#23. Stealing First Kiss
When Sheryl was walking alone in a Mall, she suddenly met Aristy —Mama Natta who was just out of a furniture store. Sheryl, who had not expected to meet Aristy by chance at that place, immediately looked awkward.
Natta was very close to his mother, and in the past when he was dating Natta, Sheryl was indeed said to often meet with Aristy. Aristy also likes Sheryl's good personality. He even loves Sheryl because of Sheryl's concern for Natta.
"Shery?"
Inevitably, Sheryl finally approaches Aristy. Aristy, feeling very happy to meet Sheryl, immediately hugs Sheryl and kisses her cheeks in turn.
"Auntie didn't expect to see you here."
"Hehehe yes, Tan. Auntie how are you?"

Before answering, Sheryl seemed to think. In his heart, he seemed to say that all this time news was never okay. Natta had broken off their relationship unilaterally, without telling him why. During the breakup, Natta even acts cold to her, and often thinks Sheryl is invisible.

Aristy then held one of Sheryl's hands, then looked her in the eye.
"With what's going on now, please don't hate the same Iel, huh? It's not Iel's fault. During these six months, Iel was in great difficulty. But Iel always says it's okay, because you're always there for him."
Hearing Aristy's last words, Sheryl was automatically startled. From what Aristy said, he could conclude that Natta had not told his mother that they had broken up five months ago.
"Iel said that, Tan?"
Aristy nodded, then said, "for that, Sher, Auntie ask for help, don't break up Iel because of this matter. The same drops Iel kept, huh?"
Sheryl didn't say anything. Aristy continued her story about Natta.
"Over the last six months, Iel hasn't had much time for you, has he?"
Sheryl just smiled. Again just answered inwardly, that Natta not only did not have time for her, but Natta completely ignored her.
"Iel's been doing two part-time jobs for the past six months. Though Aunt has said, if we are not that poor, Aunt can still meet all the needs of Iel even though it is not like before. But Iel was stubborn, and still wanted to do it."
Wait up! Part-time job? So Natta worked part-time? Sheryl was surprised to find out. It never crossed his mind for a second, that Natta's life had been in real trouble for the past six months, and Sheryl knew nothing.
Guilt, anger, resentment, and regret are now mixed together in Sheryl. But he could not say anything in front of Aristy. He should hold everything as much as possible. And for now, he really couldn't look at Natta in the same way. He is still disappointed, and is now even more disappointed after knowing the truth.
That Natta never involved him, that Natta prefers to keep all his problems alone without sharing with Sheryl. Suddenly Sheryl feels that she may not be that important to Natta all along.

Thanks to a hint from Bu Ningsih, Aira and Nico finally managed to finish their cooking. After that, Aira and Nico immediately got ready. Half an hour later, when the time showed at 5pm, Regina and Adryan arrived home.
Adryan and Regina let go of the longing for a while before going to the room to clean up and ready to eat the cuisine of the cooperation of Aira and Nico. twenty minutes later, the four of them had gathered at the dinner table. While Bu Ningsih prepared his food with Aira's help, Nico seemed to be engrossed in telling his parents various things while they were on a business trip.
"Mothers alike you should know, this food is cooked directly with Mba Nana and Mas Nico. Try it." Said Bu Ningsih while putting a plate of black pepper cow on the table.
"The kitchen is safe, isn't it, Miss Ningsih?" Adryan asked Bu Ningsih who deliberately wanted to tease Nico and Aira.
"They get along, right, as long as we don't exist?" Regina.
"Oya obviously got along. They're even getting closer now. Not like the beginning." Miss Ningsih replied as she passed.
Adryan and Regina then looked at Nico and Aira who were sitting right in front of them with a smile. And somehow getting an idea of where, Regina suddenly said to Adryan beside her,
"Pa, if we're Nico's match with Nana how? They seem to fit in."
Hearing Regina's words just now, simultaneously Nico and Aira immediately choked on the food. They both coughed, then together also immediately grabbed the drink glass in front of them.
Patting her chest, Aira immediately launched a protest over the idea.
"Tante what the hell?"
In response to Aira's words, Adryan and Regina just laughed and continued eating them. While Nico, without anyone knowing, secretly smiled as he chewed his food and turned his face away so that no one would know.
It seemed, Nico also secretly agreed with her Mama's idea.
"Niko! You're smiling? Do you agree with Om and Auntie?" aira asked in an introgating tone after realizing that Nico was smiling right now.
"Hahaha, that's not it." Elak Nico who still misbehaves while laughing.
"Look at Nico's smile. I think Nico's expecting this match, huh." The Regina knot.
Nico didn't say anything. He did not even intend to help Aira who seemed busy fighting and refuting the jokes of Adryan and Regina who constantly teased them.
Nico really enjoyed the situation.

Two o'clock in the same morning as before. At that time, Nico was seen accompanying Aira. They sat side by side on a sofa on the back porch of Nico's house. After sharing many things in turn, Aira suddenly asks Nico to sing a song for her so that she is sleepy and can resume her sleep.
Nico, who can never refuse any request of this girl, then took the guitar belonging to his father who was right next to him.
"What song do you want?" Ask Nico then.
"Anything." Answer Aira briefly.
Hearing Aira's completely unhelpful reply, Nico snorted immediately. But then, he immediately smiled. Anyone who sees Nico's smile right now, will definitely think that Nico is in love with someone.
Not long thought, Nico finally found a song that he really wanted to sing. His fingers then began to pluck the strings gently. Aira who liked Nico's choice of song as soon as she heard the intro, immediately smiled and said in a slightly hoarse voice resisting sleepiness, "waah, Nico! Good choice."

Aira, who had been in a semi-conscious state ever since she asked Nico to sing, now began to look closed eyes. And Nico slightly gasped when suddenly Aira's head fell on his shoulder. Even so, Nico continued his singing calmly.

In Nico's calculations, Aira must have been soundly asleep by now. It was heard from his sighs that were beginning to sound regular.

As soon as he finished with his singing, Nico fell silent for a while. His face that had once seemed calm, was now riled up. And in the distance there, from within him, he could hear a noise from his heart and brain arguing for one thing.
Nico then lowered his face while sighing quite long. At that time he knew that it was his who had won the debate that was quite fierce.
Nico then turned his head to the side, finding Aira who looked comfortable leaning on his shoulder. Nico looked at her for some time, thinking once more, and trying to find confidence before she finally brought her face closer to Aira's. When they were barely any further apart, Nico slowly closed his eyes. Then, Nico could feel her lips touching Aira's lips gently. Nico held it a little longer, and let the warmth flow through his entire body in silence.
But apparently, the calculation of Nico which is usually right, now misses.
Unbeknownst to him, Aira opened her eyes for a moment. But he preferred not to show any reaction even though he was very surprised and the entire cell in his body shook violently. Aira then closed her eyes without a sound. Pretending to be asleep, with slowly clenched hands. And tomorrow, he would act as if this was just a dream that then vanished once he opened his eyes.
He knew Nico had stolen his first kiss. But that will be his secret. Neither the world nor Nico should know that he knows.
