Evangeline walked back and forth inside the living room in the langton family's main mansion. Sometimes he looked at the door and clucked.
"Ckk ... Why haven't they come here yet?"
"Patience. They'll be here soon." Alex tried to comfort Eve who looked a bit agitated.
"I think they should have come since yesterday. But caught in the rain and storm so delay to go home. I want to know how Amy is doing." Eve sighed and sat down on the sofa in front of Alex. The open door made the two people in the room turn their heads. Mike who stepped into the room saw a sense of disappointment in the eyes of Eve and Alex.
"What's? Who are you waiting for?" mike pretended not to know.
"Surely we weren't waiting for you, Mike," Eve snorted, to Mike's laughter.
"They'll be there soon. We'll see and meet them soon." Mike looked at Eve who looked impatient.
"Well .. I'd love to see Amy. Making sure he's okay, given his current condition."
"What happened to Amy?" Mike looked confusedly at Eve and Alex who were looking at each other.
"OKAY. I'll tell you now. Amy must have told Derek anyway, and they ended up coming home together. Now Amy's pregnant" Eve assures. Mike nodded for a moment and then frowned
"You mean Amy's pregnant?" mike asked surprised. Making Eve cluck.
"Ckkkp. That's what I said. Derek's gonna have a baby soon and we're all gonna be Uncle and Aunt." Eve smiled proudly. While the two men before him only looked at him flatly.
"Why? You guys don't like it? Ohhhhh .. I will always ask her to play and will be her favorite Aunt. But every once in a while I'll let you guys play." Eve's words were greeted with silence, there was no response from the two men before her.
"You guys always pretend to dislike babies. And there is nothing you can do when you are faced with the most adorable creature on the face of this earth." Eve didn't stop babbling.
"And again ... This is Derek's baby. Oh, my God .. I'd be happy to babysit her" Eve said.
"If you really want to babysit, why don't you get married and have your own baby." Mike laughed looking at Eve who heard his words and frowned as if he was thinking hard.
"You're right too, Mike. But I don't want to get married. Hmmmm.... What if I have a baby but no need to get married?" Eve bit her lower lip while thinking. Made Alex who from earlier put a flat face looking sharply at Mike.
"Don't put crazy ideas in his head, Mike. Without any advice from you, he is already quite troublesome!" Alex rebukes Mike who chuckles.
Busy about discussing the third baby unaware of the open door and footsteps entering the room of the two people who entered hand in hand.
"Ah .. Can you imagine? A little baby. Derek's son will be running around inside this mansion later." Eve returned to a happy sigh. The three were unaware of Derek who was standing not far from them while clutching his wife's shoulder which suddenly became nervous. He deliberately entered secretly to surprise his three confidants in the room. But their conversation attracted him.
"Infant!? My kid? " ask Derek loudly. Making the three people before him turn away and exclaim joyfully at his coming.
"Amys! Derek!" Eve shouted and stood up. He pulls Amy from Derek's arms and hugs her.
"Oh, Honey. You're finally back. I'm so worried. You ran away and made us all anxious." Eve hugs Amy and kisses her cheek. Amy smiled apologizing to Eve.
"I'm sorry. I'm acting stupid. I shouldn't have run away and listened to your explanation" Amy said with a regretful face. The three men present there smiled gently at the two women who already understood each other.
"No, Honey. I should have explained it to you from the beginning. I should have chased you until I got it. Besides, you're emotional for seeing us half-naked. Naturally you are very angry and remember your condition that is pregnant, it is natural that your emotions are easily ignited and unstable ...." Eve stopped blabbering when she saw Amy's face turning pale.
"Darling ... What's wrong? You're so pale. You tired?" Eve saw Amy frowning and shook her head slowly towards her.
"Pregnant? What do you mean Amy's pregnant, Eve? How do you know my wife's pregnant?" Derek walked slowly to the two women who were still holding hands. Derek looked at his wife who looked a bit pale and started to misbehave. Eve looks at Amy and Derek turns. Realizing later that Derek has no news of his wife's pregnancy.
"yeah. You keep babbling. Now you're taking the consequences." Alex chuckles softly.
Derek looked at Alex and locked the man's eyes. "Did you know my wife was pregnant?" ask Derek.
Alex did not answer, pretending to look the other way, making Derek sure the man already knew.
"And you're Mike .. Do you know that too?" Derek asked Mike without looking at him. Her eyes locked onto Amy's blue eyes, which were silent as she pursed her tiny lips, as if preparing to find an excuse to make a point for Derek.
"Yes, I knew a few minutes ago before you came. But still I know better than you. Aren't we?" Mike chuckled happily. Eve glanced at him, while Alek patted her forehead.
"Well, then I'll go first. We'll talk later, Derek." Mike passed by while laughing at the husband and wife who were staring at each other. The husband stared intently at his wife, while the wife avoided looking at her husband.
"Ummmm .. I also have a need. I'll go first." Alex stepped forward without looking at the husband and wife. Eve followed without speaking.
"Don't go anywhere first, Eve. I'm not done with you." The soft speech sounded like a warning cry in Eve's ear. He looked at Alex begging to ask him, but the grin on the man's face made him frown.
"Goodbye, Ivy. I'm ahead." Alex chuckles and leaves the room.
"Tell me where did you know my wife was pregnant. Did he tell you?" Derek asked Eve without turning his gaze away from Amy's two eyes.
Eve looked at Amy, smiling apologetically. She doesn't know that Amy hasn't told Derek about her pregnancy.
"Eve. I'm asking you." Derek sizzled impatiently.
"It wasn't really your wife who told me. I just happened to guess," Eve said evasively. Derek turned his head slightly, looking at Eve with the tail of his eyes.
"Don't try to lie. You can never do that to me!"
Eve pouting. She looked back at Amy, who was smiling, looking at her. As if telling him to tell Derek the truth.
"Ummmm .. actually I know because Amy left her pregnancy test results at the hotel while running away from us at the time. Test's positive. I'm guessing he was looking for you at the hotel because he wanted to tell you the news. But our sight at the time made him misunderstand." Eve looked back at Amy regretfully. But the woman smiled soothingly, looking very pretty in Eve's eyes with two dimples on her cheeks.
"so. Now you can go. Leave us alone" Derek told Eve.
Eve looked at Amy, smiling farewell. "I'm sorry. I didn't know you hadn't told him."
Amy nodded towards Eve. Look at the woman until the door closes. Waiting with a heart beating. Now her husband knows. Accidentally from someone else's mouth ....
