__ Seven Months Later

Mike and Reggie look in front of the delivery room. The screams of Derek scolding the medical staff who helped deliver his baby gave them goosebumps. Reggie repeatedly stroked his own arm, his body feeling cold after repeatedly hearing Amy's groaning about to give birth and a mock cry from Derek inside there. He did not dare to go inside and accompany Amy. Fortunately Evangeline is more courageous and willing to accompany Amy.

Reggie feels Derek won't be too useful to help Amy. The man looked like he had received a sentencing announcement when he found out his wife was about to give birth. He frowned, became pale and sweaty every time Amy felt pain from the contractions.

Lucius approached Regina who looked agitated. Repeatedly the girl stroked her own arm, as if feeling cold and uncomfortable.

"Hey, she'll be fine," he said calmly. Reggie looked up at the pair of black eyes looking at him worriedly. He nodded, smiled stiffly and gulped. Lucius extended both of his arms. He hugged Regina who was still motionless, but the girl let herself be hugged and instead leaned her cheek against Lucius' chest.

Mike squinted at Lucius who was also looking at him while raising both eyebrows. But Mike held the ready-to-slide curse from his lips, he just tightened his molars staring intently and coldly at Lucius.

Amy's shout from inside the delivery room made the three waiting people shudder.

"Ahhhh! Hufhhh! huhhhh!" It was as if Amy was breathing in between the pain that was getting closer.

"What are you doing! He's in so much pain! What to do to help him!" there was a cry from Derek in the room.

"For God's sake, Derek! I'll kill you if you don't get out of here!" Amy shouted loudly.

A moment later the door opened, Derek was seen being pushed by Evangeline out of the room where Amy had given birth.  Evangeline ruffled her waist and glared at Derek.

"Mike! You take care of this stupid man! Don't let him break in! He's a hassle!" Eve went back in and locked the door after shouting and nagging.

Mike patted the chair next to him, took Derek to sit down and calmed down. The man complies. He sat down and rubbed his face with both hands.

"I shouldn't have indulged in her desire to give birth normally, it should have been in surgery." Derek cursed his weakness that obeyed Amy's desire to let all the process of giving birth occur naturally.

"Just like Derek. Do you think Amy won't feel any pain after caesarean? He will still feel pain. Even the pain and injuries on his body would make him recover longer." Lucius explained as he tightened his arms to Reggie who started shaking as Amy yelled more and more inside.

Derek started to stand up and walked back and forth in front of the locked door. "What they do! They just wait without doing anything!"

Everyone who heard it knew it wasn't true. The birth of the first child takes longer than the next. Derek was just restless and did not know what to do to reduce his nervousness and anxiety.

Inside the delivery room the nurses and doctors who helped deliver Amy breathed a sigh of relief after Amy and Eve kicked Derek out. The man did not stop screaming every time he saw his wife feel pain. While the birth process requires pain from contractions that occur so that the baby can get out through the birth canal. Pain that is getting closer to the distance between one and another indicates the birth process will occur soon.

"Oh my God, we should've kicked him out of there, Amy." Eve held Amy's frowning hand and regulated her breathing. The woman tried to smile but failed when the contractions returned. Amy tried to hold back her screams while Derek was still in the room. Her husband looked like he was drained of blood, he was pale and blood as if receding from his face every time Amy cried out in pain.

"Looks like your baby's coming out, Amy. I'll lead you around. Arrange your breath and fight." The doctor who examined Amy down there smiled soothingly. Amy nodded and felt excited. The baby will be coming into the world soon.

Eve gulped. He held Amy's hand. Feel the pain that every contraction Amy suffered came. In fact, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly imitating what Amy did.

After a minute by minute that felt like it had been a few hours, the loud cries of a baby boy lit up the room.

"Congratulations Amy. He's perfect." The doctor picked up Amy's baby, immediately cut her umbilical cord, wrapped it in a soft cloth and immediately placed it on Amy's chest. A happy laugh adorns Amy's lips. She hugged her baby, unaware of the falling tears streaming down her white cheeks. Evangeline was moved and started to stand up from the chair, she took a few steps back, looking at the beautiful moment the mother and child first interacted after the baby was born. Eve did not notice her tears falling.

Outside the maternity room door Derek who heard the cry of the baby approached and stood in front of the door. Both hands were stuck to the closed door. She heard her baby's first cry with haru. A moment later the door opened, Eve appeared and pulled out her hand, the woman smiled and invited her in.

Derek came in and found Amy sitting on the bed with a baby in a blanket in his arms. He approached them and found Amy holding out the cowering baby boy towards him.

Derek greeted his son, looking at the reddish little face with a feeling of being moved, he glanced at the smiling Amy looking at him. Hugging her son, she approached Amy, kissing her tired-looking cheeks and forehead.

"Hey, Sweety. You okay?"

Amy nodded at Derek's question. They looked at each other and smiled, talking only through the eyes.

The whining sound made Derek look down, looking at his baby boy who was starting to whine in tears.

"I think she wants you to hug her again."

Derek saw Amy nodding enthusiastically. But Derek's shoulder was held by Eve when she was about to extend her baby to Amy. "We're gonna tidy up Amy and let her rest, Derek. We'll take your hero and let the Doctor work to check on your wife."

Derek nodded. He looked at Amy's eyes and looked tired. She let Eve carry her son and took him away.

Derek clasped Amy's hand and approached to kiss her forehead.

"Are you going to keep the promise of letting me choose a name if our baby's a boy?" Amy asked her smiling husband to hear her statement.

"Of course, Sweety. As you will." Derek shifts when the doctors and nurses start cleaning Amy. He moved slowly, but did not leave the room. His eyes looked at the tired face of his wife who still looked beautiful after giving birth. The two blue eyes were already dim, as if they were about to close to sleep and rest. After finishing Derek returned to his wife's bed. She clasped Amy's hand, making the woman turn her head and smile at her.

"Now rest. You look so tired. I love you so much, Sweetheart." Derek kissed his wife again. Amy smiled and nodded.

" I'm just waiting for you to say it, Derek. Now I can sleep and rest."

Derek watched his wife lean and closed his eyes. But the tiny lips still had time to mumble. "I love you too, Derek."

A smile spread on her husband's face. Derek said his prayers in his heart while looking at Amy .

Father, Arthur Sky, Aunt Margaretha .. I hope you'll see us up there. My son, your grandson has been born. Be happy and calm in nature. I will take good care of my wife and children. Will love and protect her with my life, will ensure their happiness for the rest of my life.

Derek was endlessly smiling. Looking at Amy's face, she began to fall asleep while holding her hand. Feel his life complete and live it with gratitude.
