Alesha was crying all the way. Until he runs out of breath himself. Stiffness, fear. That's what he feels.
Last year was such a frightening event for Alesha. She was afraid to hear something bad happen to her mother again.
She was afraid of failing to look after her mother. He was afraid that the only person he loved so much could not be saved and left him in this world alone.
Until the hospital, the doctor immediately took her to the ICU room. Alesha wanted to break into the room, but was eventually detained by a nurse.
"Please wait outside, Miss."
After that, the door was closed.
Alesha could only peek out the dimly lit glass door when the doctor with the help of two nurses paired her mother with various tools that Alesha did not know what her name was.
Alesha slowly retreated, unable to see anymore. He just stood leaning against the wall in front of the door squeezing his own fingers out of nervousness. Even his knuckles were now completely paled and cold.
Her mother's examination somehow went so long in the scope of her time. The girl drowned. So weak, he was unable to hold his body again and put his body on the floor.
He ruffled his own frustrated hair until it looked very messy. Abusive breathing, then muffling his own cries in the face of both hands.
His mind is really full.
How is his mother now?
Is he gonna be okay?
He would expect nothing more for himself. He just really hopes everything that happens to his mother will be okay. Is that a greedy hope?
A few minutes later, the doctor came out. Alesha who was sitting on the floor suddenly woke up and confronted the doctor.
"How's my mother doing, Doctor?"
The doctor looked at the patient's family with a glare, making the woman bite her lower lip in fear. "We are heavy-heartedly saying this to you, Miss."
"What happened to him?" With a trembling voice, Alesha ventured to ask the thing that had been circling in her head.
"Your mother's heart is getting weaker now. This can happen to people who have heart disease. This can be due to stress, shock, or the natural symptoms of a long-weakened decline in heart function."
The doctor explained briefly and clearly. However, then his look showed a less than good defensive expression.
"However, this could be a distress signal that could result in your mother's heart function declining drastically."
"Then?" Alesha whispered softly.
The doctor restrainedly confirmed his conclusion. "In other words, his life is in danger."
Alesha's tears came back hard after hearing the doctor's words.
The doctor immediately calmed Alesha down "However, you don't panic too much first, Miss. There's still hope and a way out of this."
Alesha's reflex hastily blocked the doctor's arm. "Hurry up, Doctor! How do I recover my mother?"
The doctor breathed heavily. "Your mother should be operated on immediately."
Alesha's body went limp for a moment. "Operation?" whispered doubt.
The doctor patted Alesha on the shoulder. "You can think about it first."
Just hearing that word alone had immediately made Alesha's head dizzy.
He swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. How did he pay for the expensive operation?
Alesha approached the room where her mother was lying stiff with hoses and tools attached to support her life. The woman closed her eyes.
This time alone, can he hope that the magic in his childhood tales really exists?
He hoped that a white riding prince would come to help him out of this matter.
'Lord, why has this ordeal not stopped approaching our family? Why give such a heavy ordeal? Why not give a severe illness to rich people who are even confused to throw money.'
'While I, have absolutely no money for operating expenses. Even my savings were only a little because all this time I only accompanied the sugar daddies without wanting to do ****. So, the money I got wasn't much.'
'Where did I get the money for my mom's surgery?' lirih Alesha who is currently really very desperate.
The sound of an electrocardiogram resounded throughout the room where the middle-aged woman was lying helplessly.
Meanwhile, Alesha could only stare at her mother from a distance with her sore eyes and puffy face, all the while wondering when the woman she had given birth to and loved so much would open her eyes.
The critical state of her mother made Alesha's heart sliced. Moreover, he had no power to save the woman. He doesn't have much money. He did not even have the strength, or even the ability to heal himself. Everything is in God's hands.
The only way he can still try is to find operating costs as quickly as possible. However, Alesha is completely confused to think about how she can get that much money for her mother's surgery in the near future.
While the money he made during this time could only afford to pay for his routine heart control treatment for a full year. The rest of his savings will soon run out for his mother's treatment in the hospital at this time.
In his mind came the names of his friends, Ayla, Edina, and Faizah. Alesha wondered if she should ask her three friends for help.
However, given their extravagant lives compared to the cost of such an expensive operation and treatment, he was increasingly hesitant.
Alesha then recalled her meeting with the rich man this afternoon. After shaking hands at the Mall, she automatically became her sugar baby just like the man had offered. Then it's okay, right, if Alesha wants to borrow more money this time?
The woman wet her lips, a little nervous, she reached into the sleeping bag hiding behind her cardigans and took out a business card belonging to a man who was the CEO of a large company.
With his cold fingers, he put the phone number on the business card on his new contact list.
Slightly hesitating, Alesha hung her thumb in front of the call icon. He bit his lips. Be anxious about whether or not his call will be welcomed.
Then in the end he decided to press the call icon.
The call rang, half a minute waiting, no answer from across there.
Alesha again pressed her call icon. One time, the call was missed again. Twice, the results are exactly the same. Three times, four times, until Alesha did not realize how many times. Still no answer from his call.
The woman stopped her fingers as she was about to press back the call. He woke up, then sighed with rage. He's done too much, no matter how many times. What if that person ends up not helping her?
He resigned his steps until he stopped sitting in the patient's waiting chair. The woman was twitching her increasingly dizzy temples.
Maybe it's not time for a miracle to come to him yet.
Alesha leaned her head against the wall. He then closed his increasingly heavy eyes along with tears that re-seeped from between his beautiful eyelids.
