#47. Licking Yourself

"T—please.. se—save, My daughter."
Wiry Geraldy with stammering and tearful eyes at a mysterious man, who was now standing looking at him lying on the street with a face that was not so clear in Geraldy's vision that had begun to blur.
While the mysterious man, seemed so surprised to find out that he had been misdirected. His entire body suddenly trembled at the sight of the dying Geraldy. He sat down next to Geraldy to see if he was alive or not. And at that moment, with the remnants of his strength, Geraldy grabbed the mysterious man's hand and looked at him while trying to recognize him. As soon as he recognized her, Geraldy muttered in the rest of his last breath...
"Bi—Bimantara Dd—danadyaksa?"
Bima, who was panicking when she found out that she had been misdirected, now panicked when Geraldy recognized her. Both of his eyes trembled, while the veins on his face seemed to stiffen. As soon as he was about to leave the place, a single shrill voice belonging to Aira suddenly stopped his steps.
"Please! Help us!"
Bima turned his head, then saw the figure of Aira who was still alive in quite severe conditions. Blood slowly flowed from his head. Her eyes were half closed and the teenage girl had almost lost her consciousness.
The next few seconds, in Bima's vision, Aira's face suddenly changed to the face of Alvin –His son. That's when, the pain mixed with tightness instantly ambushed Bima's chest mercilessly.
Bima who could not control herself anymore, with her mind suddenly dead-end, immediately stepped towards the car. He opened the door, then took out Aira – which he still saw as the figure of Alvin in his eyes. With his mind still scattered, he carried Aira's body and immediately fled to the Hospital to save his life.
Bimantara really hoped, that he would not be late.

1 Hour before the accident...
As soon as he saw Adryan's car coming out of Banu's Resort, Bima who had been waiting for him immediately followed him from behind using a truck. The day before, he had already known that Adryan, Regina, and Alvin would return to Banu Island for a vacation. Bima, who has long held a grudge against Regina and Adryan, immediately took the opportunity to avenge him by killing their lives all at once, including Alvin, his own biological son.
Seeing those who are able to live happily, when he is suffering, makes Bimantara Danadyaksa blinded by his heartache that is already unstoppable.
Bima continued to follow the car, until finally the car entered a house. Bima did not know what happened next, because the suspect of the house, immediately closed the gate high enough to block the view of Bima.
Bima waited patiently. Actually, he could have executed it during the trip, but when he saw the streets were so crowded with other vehicles, he said, making Bima have to hold back for a moment to then be able to find a more appropriate time.
Forty-five minutes later, Adryan's car was seen coming out of the house. Bima followed him again. At an unexpected moment, when the time is approaching night, the rain suddenly falls rapidly, and this situation can further smooth out the evil intentions of Bima to finish Adryan, Regina, off, and Alvin is easy.
Bima then plugged the gas and preceded Adryan's car. Once they were far enough away, Bima suddenly turned back the truck he was driving, and in an instant hit Adryan's car without mercy.

The answer that Rakha made, inexplicably made Arkha's petrified heart begin to soften. Arkha's face now no longer stiffened. His face slowly melted.

"Please, allow Ranha to come with Mama. Rakha here will do everything Papa wants, Rakha—"
"Did the woman come back and see you without Papa's knowledge?" Sela Arkha before Rakha could finish his sentence. She used the pronoun 'the woman' to refer to her ex-wife.
"Pa, I'm the same Ranha missed Mama so much all this time. But we harbored all of that to keep Papa feeling. And Papa should know... Mama never betrayed Papa."
Arkha was shocked after listening to Rakha's words. Actually, what has Evelyn Lim said to her children? Why would Rakha dare to say that to her? However, even though Rakha had already spoken the truth, Arkha refused to believe it.
"Did that woman tell you to tell Papa this?"
Rakha. His face was starting to look tired.
"Papa knows for himself, right? I have lived with my mother hating me all this time. And although Papa was always being rude to me, and always forcing Papa's every will, I never protested. Papa knows what? Because I thought, Papa's been sick enough for Mama's betrayal. But Mama didn't do anything wrong, Pa."
Arkha who was able to see the honesty in Rakha's eyes, slowly began to believe what her Son had just said. After all, he was also not so sure about his accusations against his former wife. In the past, he loved Evelyn Lim too much. The feeling of love that is so deep that it finally triggers his jealousy when he sees Evelyn always spend more time with her fellow athletes.
Rakha this time pulled out his phone, then showed an Instagram account owned by Dimas Aristo –atlit basketball that Arkha once thought as Evelyn's affair. Arkha immediately received Rakha's mobile phone, then saw one of the athlete's photos that looked happy with his wife and a child. Arkha knows who his wife is. He was Evelyn's favorite junior in college.
From there, Arkha began to be able to read what had actually happened in the past.

