"Xavier's coming home today?"
Sera widened her eyes, the book she was holding in her hand was directly placed onto the sofa beside her body.
The waiter nodded his head, looking all wrong.
"Rubber, Mistress. Doctor Nathan called the butler to prepare everything. The notice was sudden, only about an hour ago." The waiter swallowed his saliva. "W-we didn't inform the Madam because we thought the Madam had been told," he said later in a timid tone.
Sera let out a long sigh when she realized the awkwardness of the maid, she immediately nodded her head.
"Oh, yes. Doctor Nathan must have called me to tell you this information. But unfortunately, I left my phone in the room." Sera lied to save his face. In fact, his phone this morning was stored in his pocket and never sounded at all, a sign that no one had contacted him.
Sera managed to cover up her feelings well, then put a smile towards the maid.
"Thank you for the information. You can go." In a flat voice, Sera allowed the servant to leave. However, there were many things that the servant had to do and it was better that Sera would not keep him here.
After the waiter died, Sera leaned her body on the back of the sofa and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down.
It's no one's fault that no one told him. Sera was sure, what happened was exactly as the waiter had said. They had not deliberately ignored Xavier's information about his return, but they felt they did not need to tell him because they thought that Sera - Xavier's wife - must have been told.
As long as Xavier was in the hospital and Sera stayed in this house without her husband, the servants always treated her with courtesy, kindness and respect, there is absolutely no difference in the presence of Xavier or not in this house and Sera believes it all happened on Xavier's instructions.
But why was he not informed of Xavier's return by the hospital?
In fact, Dr. Nathan only informed the waiter and said nothing to him.
Does Doctor Nathan probably think that the butler will tell Sera later? Or was Sera deliberately not informed by Xavier's orders?
A waiter who passed by quickly and passed where Sera was sitting while carrying a pile of thick blankets and a set of clean sheets made Sera's attention distracted. At that moment, Sera realized that the door of the main guest room located in the front area of the house, close to the living room, had been opened wide.
The waiters seemed busy walking in and out of the guest room door. From where Sera was sitting right now, it could be seen that the maids were busy cleaning up the dust in the room, they also replace bed linen and window blinds that are then opened wide to send sunlight in and remove the stuffy and humid air from the room. In fact, it appears that one of the servants entered the room while carrying a large vase containing a fresh and fragrant lily flower arrangement freshly picked.
It was as if the room was being prepared for someone to occupy....
Bad premonition immediately ambushed Sera's inner, making her stunned from her sitting position and immediately rise to her feet before then stepping towards the doorway of the room.
This time, Sera acted like she knew everything so as not to embarrass herself in front of the servants like the previous events. He restrained himself with all his might so as not to ask the question as to who the room was prepared for because he could already guess the answer.
Sera put on an ordinary expression, then asked in passing.
"Oh? Is the room cleaning ready?" Sera looked up from the doorway, making the busy servants turn their heads towards her.
One of the oldest servants put on his smile, looking radiant.
"Yes Madam, because Mr. Xavier had to use a wheelchair for some time and could not stay in a second-floor room, we have orders that Mr. Xavier will occupy this room and be asked to prepare a guest room for him. That's why we rushed to prepare this room according to Mr. Xavier's taste. All bright and white, we even had time to pluck the fresh lily of Mr. Xavier's favorite to welcome his return."
So, Xavier would use the guest room downstairs, and chose to hand over his private room on the second floor to be used by Sera alone. The reason is very rational, because Xavier had to use a wheelchair for a while. However, Sera knew that the reason was not just that.
Xavier had applied what he had said before. The man said that he would never touch Sera again, except at conception and separating the rooms was one of Xavier's ways of not touching Sera again.
The thought that Xavier wouldn't touch her other than for transactional fertilization troubled Sera's mind and somehow made her chest ache. Therefore, Sera immediately turned her attention towards the cheerful faces of the servants and raised her eyebrows.
The servants, both men and women, even the bodyguards who are usually expressionless though, all seemed excited to welcome Xavier's return from the hospital.
Why are they happy? Didn't Xavier always describe the relationship between himself and all his employees as the relationship between the devil and the humans who are entangled in his neck and can be killed at any time?
Xavier even said that he poisoned all his employees as a guarantee of their loyalty and loyalty to him.
If these people showed their loyalty just because their lives depended on Xavier, they shouldn't be this happy when Xavier came home from the hospital, right?
"You're all without being happy and excited." Sera smiled, couldn't bear to not comment.
His smile was answered by the servants.
"Of course, Madam. Mr. Xavier is recovering and can come home from the hospital, isn't that something worth celebrating?" The servant's voice sounded sincere, his gratitude beyond doubt.
Sera frowned, then finally decided to ask frankly.
"All of you who work here, must know who the real Xavier Light is, right? Do... you don't feel afraid?" ask her with caution.
The servants looked at each other, then finally there was one who dared to answer.
