We, From The First
#66. A Hugs

With a heavy heart, Nico let Aira go with Rakha.

For now, Nico really could not think of a single way to make Aira calm down. Nico seemed to feel that every effort he made to make Aira calm, in the end would only make Aira more hurt. So Nico could only stare at Rakha's car that had taken Aira away from him, maybe from his life.

"You don't worry, do you, Nic? Papa who will explain everything is the same Nana later. For now Nana is still in shock. So it's only natural that he reacted that way." Adryan said when Nico just dropped his tubun on the sofa after driving Aira and Rakha out.

The shadow as Aira searches for Rakha, continues to haunt Nico's mind endlessly.

"Thank you in advance, Pa. But Nico would appreciate it more if Papa doesn't need to explain anything to Nana. Because..." Nico closed his eyes, trying to hold the pain in his heart, "because it would only make Nana even more sick."

"Of course we should explain everything to Nana, Nic." This time Regina spoke.

"Mama should have done that before bringing Nana home. Mama was supposed to do that from the beginning and leave the final decision to Nana. But Mama didn't do that! Mama didn't give Nana any choice but to accept!" Whether he had the courage from where, suddenly Nico scolded his Mama, as if he had been holding back for a very long time.

"Nico, you─"

"Sorry Nico, Ma, Pa. But Nico thought, Nico can't see Papa and Mama for a while."

That was Nico's last words before finally coming out of the luxurious penthouse owned by his parents with anger that had filled him.

...****...

It had been an hour since Rakha had taken Aira away with her. But during that time, Aira continued to be alone in one of the rooms in the Rakha family's private villa on Banu Island.

Another case with his friends who tried to hold back despite being very worried about Aira, Rakha actually felt the opposite. An hour had passed, and since they arrived at Banu Island this morning, Aira had not even put any food into her stomach. Unable to contain her anxiety with Aira's condition, Rakha breaks into Aira's room while carrying a few slices of sandwich and a glass of orange juice on a tray.

While Aira, as soon as she heard the sound of the door opening, she immediately looked at Rakha tiredly.

"Ra, you better eat first. You can't keep torturing yourself like this. You could get sick later."

"Kha, I still want to be alone, can you─"

Before Aira could finish her sentence, she suddenly felt Rakha closing her eyes with her hands. Everything happened so quickly when Rakha put the tray he carried on the table before finally walking quickly to Aira to close his eyes.

"Crying, Ra. If it makes you feel better, you can spill it all out now."

Without needing to linger any longer, Aira instantly broke her cries. He seemed to want to let out all his sorrow and pain in front of Rakha.

As the longer Aira's cries sounded more and more slashing, Rakha lowered her hands from both of Aira's eyes, then switched to hugging the girl tightly.

"I'm here for you, Ra! You can cry in my arms. I promise, I won't let you go through all this alone." Rakha's promise with all his heart.

His embrace of the girl's body grew even tighter as he felt that Aira was beginning to return his embrace.