Harsa National Sport University, or more popularly called HNSU, is the best sports university. The university itself has spawned many leading sports leaders and elite athletes, as well as world-class calibre coaches. And the legendary Evelyn Lim is one of the alumni of HNSU.
Rakha turned around, then looked at her Papa who seemed to have admitted all her defeat.

The next day, on Sunday afternoon, Rakha gathered all her friends in the school field to deliver the news, that she had received approval from her father to be able to continue studying at Harsa National Sport University.
Rakha delivered the good news after they finished playing basketball. And as soon as Nico, Rio, and Natta found out, they immediately flooded Rakha with congratulations. They are also happy, because Rakha can finally continue her studies at the campus that has been her dream for a long time.
While they are doing a small celebration for Rakha's happiness, Yumi suddenly comes with Aira, Sheryl and Bia. Once joined by the men, Bia and Sheryl immediately took positions next to their respective partners. Bia and Sheryl spontaneously get a smile from Aira and Yumi.
"Congratulations, Kha!" Said Aira congratulating her while handing over a bottle of mineral water to Rakha. And the action that Aira had shown her just now, suddenly made Rakha feel like Deja vu. Rakha's memory suddenly turned back, when Aira first approached him in the field and gave him a bottle of mineral water after Rakha willingly replaced him out of class.
Rakha smiled, then received the water Aira gave her happily.
"Thanks, Ra."
Aira smiled back. After that, he sat next to Yumi who was then taking a position a bit away from the position of Rakha CS.
"Cong you say congratulations to Rakha?" Aira asked in a half whispered tone to Yumi. Lately, Aira starts to get a little suspicious as Yumi keeps avoiding Rakha since they returned from the new year holiday some time ago.
"Kc... Easy! Could later." Yumi replied reluctantly.
"Is there something I don't know?" This time, Aira tried to lure Yumi.
Hearing Aira's question, Yumi's two eyes immediately glared. He felt like he was caught off guard and suddenly caught.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Strangled Yumi with a pretty loud tone. Yumi's screech immediately attracted the attention of the others. What is 'something' Aira doesn't know? Why would Yumi have to hide something from Aira? Think Yumi.

Yumi's eyes were fixed on Rakha, who was looking at her while drinking Aira's drink. Kontan alone, Yumi increasingly felt wrong with the act of Rakha.
Yumi felt like she had made a big mistake. But wait, didn't Yumi really do 'a mistake'? He had kissed Rakha unbeknownst to Rakha that night. It was only natural that now he finally felt like he was about to be caught red-handed every time.
As the day went dark, they all dispersed immediately before being disbanded by the School Security. Aira walked hand in hand with Nico, while Rakha just followed them behind without making a single sound.
"Eh, Nic! Just get a little bit." Pinta Aira when accidentally saw the collar of Nico's jacket that did not fold well.
"Why?" Nico asked as he lowered his shoulders, following Aira's orders.
Aira then stretched out her hands, she slightly tiptoed in order to reach Nico's height. A moment later, he fixed the collar of Nico's rather unruly jacket.
"I'm not comfortable seeing something that doesn't work like this." Aira replied in a half-nagging tone while staying busy tidying up the collar of Nico's jacket.
In response to that, Nico immediately smiled as he hissed. The next second, both of his eyes were fixed on both of Aira's eyes, while silently admiring the girl's figure in his heart.
Then, when Aira distanced herself from Nico after completing her 'upbeat task', Nico suddenly felt a little disappointed. And that disappointment, was clearly drawn on her face even though Aira was unaware of it.
"Thank you, little brother..." Said Nico after successfully brushed off his disappointment while rubbing the back of Aira's head
Watching the romantic scenes performed by Aira and Nico, Rakha feels as if she has transformed into a miserable Second Male in a drama series.
Rakha then smiled sneering. To sneer at himself so stupid and awful.
