“Credence has come.”
Akram said so as Xavier stepped in. The room was once a VIP living room on the floor of this hospital which is now automatically converted into an Akram and Xavier workspace because their wife and children are being treated here.
It's late at night and most of the humans in this building must have been asleep in their sleep. Only the doctors and nurses and the employees on duty at night seemed to have to keep getting up until the morning, that is all coupled with the bodyguards Xavier and Akram who still have to be on standby to deal with various possibilities that could happen.
Both Akram and Xavier certainly cannot sleep peacefully today. They were currently facing a dark path that found a bright spot. In addition to the condition of Nathan's doctor who still has not shown significant development, the pursuit of Aaron has not gained enlightenment.
It's been more than a day since the accident that gave way for Aaron to escape yesterday morning. Until now, when the night was approaching again the next day, the man was apparently still so slippery that the high-powered search team sent by Xavier could not find any clues as to his whereabouts.
“Did Credence take Sabina with him?” Xavier asked calmly. Credence may have called him on his way to the country to inform him of his arrival. However, Xavier was with Sera earlier and decided to turn off his phone so as not to disturb Sera who was being embraced and foamed in order to fall asleep.
“Yes. She brought Sabina with her.” Akram. Since Xavier could not be reached, it seemed that Credence decided to inform Akram of his arrival.
Akram then glanced at his watch and frowned thoughtfully. “Private jet arrived at the airport half an hour ago. I think, right now he's on his way here.”
“Good. Because I need Sabina for my next plan.” Xavier muttered slowly, then took a seat on the large sofa that was in front of Akram.
Sitting opposite him, Akram is seen reading the report sent by his men. The mattress has been removed and sloppily attached to the back of the sofa, as well as the tie. While the black shirt he wore had opened two buttons on the top.
Akram looks messy. As soon as it worked out, the man seemed to have directly slid from his company into this hospital. His hair looked messy and there was a hint of a dark pseudo wrapped around his eyes.
“You look tired.” Xavier took a seat in front of Akram and watched his adopted sister.
Akram's lips covered a smile full of irony. The man rubbed his face with his palm and stroked.
“Zac is a little fussy at home. He started to miss his mother and was very sensitive. The slight incompatibility made her cry out loud. I'm thinking of moving Zac here for a while until Elana and Xelena can go home. At least we had a long time to spend together in the hospital and I didn't have to go back and forth from the office to the house, then go back to the hospital again and turn around like that.”
Xelena is the name chosen by Akram and Elana as the name of their child. The choice was determined by the simple thought, that the names Zachary and Xelena have the same meaning: moon. Perhaps, both Akram and Elana adapt the philosophy of the name to the surname Akram which means ‘night’ and wish their two children a bright month on their night, he said, children who are able to illuminate their lives.
“How is the condition of Xelena?” Xavier asked attentively. Lastly, the amazingly beautiful baby is still in the NICU room with her twin daughters. However, today Xelena has apparently been allowed out of the incubator and can sleep in the crib in the nursery with her mother.
Akram grinned widely, his expression appearing soft and radiant. If people saw Akram's current face, they would definitely not have expected that this man was a dark man with the same dark aura that many people feared.
“Xel is really a real beautiful princess,” Akram apparently used to be haphazard by mentioning the front of her son's name only. “She is very calm, and spends her time in deep sleep. She simply got up to suckle, showed off her beautiful clear eyes while staring at people, then went to sleep again soundly. I will never be content to hold and hold her. Elana scolded me because she said I would make Xelena used to being carried and would not want to be placed in her crib.” Akram answered quickly and his eyes seemed to soften. “The development of the child is so rapid that his weight increases rapidly I think, he will grow up in a blink of an eye.”
Akram's smile seemed to widen when talking about his son. The man then watched Xavier and asked, “You alone, what about the twins?”
This time, Xavier's face changed and the man also put on a happy grin like a fool, similar to the one displayed by Akram earlier.
“They grow fast and fine.” Xavier replied in a sure tone, his sentence was short but could not hide the grateful tone imprinted there. She had just visited the nursery before approaching Akram in this room, and her heart grew full of happiness seeing her two daughters sleeping quietly and soundly in the incubator. “I hope, just like Xelena, the twins can also quickly get out of the incubator and can be hugged freely by us.”
