The crane is seen walking back and forth in the large room where the Langton family members were gathered. Arthur's second son was busy with toys scattered on the floor, the boy assembled a multi-storey building with a collection of legos of various colors.
On the long sofa in front of the little Arthur playing, Mike spread the newspaper in front of him wide. Reading at once closed the sight of Derek who kept pacing uneasily. Next to Mike sat Erland Derek's eldest son who looked at his father's astonishment, who did not stop moving and frowned.
"Uncle Mike," said Erland slowly.
"Yes ... My Knight." Mike answered Erland without lifting his eyes from the paper before him.
"What's wrong with Daddy?"
"You mean?"
"Look at him .. he was very agitated. I think if his footsteps were counted, he would have walked dozens of kilometers." Erland's words made Mike smile thinly.
"Your mom is about to give birth, Erland. Your sister will be born .. That's why your Daddy is like that."
"But Daddy's never been through it. Look at us Uncle Mike, we were born and so big .. later the younger brother will also be born and big. So Daddy shouldn't have to worry."
Mike frowned. Derek's eldest son is very critical and a keen observer. He likes to analyze things, a strong, intelligent and talented leader has begun to be seen. Mike believes Erland will be a reliable successor like his father and grandfather Erland Langton.
"Stay, My Knight .. A father will be worried about every day before the birth of his child, because it concerns the lives of the mother and the baby he gave birth to."
Erland seemed to nod and was satisfied to hear Mike's explanation.
The sound of footsteps rushed into the large room. Alex arrives with Barkley's doctor, who helped Amy deliver at the hospital.
Mike dropped off the newspaper he was reading. Nodding towards Alex who was smiling amusedly looking at him.
"Is he babbling?" ask Alex.
Mike shakes. "No. But according to Erland, he had already walked dozens of kilometers."
Alex chuckled and looked towards Derek who seemed to be unconscious being the subject of their conversation.
The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs made everyone look up. Eve reached out to welcome doctor Barkley and his partner. Eve led the two upwards. Climb the mansion's wide staircase to the second floor.
Derek can be seen stepping closer to Eve at the staircase.
"Eve," he called slowly.
Eve turned her head down and gave her smile to Derek.
"Don't worry" said Eve calmed down.
"Can I go with him?" derek Pinta.
"Oh No! No! No!" Eve escapes and leads the two doctors into the room where Amy is about to give birth.
Not wanting Derek to know he was going to give birth and make a scene immediately took him to the hospital. Amy decides to delay telling her that she has already felt contractions. He just called Eve who was coming and they waited until the distance of the pain was getting closer. But Amy is late, when she intends to tell Derek, she already feels the signs of the baby coming out.
Eve calls Barkley's doctor and the doctor advises Amy to stay there and those who will come help her.
Minutes passed and Derek was still pacing back and forth. Little Arthur seemed to be getting sleepy and Mike took the initiative to hold the boy, he hugged him while holding him until the boy fell asleep.
"Find him Mike .. I'll put him to bed." Alex suddenly extended his hand. Mike smiled and nodded.
"No need, Alex. You just arrived from picking up the doctor. I'll do it myself." Mike chuckles at Alex's expression of horror when he realizes he will be left with Erland. He climbed the stairs to the floor where the child's room was.
"Uncle Alex." Erland called.
"Yes, Erland." Alex turned to the boy who was patting the sofa beside him, telling Alex to sit next to him.
"Before going to pick up the doctors, *U*ncle was with Aunty, right?" ask Erland.
"Yes ... What's wrong?" Alex looked back at the blue eyes looking back at him.
"Is Aunty from your place?"
"Why ask, Erland? What's so weird?"
"Aunty Eve wears your shirt .. Aunty's clothes are nothing like that." Erland's intelligent eyes looked at Alex, waiting for an answer.
Alex suddenly rubbed his forehead, went silent for a long time and looked for an answer to dodge.
"Ummmm .. Where did you know it was my shirt?"
" Uncle Alex used to wear it. I remember it ... So, I'm not? The sweatshirt that Aunty wore was yours."
