Regina looked at Amy who looked agitated. Amy repeatedly rubbed her own palms, trying to calm her nervousness. Regina smiled holding onto Amy's shoulders and looked into her eyes in the wide-open mirror before them.
"Don't be nervous Miss. This is just an introduction to the entire Langton Family. Trusted people who serve in the auspices of their business empire. Derek was right to have this introductory party before your wedding, so they know you're the one who's going to be with their leader."
"I know .. but still I'm nervous. You'll always be right next to me, right?"
Reggie chuckled at the question.
"I think your future husband would throw me out if I always stuck to you." Reggie laughed.
Amy took a deep breath.
"How did they feel after knowing I was Arthur Sky's daughter? I think these people have served the Langton Family for a long time. So know about the Sky and Langton family history."
"Don't think. I'm sure Derek has handled the matter."
"Reggie ...." Amy looked into Reggie's eyes in the mirror. She hesitantly opened her mouth and closed it again. As if something was stirring up her feelings .
Reggie stroked Amy's bare shoulders, smoothed her long brown hair with her fingers, then looked back up at the mirror in front of them.
"What are you afraid of? Don't you see that pretty girl in the mirror? She is the daughter of Arthur Sky. A replica of Greta Sky whose beauty is legendary. From childhood nothing could frighten him .. he inherited Arthur's courage and Greta's kindness ...."
Reggie spoke his words from the heart. Remembering all his life journey in the Sky family. Trying his hardest to stem the clear liquid that began to gather in both of his eyes.
Amy suddenly stood up, turned around and hugged Reggie. Amy's broken crying made Reggie no longer able to hold back her falling tears.
"Thank you, Reggie. Mamma and my father would've made it real if you hadn't just kept resisting."
"Sttttttt .. don't talk about unnecessary things, Miss. I'm your bodyguard, I love you even without that legal letter. You can think of me as anything, brother, friend, brother, companion .. anything."
The crying of both became. Until the sound of footsteps in the hallway makes Reggie push Amy.
"I think you've been picked up. Remove your tears and smile." Reggie picked up a piece of tissue, gently removing the tear marks on Amy's cheek. Immediately fix the girl's makeup when the door is opened by Derek.
"Sweetheart ...."
Derek was speechless, fascinated to see the beautiful girl in a knee-length navy blue dress. With blue eyes and brown hair that was allowed to unravel in length, a few small floral decorations complemented Amy's hairdo. Her bare shoulders contrasted with the girl's white cheeks which were slightly flushed from having Derek look at her. Derek gulped, The girl looks like a pretty little forest fairy.
Amy was agitated.
"Is my appearance strange?"
He looked at Derek and Reggie smiled proudly at him.
"Of course not .. You're like a fairy that's gonna shake the hall room any minute. Come on Sweety, I can't wait to introduce you to them."
Derek reached out his hand which was immediately greeted by Amy. Derek kissed Amy's blushed fingers and placed the girl's hand on her arm.
They leave the room followed by Reggie, who follows the couple to the mansion's grand hall, which has been set up for Amy's introductory party to all the important and trusted people in the Langton family business empire, including the people moving in their underground kingdom. People from the black world loyal to the Langton Clan were descended from predecessors before Derek.

Amy smiled naturally, as one by one the people who greeted and came up to them shook her hands. Even kissed her cheek. The ones who dared to do it were of course only the men who were over 50 years old with their wives. The younger men only dared to shake Amy's hand, but it was quickly released after seeing Derek's gaze on them.
The couple who approached them then made Amy smile happily. Alex with a beautiful woman with red hair, sexy woman in a red light dress that makes Amy amazed, the woman's body as if shouting burning passion. Alex shakes Derek's hand and Amy's hand turns. A happy smile adorning her lips looked at the beautiful girl like a forest fairy in a tramp with Derek.
"God ... look at you .. You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen."
Alex's joking praise made him get a pat on his arm. The red-haired sexy woman gowns spoiled in Alex's arms.
"Don't make this man jealous of you, Alex." smilingly the woman reached out her hand to Derek.
Derek stared at the sexy woman's arm, staring at Alex who was also staring back at him.
"Just do it, Derek. You know he likes to make trouble."
Alex took off the red-haired woman's arm, then extended her hand to Amy.
"Give me the honor of taking you to sit and wait for Derek to finish dancing with ivy."
Amy looked at Derek who was still silent and had not yet welcomed the hand of a woman named Ivy. Smiling he greeted Alex's hand which immediately pulled him and passed from the place.
Derek looked at the two, before turning to the sexy woman again.
"You look at Eve .. You're not getting her any closer, you're making her run from you."
Evangeline who was called Eve by the Langton family who knew her only took a deep breath.
"Well ..that stupid guy can only piss me off! And are you also going to follow him pissing me off by refusing my invitation to dance!?"
Eve looked resentfully at Derek who had not yet welcomed her hand. A tingling laughter adorned Derek's lips.
"Oh well .. I don't think any kind of dancing has any effect on our cold Alex."
Derek took Eve's hand to the dance hall. The ending song makes some couples start to go down, preparing to continue the next dance. Eve holds Derek's friendly shoulder. Closer his body and whisper in Derek's ear.
"You know .. he keeps looking at us."
"Give up Eve ... Alex doesn't want you." Derek laughed amusedly looking at Eve's shocked eyes. He brought his face closer to Eve's.
"Maybe you need to change your strategy. Don't be so aggressive after her Eve .. she'll run scared."
Derek laughed after muttering his words. Eve patted Derek's shoulder softly, giggling as she whirled along to the melody in their dance.
Amy looked at the dancing couple with her heart pounding erratically. He tried to catch his breath which suddenly felt tight. Eve who brought her lips closer to Derek's ear whispered something then Derek smiled, laughed and even brought his face closer to the red-haired sexy woman's face. Amy looked at herself, comparing the woman to her childlike self. Adult women with a very sensual appearance, very far inversely proportional to their appearance.
His eyes could not see the couple's movements on the dance floor. Eve's cleavage peeking out of her sexy dress invites clinging to Derek's chest. Amy suddenly felt thirsty, looking down on both hands in her lap.
"Drink this ..." a glass of red drink extended by Alex. Apparently Alex had momentarily gone to take two drinks . He took a sip of the red liquid and handed the other glass to Amy. Amy immediately brought the glass closer to her lips and gulped down the reddish liquid.
"What's this?" Amy cringing. The sweet taste of the drink is like an extract from some kind of fruit.
"For sure it's not wine, beautiful! Derek will scold me if I give you an alcoholic drink." Alex blinked his eyes, greeted with a bright laugh Amy heard his joke.
From the dance floor, the two people who were joking could not be separated from Eve's view. Clinging his body closer to Derek he growled in annoyance. Through the tail of her eyes Eve catches the wink of an eye and the bright smile Alex gives Amy.
"What's wrong?" Derek who heard Eve's growling voice looked at her in surprise.
"The man is only polite when dealing with me. But he can joke, laugh loosely and even wink seductively at the girls. Why he never saw me, Derek."
Derek hugged his dance partner tighter.
"You can't force love, Eve. Patience ...." Derek smiled comfortingly, which Eve greeted with a bright smile replacing her upset face earlier.
"You can always cheer me up, Derek." Unnoticed, Eve rests her temple on Derek's shoulder.