The peaceful situation of the two men who were talking about their children who were surrounding Akram and Xavier was certainly impossible to imagine by the two of them in the past. Both Akram and Xavier used to think that even though they were at peace, when they spent time together talking, their conversation was certainly about something dark and creepy, such as the discussion of the supply of weapons, the underground world, or even about hitmen and cruel but effective methods to defeat the enemy.
Who would have thought that Akram and Xavier would sit together and smile at each other like happy fathers and talk about their children and their families?
The future is not known, sometimes there is a turning point that turns out to have a big effect and create unexpected changes in someone's life. Likewise in the life of Akram and Xavier today, the presence of women who have their hearts and make them fall in love, has turned them into a much better male figure than before. One thing is for sure, Akram and Xavier for now have the same goal: protecting their families.
“I get reports from all over the CCTV in all areas covering the perimeter with a central point on the highway where the accidental accident by Aaron occurred. My men were checking all the records that happened in the break after the accident until now, but they didn't find any movement Aaron at all. Either he hides under a tanag, or he turns his face again in disguise so that it goes unrecognized.” Akram's voice sounded serious later. He knew that they would have to settle the matter immediately if they wanted their family life to be quiet in the future. Aaron is a kind of stubborn bully who unexpectedly, turns out to be unusually slippery and difficult to catch.
If Aaron can't be cleared up, they won't be able to breathe a sigh of relief and will be filled with misgivings all the time.
“You said you needed Sabina. What's your plan?” Akram asked again when he saw Xavier's expression that seemed to be thinking.
“I'm thinking of launching a bait war.” Xavier calmed down.
“Temple war? What do you mean?”
“You know, Aaron can't possibly hide forever. The main purpose of doing all this effort, was to approach Sera and even take Sera away from me. Right now I'm sure he's not relaxing or resting in hiding. Aaron must have moved swiftly to carry out his plan with one goal that is to get Sera.”
Akram frowned deeply.
“You said bait war?” Akram's expression looked dark. “Don't tell me that you're going to use your own wife as bait to lure Aaron?” he asked in disbelief.
Xavier grinned.
“Well, even though Sera was the best bait for Aaron, I still couldn't use it as a live feed. I love my wife too much to feed her to a jerk like Aaron.”
“Then, what do you mean by bait war?” Akram replied again in an impatient tone.
“Because I can't use Sera directly, then I'll make it an indirect feed.” There was as much guilt in Xavier's mind, but the man swallowed it. “By utilizing Sabina.”
“Sabina has no effect on Aaron. You know for yourself, don't you? Although they have an emotional bond formed when Aaron is trapped in this country and Aaron has a debt of gratitude to Sabina who saved his life as well as helped him escape, in fact it was not enough to lure Aaron came closer and bring himself.” Akram repeated his explanation while staring at Xavier half-confusedly. “For months Sabina was in Russia, in flashy locations that Aaron would have known, but the man did not try to contact and come to Sabina.”
“I think Aaron chose the safest decision by not contacting Sabina when in Russia. He had facial surgery and he was about to enter the country with a fake identity he stole. Contacting Sabina would only expose her disguise risk. After all, the Russian underworld is ruled by Dimitri who has a close relationship with us.” Xavier expressed his opinion in a calm manner. “However, everything will be different with this plan of mine. I'm sure, if we take advantage of Sabina and use Sera as indirect bait, we can lure Aaron to come to us.”
“How are your plans?” Akram advanced his body to hear further, becoming interested in what Xavier was about to say.
“With Sabina present here, I will spread the news that Sabina came to kill Sera out of revenge. I'll make sure the news gets to Aaron. Anyway, I'm sure Aaron has contacts in the underground world that help him, otherwise the man would not have been able to find a safe hiding place in this country so easily. Sabina we still control with the chip in her brain stem. So, if Aaron heard that Sabina was coming to kill Sera, he would definitely be lured to contact Sabina. At that time we will make plans to ambush him.”
