#63. Graduation Celebration
Graduation day finally arrived. After completing a series of grueling ceremonies inside the building, all the students immediately rushed out to perform other celebrations with the people closest to them.
Both Nico's parents, and the parents of their other friends, chose to go home first after a photo session together to give their children a chance to get together. Aira who was then seeing Rakha came while carrying a large bouquet of flowers immediately approached the young man.
"Rakhaaah!!" Call Aira enthusiastically.
After the others realize Rakha's presence, they follow Aira behind one by one, including Nico.
"Selamet, huh, Ra?" Rakha said encouragingly as he handed over the bouquet of flowers he had brought since.
"Thank you, Kha!" Welcome Aira happily while receiving Rakha's bouquet of flowers.
"So today all I graduated was Aira, huh?" Ledek Sheryl upon seeing that Rakha really only brought one bouquet of flowers, and that was for Aira.
"You seven, and I'm alone. Bring seven bouquets of flowers with you. It's hard to take." Rakha replied casually. Every now and then his attention was on Yumi who was standing at the very back as if she wanted to hide from him.
Inwardly, Rakha justified Yumi's chosen action. Isn't it natural that Yumi finally felt awkward after their cuddling scene a week ago?
"Rakha, you're the best!" Said Bia who was still amazed by everything that Rakha had prepared for them.
When others were busy celebrating their graduation, the situation was inversely proportional to what felt by Nico and Yumi who were then just silent in their respective seats. Their attention was equally not spared from the figure of Rakha and Aira who seemed harmonious that day. They sat side by side while enjoying the excitement created by Sheryl, Natta, Bia and Rio.
"Ra, I took your appointment a week ago, right?" Rakha whispered in front of Aira's ears, trying to remind her that a week ago, Aira had promised her that they would walk together without their friends.
Aira immediately smiled considering the promise she had made with Rakha. Aira soon turned her head, then nodded with an increasingly wide smile for Rakha.
Nico, who had been observing Aira's movements, slowly but surely began to realize that Aira's attitude, Aira's eyes, and the way Aira smiled at Rakha really felt different. What the eye catches is not always true, but Nico knows that his conscience never once lied to him. Not once.
Nico knew Aira for most of his life, he memorized all of Aira's gestures, he could read into the girl's eyes. And what Nico saw and felt when he saw Aira and Rakha now was; nico was able to conclude that Rakha's unilateral love for Aira for many years, would soon be rewarded.
Nico smiled sorely. It's gamang for something that hasn't happened yet, but WILL DEFINITELY HAPPEN.