Alex was still rubbing his forehead when Mike's voice that seemed to have returned was heard answering Erland's question.
"You're right My Knight .. It's Uncle Alex ...."
"Because aunt Eve said that. He was forced to borrow it because his shirt had spilled a drink." Mike's answer made Erland shut up and nodded. The boy looked towards Derek who was stepping out towards the garden beside the mansion. Erland got up and stepped up after her father.
"You're confused by a boy's question, Alex. Don't tell me you're confused because you don't know how to explain how that shirt got to Eve." Mike chuckles amusedly.
The red hue crossed Alex's face. But the man quickly looked down and hid his face from Mike.
"Don't tell me that Eve spilled her drink and had to borrow your shirt, that's an excuse for a kid." Mike was stunned when he felt Alex stomp hard on his foot.
"Why is he in your apartment? He got that shirt from your closet, didn't he." Mike deliberately babbles when he sees Alex running out of words to reply.
"Don't tell me Eve 'attacked you' Alex." Mike's intonation on the word attack makes Alex look up.
"You're so chatty today, Big Brother ...."
Mike's laughter exploded and couldn't stop Alex standing up and blocking the man's body. Pretending to drop it on the floor. The two big-bodied men were struggling while laughing loudly.
Eve looked at the two from upstairs and immediately shouted.
"What are you doing! Get Derek over here!" His shout made the two men stop and immediately carry out his orders.
Derek re-enters the mansion hearing Mike and Alex's voice calling him. His hand held Erland's.
"Eve told you to come in." Mike smiled and knew that the baby was born. The crying of the baby upstairs signifies that.
Derek took Erland up the stairs and headed for Amy's room. The two opened the door and were greeted by the sight of Amy holding a tiny baby in her arms. Eve and Reggie were standing on her right left side. He held the baby in the blanket to Derek.
"Your daughter" said Amy smiling. Derek received a blanket filled with his daughter and looked at her pretty little face with small red lips.
She kissed her baby's forehead and hugged him in the chest.
"Welcome My prince ... My Belle ...."
Erland who heard his father's words smiled.
"Belle .. Is that her name, Dad?" Erland tiptoed to peek at his sister's face. Derek drops the tiny baby so Erland can see it.
"Yes, Erland ... Isabella Langton's ... Belle our little one." Derek glances at Amy, who is moved to hear her daughter's name, Derek names his daughter after Amy's real name before being adopted by the Langton family.
"That's a beautiful name for her." Reggie wiped away the tears that melted down his cheek. After squeezing Amy's hands gently, she comes out with Eve leaving the family to admire their little daughter who starts crying.
"Why is Belle crying, Dad?" Erland frowned at the sound of her sister's voice. Derek chuckles.
"Maybe because he knew his first brother hadn't held him, Erland." Erland looked wide-eyed at the words of her father. Amy smiled and reached out to Erland.
"Come here, Erland ...." Amy pulled her son into the bed. Derek provides a gap between himself and Amy, so that his son can sit between them.
After Erland sat down, Derek held out a bundle of blankets containing Isabella to Erland. The boy greeted him with confidence. He held his sister and smiled happily because Belle had stopped crying.
"I'm not right ... He stopped crying now." Derek hugged Erland from behind his back. He shared a smile with Amy leaning on a pillow arranged high behind his back.
"Where's Arthur?" Amy asked because she did not see her second son.
"He's asleep, Mom ... Uncle Mike put him to sleep in his room." Erland answered Amy's question without lifting her face from looking at her little sister's face.
"Did I look like this when I was born, Dad?"
"Yes .. but your crying is firmer." Derek laughed looking at Erland who had turned his back.
Again Derek spread his arms and hugged his family. The joy of singing in Derek's heart. Hugged his family in this room and remembered his family outside the room who must have been gathering and rejoicing over the birth of his first daughter.
"I love you guys ...." Derek whispered, but was heard clearly by Erland and Amy.
"We love you too, Dad...." The simultaneous answer from his wife and eldest son made Derek smile with satisfaction. The blessings in his life are countless. And Derek was endlessly grateful for the happiness that was present in his life.
