#24. Gift Coupons
"Aira, let's go!"
Said Nico excitedly as he opened the door of Aira's room. But as soon as he looked inside, and found Aira's room empty, Nico was astonished. Where did the girl go?
Nico went downstairs and saw his mother sitting at the dinner table reading a morning newspaper with a cup of warm tea in front of him.
"August, Nico!"
Nico did not answer. He walked over to the dinner table and sat down next to his mother.
"Why are you leaving, Ma? Where's aira?" Nico asked while taking a piece of whole wheat bread and then applying peanut butter on it.
"Papa Nana has gone first. He said Nana had business. That's why you go with Papa." Reply Regina while staying focused on reading the newspaper.
Hearing Mama's answer, Nico seemed to think. It's a normal situation, but somehow Nico feels something is awkward. It could have been that Aira called him to her room, and asked him to hurry up, but Aira did not do so and instead left first.
Not wanting to dwell anymore with all his disturbing thoughts, Nico immediately got up from his seat after finishing his breakfast. "Ma, Nico's leaving, huh?", said Nico as she peeked at Mama's cheek.
Before stepping away, Nico took the time to drink a glass of milk that had been prepared by Bu Ningsih. He walked out of the house and entered the car. At that time, Mr. Salim was waiting for him.
Once in the back seat, Nico found a paper bag containing a small pink gift box with a red ribbon. Just like Nana gave her the other day. It's just that the gift box that Nana gave him was black.
And yes, Nico just remembered that he had not opened the gift of Nana.
Nico's two eyebrows are linked when he sees the gift in the paper bag. He then grabbed it and without thinking long immediately opened it. It was a sporty black watch.

"We're going to play Dodgeball with them." Nana answered briefly while raising her chin towards Rakha's class. But the look in his eyes, right shot towards Aira.

Aira felt her phone vibrate while she was joking around with Rakha, Yumi, and Natta. Aira then stopped her laughter for a moment and checked her phone. He just received a chat from Nico.
Aira raised her face, then threw a glance towards the classroom window to look for Nico's figure. But he found no one. Aira then smiled to herself after reading a chat from Nico. I don't know when it started, but lately Nico does often bring out his childish side. And Aira likes it. It makes him feel that his old Nico has returned. Really back.
Then later, the incident in the early hours of this morning, when Nico stole his first kiss again greeted Aira's memory and made both cheeks feel hot without warning. Aira also touched her cheeks with both hands to minimize the heat. He shook his head many times, trying to get rid of those memories far from his head. After all, he had promised himself that he would only assume the early events were only part of his dream. Aira did not want to keep remembering it.

While Rakha who had been watching him since, and had peeked at the contents of the chat that Nico sent, was only able to sigh deeply and then exhale it so that his chest that began to feel tight, could be slightly filled.
This was the first time Rakha had seen Aira smiling like a person in a kasmaran. And for some reason, the twinkle in her eyes made her look beautiful. But alas, not Rakha the cause of that smile on her face. It wasn't Rakha who made her fall in love, and made both her eyes emit that radiance.
Rakha then smiled bitterly.
