Rafael just got home after working all day at the office. He stretched the tie and called the mother who was struggling in the kitchen.

Rafael looked surprised when he saw that there were many dishes at the dining table and also some snacks such as going to receive a large guest.

“Ma, what is this event? Why so many foods?”

“Didn't Mama tell you before? That would invite your ex-wife and her husband to dinner in this house.”

"Aeleasha and Arsenio?" Rafael knew that, but never expected it today.

“Yes, Mama can't wait to meet them. Mama also invited Alesha to attend.”

After that, the phone connection ended and Rafael now put the phone in his pants pocket.

“Alesha can't come. Her mother's condition is declining. His voice sounded agitated and full of worries.”

Tiana who was very surprised because she never thought if the candidate for iron again experienced bad times. “How can? Isn't there a lot of doctors who handle?”

“Entahlah. I will also come there to meet Alesha. She must be sad and needs me.”

“Alright, no problem, but you have to come to dinner first.” Tiana of course felt bad for the former daughter-in-law if her son was not there to welcome their arrival.

Meanwhile, Willy just shook his head slowly. “Sorry, Mom. I just ate at the office with my partner.”

"Rafael, wait! Don't be like that!" shouted Tiana who was still trying to stop the attitude of her son who did as he pleased.

Rafael did not care at all about the mother's ban because he immediately grabbed the car keys to go to the hospital.

Coincidentally, when Rafael's car came out of his yard, Arsenio's car went in there and stopped in front of the entrance.

Aeleasha came down in curiosity and called Rafael to ask, but unfortunately there was no answer. Until he saw the middle-aged woman who had been very dear to come out of the house and let them in.

“Aeleasha, sorry. Rafael has just come out to see his future father-in-law who is relapsing in the hospital." Tiana actually felt very uneasy by displaying a gloomy face.

“No problem. I'm glad Mama still wants to invite me to come.” Aeleasha now gently rubbed the middle-aged woman's back as she felt a warm embrace."Mama must have missed me so much, didn't she?"

“Of course, what are you talking about. Like doubting my love as a mother. Come on, come in and we'll eat together.” Tiana now let go of her embrace and walked in front because she wanted to take dinner directly. Especially when the food is ready.

Meanwhile, Rafael is on his way to the hospital. His feelings were relieved that he did not have to look at his ex-wife.

He deliberately went and used Alesha as an excuse. Arriving at the hospital, Rafael sees Alesha sitting next to a gurney with her eyes fixed on her mother who is still closing her eyes.

Rafael approached and touched Alesha's shoulder.

Meanwhile, Alesha looked up. His face was now staring at Rafael. He stood up, then took the man to sit and talk in the waiting chair in front of the room.

“Why did you come?” Alesha is very surprised by the sudden arrival of Rafael who is known to have an appointment with his ex-wife.

“I want to be here to accompany you waiting for mom.” Willy answered briefly and landed his body in the care bed of the would-be-in-law.

“Then, how was the dinner?” Alesha wiped the tears that had adorned the face because she did not want to look weak in front of Rafael.

“I told my mom. I'm sure everyone will understand how you are.”

“But ...“ Alesha really felt bad for ruining Rafael's family dinner.

“Already! I don't have a problem with that. So, how's your mom doing?” Rafael tries to divert the conversation because he is lazy to discuss things that make him hurt.

Alesha explained without distracting from the middle-aged woman who was very dear to her. “Mother just got the medicine from the doctor, after her condition decreased this afternoon.”

“I'm concerned, then what about your lecture?” Rafael intends to cheer up, but his own mood is not fine.

Alesha now just sniffed her shoulders. “Ya, as you know, lately it has become more and more crowded with tasks. I'm not even sure I can continue all this.”

“Why?” Rafael narrowed his eyes with Alesha's reply which was not like there was no spirit.

"Mother needs me here" said Alesha softly, staring intensely at the mother's pale face.

“Relax, I'll pay the nurse to accompany her. You just need to focus on college.” Of course Rafael felt pity and did not have the heart to see that grim face.