"I've been working here five years, ma'am. At the beginning of my entry here, I was very frightened, especially when I had to be injected with poison as a guarantee of my loyalty. My days are terrible, because if Mr. Xavier decides to eliminate the bad guys in this house, then we're the ones who take care of the missed things cleaned up by Mr.'s cleaning team."
The servant then looked up at Sera, stared intently before continuing. "But one day, the husband had a terrible accident and was seriously injured. I had no money to finance the operation and I finally came to ask Mr. Xavier for help at the risk of my life. She immediately took care of everything, moved my husband to a better health facility and cleaned up the process so that my husband got his surgery under the care of an expert doctor, until fully healed as before. From then on I thought that Mr. Xavier was a good man, he was cruel to bad people and traitors."
"He always remembers our birthdays and never gets the date wrong. He never missed saying happy birthday and also with the royal to give a salary bonus that is quite large." One of the other servants sounded excited. "Even he remembers our children's birthdays and always leaves small gifts such as toys or school supplies for them as birthday gifts."
"He never forgets to thank even the smallest help. It makes us the workers here, feel so appreciated." Others voiced their opinions.
"And he's very handsome. Especially when he smiles." One of the young female servants suddenly replied and immediately blushed in embarrassment as the others immediately threw a warning look at him. "I-I'm sorry Madam, I applaud Mr. Xavier's good looks not with more intent. I have a husband that I love very much. I just admire Mr. Xavier's physical good looks like admiring an extraordinarily beautiful masterpiece, nothing more." The servant immediately tried to explain, his voice stammered with fear.
Sera nodded her head and smiled. He could not blame those women who were fascinated to Xavier's physical good looks. After all, the man had facial and bodily beauty that weakened the hearts of any woman, including Sera herself.
"It's okay, I'm glad you guys are being loyal to your Master" he replied calmly, then moved his hand slightly as a gesture of retreat. "Please continue with your work, I won't bother you anymore."
After saying that, Sera turned her body, then stepped up the doorway of the guest room and climbed the stairs to get to her room.
Now, he gains new knowledge, that even though Xavier is seen as terrible out there as a merciless, vile executioner, it turns out in his own home, in the eyes of his employees, that he is not, Xavier is seen as an angel.

When the afternoon was greeted by last night melding into the darkness that hugged him, Xavier's car finally arrived home, a little later than originally scheduled.
Sera did not come down, nor did she come to welcome. If indeed Xavier had no intention of informing Sera of his arrival, it meant that Xavier did not need Sera to welcome him.
Even so, Sera could not help but peek out of the window when she heard the frenzy below as the host finally returned home.
From the second floor, he could see how Xavier's car was sliding slowly through the gate of the house, then across a large expanse of garden in the front area before disappearing under the roof dome of the front lobby area of the house.
Xavier's home.
Somehow Sera's heart was pounding with anticipation, as if, adrenaline was gushing violently from her bloodstream, making her chest claustrophobic by something she couldn't describe.
Sera closed the window curtain where she peeked, then she stepped back and sat her body on the sofa, trying to calm herself down.
Why is he so nervous? Didn't Xavier clearly point out that he didn't want to deal with Sera any more than to do transactional fertilization for the sake of their deal?
Even the servants had brought all of Xavier's clothes from the closet in this second-floor room and moved them to Xavier's new room on the first floor. Wasn't that a real signal to Sera that she shouldn't involve matters of the heart in their relationship?
But for some reason there was a gushing wound in his heart, falling out leaving small, painful holes. This unpleasant feeling is a painful feeling of being rejected. And Sera, who over the past years has lived as an outlet for Samantha Dawn's hatred, knows for sure that the pain of being rejected is very hard to heal.
The knocking sound on the door that sounded suddenly made Sera gasp. He turned his head towards the door of his room and finally asked in a weak voice.
"Who?"
"Mrs Light." The voice of a servant sounded from outside the door. "Evening is ready, Mr. Light asks you to come down for dinner together."

"How are you doing?"
Currently, Aaron is arguably fully recovered, some days he can even move freely and walk around the room without feeling sick.
When Aaron was allowed out of the room and took a free walk outside, he realized that he was placed in a small cottage on the edge of a lake that is quite remote. There are several bodyguards on guard complete with servants who do cleaning, cooking and serving all the needs of Aaron, even a medical personnel also visit in every period to check his condition.
It seems, Dimitri deliberately hid Aaron in this remote place so that he was not tracked by Xavier Light. Dimitri himself had never come back since they shook hands to mark their fellowship. Only this time the man came, at night when Aaron was about to go to sleep because of boredom and there was no activity that could be done in this remote place.
Aaron rose from his seat, revealed his blanket and stood up.
"I'm fine" he said in a reassuring tone of voice.
Dimitri raised his eyebrows, he looked relaxed as he scanned Aaron, then nodded his head as if agreeing with what the man revealed.
"good. If you're fully recovered, then you've definitely made your next move, haven't you?" ask her with a probing tone of voice.
"It." Aaron returned. "I want to be sent back to Russia to take care of the inheritance of the Dawn Family and gather strength, then I will return to take revenge."
