#46. Three Magic Words

At the sight of Aira grilling the meat alone, with a smooth movement, Nico got up from his chair and walked over to Aira. He stood beside Aira, watching her closely.

Upon realizing that he was no longer alone in front of the roasting, Aira turned to the side and found Nico staring at him.

"Eh, Nic? Why?"

Instead of answering, Nico took over the grill clamp from Aira's hand and replaced the task without permission.

"Nic, let me do it."

As Aira was about to take the clamp back from Nico's hand, Nico spontaneously brushed it off with his shoulder. Aira this time decided to give up, so as to no longer spark a debate between them. After all, Aira felt that Nico was still upset with her.

Moments later, Nico who seemed to be busy grilling the meat, deliberately looked towards Aira with her eyes tails. At that time, he caught the figure of Aira who was rubbing his hands to dispel the cold that was afflicting him.

Nico sighed, then stretched out one of his free hands. Although still upset at Aira because of the incident the other day, Nico still could not ignore it.

Aira who did not understand Nico's intentions, just looked at Nico's outstretched hand with a look of wonder. This time Nico clucked, and with a quick movement, he grabbed one of Aira's hands, then grasped it tightly so that Aira would not wink.

"Nick..." Aira tried to let go of her hand. But Nico again did not bother him.

Aira who could not do anything else, could only accept Nico's treatment resignedly. He no longer had a chance to resist, let alone rebel.

In order not to attract the attention of the others too much, Aira very carefully moved their hands back. Realizing what Aira was doing, Nico could only smile while turning his face away.

The time was still five in the morning when Nico woke up from his sleep. He then got up, then passed one by one the faces of Rakha, Natta, and Rio who were still sleeping soundly next to him.

After he felt his life had been collected, Nico walked towards the balcony directly opposite the beach view. From there, Nico can see the figure of Aira who is standing alone on the beach. Then, without a second thought, Nico hurriedly grabbed his jacket and went after Aira.

"Ra, since when is it here?"

Hearing Nico's voice greeting his listener's senses, Aira turned to the side. One smile so sweet was immediately imprinted on his face when he saw Nico.

"Since twenty minutes ago."

Nico simply nodded, then took a position beside Aira in such a close distance. After a long time of being seen weighing something in his head, Nico suddenly said, "want to walk by the beach until sunrise?"

Nico reached out his right hand with a look that could not be separated from both of Aira's eyes. A few seconds later, Aira welcomed Nico's hand. They also ended up walking side by side, along the beach while occasionally reminiscing about their childhood which used to also often play on the beach.

Without realizing it, their hands were getting tighter and tighter grasping at each other. Aira even hugged Nico's arm while leaning her chin on the young man's shoulder to ward off the cold. While Nico, he did not intend to make any comments. He was comfortable with the position, and he liked it whenever Aira was in a position this close to him.

Half an hour later, Nico and Aira stopped their steps when they saw the first matarahari published in 2013. They were both amazed to see that amazing sight.

"It's so pretty." Praise Aira with one sweet smile that fills her pretty face.

And Aira was completely unconscious, as Nico's attention now completely turned to her, "yes, pretty." Lirih Nico slow down. But that compliment was reserved for Aira.

"Sin..." Call Nico gently. The smile on Aira's face froze when she heard Nico calling her by that name again.

"Hm?" Aira replied in a mutter.

The situation between them was suddenly silent. They are equally soluble in the beauty of each other's charm.

"I love you." Nico with honesty.

The smile on Aira's face was still frozen. The three magic words that Nico had just revealed, made his heart thump. There was not a single speck of doubt in Nico's eyes when he said those three words. And Aira knew Nico meant it.

Being too busy exploring Nico's eyes, Aira was completely unconscious as the man's face moved slowly closer to him. Naturally, they both closed their eyes. However, just as the tip of Nico's lips touched the surface of Aira's lips, one voice from a distance suddenly sounded and made them take some distance.

"We're telaaaat! The sun is rising."

The voice belonged to Sheryl.

"Gara Rakha. It was hard to build!" Timpal Bia was full of annoyance.

"Eh, that's Nico like Aira, right? Since when are they here?" Sheryl said after seeing the sighting of Nico and Aira who were standing awkwardly not far from their current position.

Nico cleared his throat while scratching the back of his neck. While Aira, she could only sigh while continuing to control her still-crazed heartbeat.

'Almost, ' Aira's mind said.

Bia and Sheryl then run to Aira, followed by Yumi and the others behind.

As for Rakha, he stared suspiciously at the two people. Obviously something happened between them. All that Rakha could read from their clumsy-looking gestures as he and the others suddenly came.

"Mira! Niko! Since when are you guys here? Why not wake us up?" Bia protest immediately followed by Sheryl.

"Ka―we are also new nyampe." Kill Aira with a wave.

"Lied!" Yumi refuted.

Aira was getting confused as to how to avoid her friends. The moment he and Nico almost kissed had already messed up his mind.

Natta who began to be sensitive to the situation of Nico and Aira immediately took the initiative to mediate, "already! It's already! Mending we play. When can I see the beach."

After that, Natta grabbed Sheryl's shoulder and took her walking closer to the beach. Yumi, Rio, and Bia followed them.

While the others were playing on the beach, Rakha was still standing in her place without distracting her from Nico and Aira. A while later, Rakha saw Aira smiling as she waved at him. This time, Rakha lowered her face for a moment with one bitter smile on her face.

After her feelings improved, Rakha raised her face and smiled as usual at Aira.

"Raaa, I'm coming!" Rakha. He walked quickly to Aira.

To hell with what happened between Aira and Nico, Rakha still did not want to give up.
