For a while, neither Bima nor Seruni's mother, no one had spoken yet. They are all busy with their minds. Perhaps, too, busy to string together what words fit with this sudden meeting.
"What's up, Madam?" tanya Seruni broke the silence that had ambushed.
"Before, I wanted to express my condolences to your mother's death. I'm so sorry."
"Thank you." Seruni replied briefly. He believes one hundred percent, the arrival of the rich man did not necessarily want only condolences.
"You still live here? I mean, are you ..."
"I came home only for the seven-day event of my mother's death, Madam. After this, I'll probably sell the house. I'm going back to Jakarta." Didn't mean to interrupt, but Seruni was sure that's what the rich man's wife was going to ask.
"That's right my daughter said, you're migrating to Jakarta just like Bima."
"Certainly different, ma'am. Maybe the city is the same, but obviously the place is different, very contrasting. I'm just an ordinary person obviously different from the Madam's son."
As if to know again what was being thought by Bima's mother, Seruni again made the woman nod.
"Alright, you're pretty smart as it turns out, Seruni. I know you, just for a quick glance, because your mother used to work on my husband's estate. And I just saw you this close enough."
"Mrs ... Please, cut this stale base. Just tell me what the madam wants to say. Really, I don't mean to interrupt, but anyway, it's not that there's no specific purpose for the moment that Madam comes here. Better the madam say it directly."
Madam Tono was silent for a moment. He thought, Seruni is a quiet girl who will not talk much let alone be able to say that loud. In fact, he was dealing with a woman who was full of eating the salt acid of life, although Seruni said slowly, but the meaning of his words was so firm as to be indisputable.
"Alright, Seruni. I just want to know what's the connection between you and my son? I think Bima came back to the village because she really wanted to vacation and miss her family, but it turns out she often came here. He's seen you often."
"Madam is right, regardless of Bima's interest in this village, but almost every day she always comes to this hut. Even though I never hugged him even though I never expected him to come. So obviously, Bima and I have nothing to do. Madam take it easy, I'm not a threat to your family. I'm not worth the Madam's family. And maybe, Madam can advise Bima to stop bothering me. So the mistress's thought fox is also the people closest to the Madam, not me who bothers Bima but the son of Nyonya who always comes to me."
Madam Tono was silent a thousand languages a moment, she herself was like she was at a loss for words.
"People closest to me?"
"Yes, Barrel. I know she's the one who complained about the things that were not-nothing about me to Madam. Too bad, a person of respected rank and uniform, as a prominent civil servant in this village, Laras failed to keep the words that came out of his mouth about me."
"Hey, don't talk that way about my daughter! He never spoke!"
This time Madam Tono was silent again. True, said Laras, Seruni teased Bima, said Laras, Seruni a worker****commercial in town.
"Alright, I think our conversation got here. I just want you to stay away from my son because besides we're not the same, he's got a wife who's worth our family."
Then Madam Tono stepped up, towards the car with the driver who was waiting for her.
"You should have told your son not to haunt me anymore!" hiss Seruni slowly turned around and entered his house. He took a deep breath, from the first biggest ordeal in Seruni life was indeed Bima. Yes, Bima!

Seruni's return to Jakarta was delayed by a few days. He has to take care of the sale of the house. A neighbor bought the house. So it took a few days for Seruni to return to Jakarta.
At that time, it rained again. Seruni who was in public transport was forced to walk to his house because the angkot tire suddenly leaked. Unfortunately, Seruni had to stop again at the uninhabited house to take shelter.
It turned out that at that time he was not aware that Bima was also in the shade, Seruni just saw there was a motor beside the building. It was almost like Seruni wanted to step out but Bima held him back.
"Rain, Run, take shelter first."
"Stay away from me, Bim. I remember those painful memories every time I see you. Especially in this place!"
The cold tone of Seruni's voice made Bima shift her body. He did not want, Seruni recklessly broke through the rain because it was stuck with him again in times of rain like this. The atmosphere of the village was indeed quiet, especially when it rained like this, although it was still afternoon.
Seruni turned to look for a moment, at the bamboo room that was still there. His eyes suddenly warmed. However, Seruni as soon as possible prevented the tears from falling.
Then when the rain began to subside, Bima invited Seruni to ride on his motorbike.
"I can go home alone," rejected Seruni coldly.
Bima did not want to force, even though he wanted to take Seruni home. However, it seemed, the door of Seruni's heart had indeed been sealed shut for him. But Bima came back down from his bike, he opened the jacket and approached Seruni, putting it on Seruni's shoulder. Seruni looked up, almost escaping tears when he looked at Bima again. Indeed, the taste is still there, really still is. But Seruni's hatred now took on a bigger role.
Bima returned to his bike and Seruni let him go. Seruni would not want to close the jacket because the cold began to attack him. Then Seruni's view captured Bima's watch that was left behind, probably because it was wet so he dried it by hanging it.
Seruni grabbed the watch again. Nothing happened to him and Bima just now, but it went back into his hands.
