The Extra Part 03

"It's time ...." Amy muttered to herself as she stroked her stomach which started to hurt. Repeatedly his double contractions and he refrained himself from frowning. He did not want the entire mansion to be excited. When the time is near, he will tell Derek.

The sound of small footsteps running up to her made Amy turn her head. Little Erland seemed to be running towards him, a new mask appeared in the grasp of his right hand. He held it out to Amy.

"Mom .. put this on," he asked.

"A mask? Whose mask is this, honey?"

"My tree."

Amy smile. Mike often called his son My Knight. A knight who apparently becomes Erland's new obsession to play as a knight.

He wrapped the mask around Erland's head, and the boy started climbing and wanted to sit on Amy's lap. Amy frowned when the contractions returned to her double.

"Mommy?" Little Erland looked at her mother with big round blue eyes. Surprised that his mother did not lift him immediately into the lap.

Evangeline who entered the kitchen saw Amy's pain and was convinced something had happened. He immediately picked up the little Erland and tickled her.

"Here you seem. You opened your gift without waiting for me." Erland laughed amusedly and curled her way down from Eve's sling.

"Hahahaha .. I'm sorry, Auntie!" the boy shouted quickly, hoping Eve would stop tickling him. Eve stopped and kept holding Erland. He looked towards Amy.

"What's wrong?" ask with a serious look. Amy smiled, unable to lie to Eve's sharp eyes.

"It looks like it's getting sick, Eve," said Amy. Eve glares and immediately calls Nanny Erland's nanny. The woman came quickly as she was indeed accompanying the little boy nearby.

"You get Erland, then wait here. I'll get Amy's gear ready for the hospital and get the car ready." The nanny nodded, realizing that her Lady seemed to be about to give birth. Eve then steps away leaving the kitchen when Amy's voice calls out to her.

"Eve .. Don't tell Derek just yet. We're going to the hospital and we're going to call her when the baby's about to be born. He'll interfere with the work of the doctors and nurses there if he forces his way into the delivery room."

Eve paused for a moment, then nodded and stepped back to leave Amy. She picks up the baby's kit bag and needs Amy to have a pre-prepared delivery. Then he told the waiter to prepare the car. Eve checked the vehicle herself and put in the bag of baby equipment she was carrying.

After everything was finished and ready, Eve returned to the kitchen. He helped Amy get up from her chair.

"Is it close?" Amy shook her head to answer Eve's question.

Seeing that his mother and Eve were about to leave, Erland started crying in Nanny's arms.

"Mommy ... Aunt Eve, take me with you." The boy's cry became. Amy and Eve looked at.

"Well take it, Eve. Nanny will take care of her," Amy said as she looked at the understanding Nanny and immediately nodded.

They drove to the hospital where Amy's doctor was waiting. Amy is directed to the delivery room, Eve waits with Erland and her nanny while trying to contact Derek. The man's phone was busy. A few times Eve called always a busy tone was heard. Eve finally called Alex.

"Yes?" Just a quick answer from Alex.

"You know where Derek is? I couldn't reach him" Eve asked directly.

"What's wrong? Why are you looking for him?"

"Amy in the hospital. I'll give birth soon. Tell me where is he? " The long silence greeted Eve's question, until she frowned.

"Hey! You heard me, right!?"

"I'll tell Derek, Ivy! You take good care of Amy. Make sure everything goes well. Okay?" Alex's tone of voice was strange, making Eve wary. Something has happened.

"Alex ... What's wrong? Where's Derek?"

"Oh, Derek's with us. Don't worry, Ivy. She's doing just fine. It's just .. Something happened to Reggie."

"Reggie?Whahuh? Wh why? What's wrong with her?" Eve can't imagine anything bad happening to the woman, given Reggie's current condition.

"Someone kidnapped her and gave her a threatening letter to kill her."

"What!" Eve shouted unintentionally. Erland and Nanny looked at him.

"Now calm down, Eve. Amy needs you. I'll make sure Derek gets home. Mike actually needs it. But things have not met the bright spot at the moment. So Derek better get his wife together first."

"Alright .. say we're okay. He doesn't have to worry. So far everything's been good."

"good. I'm going to tell him now" Alex said.

"Yes ...." Eve turned off her phone. Who dares to make a desperate attempt to kidnap a member of Sanchez's family.

He glanced at Erland who was sitting in Nanny's arms. The boy looked sleepy, his eyes dimmed and his body seemed to start to relax.

Not far from there the two men Eve recognized as Erland's bodyguards had been sitting on guard. Their bodies were relaxed, but Eve knew they would closely watch and look after Erland.

"Nanny .. she's asleep. I'll accompany Amy. Don't go anywhere. Wait here. Derek's coming soon." Eve looked at Erland who was already completely sound in Nanny's arms.