Dimitri thinned lips. There was a sense of annoyance in his heart because the useless man in front of him had even got the antidote from Xavier to heal properly, while not only was he still in a poisoned condition, but he was still poisoned, but it also got more unlucky because it was infiltrated by a bomb that could explode at any time on his body.
Really, sometimes a fool is indeed more endowed with luck as an advantage.
"You want to go back for revenge? After I weighed in, I decided not to force you into an alliance with me. I do have a problem with Xavier Light that I have to clear up. However, judging from your case, your affair with Xavier Light should have been settled. You've got the antidote for the poison and are free to waltz back into your country, why are you seeking revenge?" Dimitri's eyes narrowed in half a glance. "Of course you're not a filial foster kid who's eager for revenge on behalf of your uncle and aunt who Xavier killed, right? Or... are you vengeful because your lover was taken by Xavier?"
"Sera is not my lover. He's just a pet who's unfaithful to his master." Aaron's expression darkened. "He's one of the people I'm going to teach you a lesson about betraying me. As well as Xavier Light, that man had poisoned me, made me sick, kept me captive, intended to kill me and had me beaten by his men. I'll never forget all the humiliation he's given." Aaron's breathing was somewhat stifled due to emotions. "I know that the damn Xavier Light failed to die when I had him in the heart. This time he may be lucky, but the second time when I have gathered my strength to resist and give him punishment, I will gladly step on his head under my shoes. If that time comes, I swear that Xavier Light won't survive."

Sera's footsteps were a little hesitant when she reached the doorstep of the dining room where Xavier was said to have been waiting for her to have dinner together.
Sera begins to regret her decision to go down for dinner together. He looked down, looked at his own feet and did not want to raise his head to see Xavier there. Instead, he wished he had flying shoes that would lead him to turn around and leave the dining room as fast as lightning.
Unfortunately, Sera's thought of escaping it seemed to be too late. Xavier's watchful eyes had already seen his presence and the man immediately greeted politely.
"Sit, Sera. Let's have dinner together."
The call sounded formal and was said intentionally so that Sera felt bad to refuse.
Unable to do anything else, Sera finally stepped into the dining room. He saw Xavier who looked a little thinner than he should have with his pale porcelain skin surface. The man sat on a wheelchair and his wheelchair was placed at the head of the table. Meanwhile, a variety of delicious dishes to welcome his return have been presented complete on the dining table.
"Sit down and eat, Sera. I can't spend all this on my own, maybe we'll have the waiters join in to spend it all, but before that, I'd like to have a meal with you first while having a conversation." The man pointed at a chair closest to him at the table, ruling in a subtle but indisputable manner.
Inevitably, Sera stepped closer to the dining table, but as a form of rebellion, she did not occupy the seat appointed by Xavier for her, instead occupying another seat that was at odds two seats away from Xavier's position.
His defiant attitude immediately made Xavier comment on a smile, but did not comment. The man beckoned Sera to take some food and start eating.
Sera, according to Sera, chose to fill her stomach first because she happened to be hungry. All the dishes presented there are certainly delicious, especially this time the menu is deliberately made for celebration. But Sera's appetite somehow could not be raised by the delicious look of the food, which is why she ended up taking the various kinds of menus randomly and putting them on her plate, before then eating it rigidly like a robot.
Sera tries to focus on her food chews and ignores Xavier, but she knows that the man is watching her.
"You look healthy and fine," Xavier finally commented, commenting on the smile on his lips.
Sera was finally willing to raise her gaze and look towards Xavier.
"of course. I've had a lot of fun and relax these past few days. I also had good food that filled my nutrition. Thank you," said Sera while slipping a cynical tone in her voice.
Xavier grinned as if Sera's innuendo had no bearing on him.
"good. You have to prepare your body for the fertilization of the period ahead. The body of a healthy future mother needs complete nutrition as a field for the preparation of seeding, it should also be supported by the climate of good mood of the future mother. Those two things, plus the healthy seeds from me, will determine our success." Xavier put down his fork and looked at Sera sharply. "Doctor Nathan told you, didn't he? For this period of time we are forced to miss it because I have not recovered properly. So, we have to prepare well for the future, so that the next one really works."
"Okay, Xavier." Sera answered slowly, her hand grip on her tableware tightened, but she chose to put on a flat face to cover up her feelings.
"You why?" Xavier's question suddenly echoed in the air after the man had spent some time watching Sera.
This time it was Sera's turn to put down her tableware and look at Xavier coldly.
"Why are you asking? I'm okay," he said.
Xavier tilted his head and watched Sera with a fixed look. The man seemed more than ready to ignite the flames of contention and create conflict between them in order to hate each other.
"Well, you look angry." Xavier's grin is getting wider. "What makes you angry Serafina Moon? Is it because I didn't tell you about my return, or because I chose to part ways with you?" Xavier watched Sera with a lofty look of condescension. "You shouldn't be distracted by such things because we've agreed to a transactional relationship. But, seeing you grumbling like a sulking lover, I wondered, is it not so bad, you're actually in love with me?"
