
The binar nodded his head.
"I hope you're not angry with me, Bi," said Mada ambiguously, which immediately made Binar wonder inwardly.
What exactly did Mada want to say to the point of making the man turn serious? Not to mention her slightly pale lips, either because of the cold weather or something else.
Mada cleared her throat for a moment and took out a very beautiful rose hairpin.
"I won't make small talk!" emphatically Mada who immediately pin the hairpin to the hair of Binar.
The reflexive binar holds it. Just now that she was about to say thank you, Mada had already made a loud voice again.
"So my lover!"
Binar instant terbangu. His heart almost jumped out after hearing Mada's shocking confession.
How not, all this time Mada never really showed interest in Binar. That's why Binar never expected anything from their relationship.
"You must be joking" Binar said with a small laugh. However, Mada did not welcome his laughter or give up. He even held onto Binar's hand and said it once more.
"I want your answer right now!" mada Desak.
"Why can? I'm not the girl you deserve to like Mada" said Binar, who began to take this seriously.
Bright, because even though Binar felt very small compared to Mada.
"I don't need many questions Bi. For the year we were close, I steadily chose you to be my lover, and I needed the answer right now! " Mada again made a statement in an unpleasant tone to cover up the awkwardness that was present in his heart.
The two were silent for a long time, until Binar soundlessly nodded his head twice in agreement.
Although without a sound, Mada still knows that Binar has received it. The heavy burden that had been carried by Mada was lost instantly. Breathing came out of the man's mouth.
Mada thoughtlessly carried Binar in his arms.
"Thank you."