"Good, Miss." Upon hearing that answer, Eve knocked on the door opened by a nurse. He slipped in and gave a feisty smile to Amy who replied with a smile behind the pain in her forehead.

"I've contacted Derek. He's gonna be here. Come ... We have to get excited and get the little guy out before his dad comes here to make a scene."

Eve's words were met with crisp laughter from the nurses and doctors in the room. Amy held back her scream by pursing her lips. The baby will be born soon.

The birth process did not last long. Amy and Derek's baby boy was born with a loud cry. Making Eve and Amy laugh happily at the tiny baby who then coiled on the soft blanket that wrapped it.

"Ah .. She looks like Derek, but her hair is blond." Eve stroked the cheek of a tiny baby in Amy's arms.

"My father's hair. Her grandfather ...," said Amy slowly, unknowingly Amy's tears flowed when remembering her father. Eve smiled and held Amy's hand.

"They must be looking at you right now. You're with their very handsome grandkids .. 'cause it's always happy, Amy."

Eve holds out a tissue to wipe away Amy's tears from remembering her father.

"Thank you, Eve. Thank you for always being there for us."

Eve nodded with teary eyes. She felt a close bond with Amy and her son, a family she loved so much.

The sound of the door being pushed open made the two turn their heads. Derek looked at the two women who seemed to be crying, his heart beating faster.

"What's wrong? What the hell's going on? Why are you crying?" The worried hoarse voice made Eve and Amy smile.

"It's okay, Daddy. Everything's fine. Your son is healthy and your wife is too. He just needs to recover." Eve wiped away the quick tears that came back almost flowing looking at Derek who came with a worried face. God was so kind as to replace her brother's passing with a Derek who loved her like his own.

"Come here .. look at your son," said Eve smilingly looking at Derek who was fixedly looking at his wife. He stepped back, letting Derek approach his wife and see his son. Give time for the family to embrace each other the gift that God has entrusted in their arms. Eve came out and went back to sit on the long chair, where Nanny was still sitting in the same position while hugging the sleeping Erland.

"Give him to me, Nanny. You must have hugged her from earlier. I'll hold it." Eve reached out to welcome Erland who was still soundly asleep. Replacing Nanny so that the woman can rest.

"Mahaha ... Aunty, you cheated!" Erland's laughter echoed in the treatment room. Eve seemed to tickle the boy on the sofa. Amy who was holding her second son in bed smiled looking at them. A sudden kiss on his forehead made him turn his head, looking at Derek who was looking at him.

"Tell me the name you've prepared for him" Derek said .

"Arthur, Daddy. Call me Arthur. Arthur Sky Langton." Amy said it proudly while holding out her son to be carried by Derek.

Derek greeted and kissed his son's cheek.

"Welcome, my dear. You're the happiness that completes us." He whispered softly in his son's ear.

The sound of the phone ringing on the table made Derek step up and glance. Alex's name on it made him swallow. Eve who had seen who called immediately took the initiative to hold Arthur.

"Thank you outside, Derek." She whispered softly so that Amy would not hear it.

Derek looked at Eve who nodded to give him a sign that he knew. At least he knew something about Reggie that Amy wouldn't let him know. Not now.

Derek nodded in thanks to Eve and immediately walked out of the treatment room. Amy who was lying in bed recovering her strength seemed to close her eyes.

A few moments have passed. Arthur has fallen asleep and Eve puts the baby in a box next to Amy's bed. He immediately carried Erland and came out of the room to meet Derek.

"What's wrong? What exactly is going on?" ask Eve quickly. He saw Derek looking out the window of the hospital.

Derek looked surprised, then took a deep breath.

"Somebody's been hurting Reggie, Eve. It's missing. The driver who took him was found dead. Reggie wasn't there. The back seat of the car has been filled with blood stains ...." Eve nodded while shaking her head. Making Erland in his carrier stroke his cheek and say a question.

"Aunty?"

Eve held a small hand that stroked her. It was like seeking strength from there.

"Tell me you know who it is!"

Derek's arm made Eve very scared.

"Go, Derek! Go there and find him. Hurry up to act .. or Mike will go crazy for it ...." Eve's voice became hoarse, she needed to repeatedly swallow to smooth her throat.

Derek holds Eve's hand.

"Yes .. I'll be there now. Alex has found something. I hope we're not late. I'm leaving Amy and my kids in your custody, Eve. I'm counting on you."

Eve repeatedly nodded her head. Erland imitated the movement, nodding her head repeatedly. Makes Derek smile and kiss his son's forehead.

"Good boy, don't be naughty and listen to the words, Aunty .. okay?"

Another nod from the boy.

"Yes, Daddy," said Erland obediently.