“I think that's a good plan. I will begin to spread rumors of Sabina's arrival coming to avenge Sera in the underground world. I hope it can reach Aaron's ears soon and make him appear.”
Xavier watched over Akram's tired-looking face, then the man finally spoke in a sincere tone that was unbearable.
“Thank you, Akram.”
Akram raised an eyebrow, surprised that Xavier had suddenly thanked him.
“I'm glad to receive a thank you from you, but why did you suddenly say it?” Familiar with Xavier, the man prefers to thank him by using actions and always feels awkward if he has to express it in words. The fact that Xavier thanked him, showed that the man really felt what he said sincerely.
Xavier smiles. “Maybe more true, I have to say thank you at once sorry to you.” The man let out a long breath as he spoke. “You should be able to calm down with Elana, Zac and Xel without having to be preoccupied with Aaron's shit business. But look at you now, you seem tired of having to double as the company's leader, a good father and also having to help me chase Aaron.”
“Not a problem for me. Did you forget that I used to be a workaholic man who spent almost twenty hours a day working? Maybe I've repented for my family and loosened my working hours more for my health as well. However, once in a while going back to a long period of work is not a problem. Let's just say I was exercising and testing my physical strength.” Akram chuckled, but before long his expression turned solemn as he gazed towards Xavier. “You and Sera and your children are my family, Xavier. You certainly still remember the principles taught by our father, don't you?”
The fact that Akram calls Baron Night ‘our father’ makes Xavier smile.
“Of course I remember,” Xavier replied in a meaningful tone. “The enemy of one of the family members is the enemy of the whole family,” he replied later, mentioning the principles instilled by their father in the past with no faults.

Night was approaching and Aaron had not rested at all since he came out in disguise last afternoon.
He is currently sitting on a park chair and watching. He has not yet put the face of the head nurse at the health facility where Sera's father was treated.
He knew he couldn't rush it.
After all, the head nurse was still alive, still healthy and still going to work as usual every day. With the presence of the head nurse named Thomas who always entered work at the health facility where Sera's father was treated, the, of course Aaron could not come suddenly with Thomas's face disguised on his face.
Because, if there are two Thomas caught in this place, his disguise will be discovered immediately and thwart everything.
Therefore, Aaron decided to put on his face one of the face masks provided by doctor Rasputin as his disguise today. The face he was wearing was the face of the middle-aged man made by doctor Rasputin for him.
The face of this man is not identified, and is not made to imitate any human being in this country. Dr. Rasputin made this face with high consideration and science, applying the facial lines that humans have in general in this country with an average appearance that is not prominent and certainly not at all striking.
With all that then this face is the most appropriate face to use for now, when he decided to stalk the head nurse from noon to now at night.
When determining Thomas's face as one of the face orders he asked Rasputin to make, Aaron of course had done a background check on the character he wanted to steal his identity in disguise. Thomas was chosen because in addition to the man is the head nurse who plays an important role in the care of Sera's father in this health facility. The man also lived alone in a mini apartment near the site of the health facility where Sera's father was being treated. Thomas's wife and two sons lived out of town with his in-laws, and Thomas visited them about once a month at the beginning of each month.
It was not yet mid-month, so Aaron had plenty of time to disguise himself as Thomas before the man did his regular activities to visit his family.
Aaron's eyes follow quietly the figure of Thomas who came out of the mini market where he bought instant food after his day shift today. Then, as Thomas walked down the deserted sidewalk with the shops that had closed on the right left of the road, Aaron moved up and followed within a safe and unsuspicious distance.
Because the night is late, there are not many vehicles and traffic on the streets, humans are almost non-existent. Only a few people were in and out of the mini market near the facility and one or two people who came across them on the sidewalk, the rest, were no more.
Aaron's eyes remained vigilant, watching and finding every CCTV camera installed, both private CCTV owned by the shop owners, and security CCTV placed by the government for public security surveillance.
He knows that both Xavier and Akram have advanced technology companies that are likely to be able to access all the security cameras in the country without exception, which is why he has to be very careful.
Aaron continued to follow in silence, his eyes looking for the sake of finding the blind spot, a place that was not caught by any CCTV that was safe enough to launch the action. Luckily his appearance as an average-faced middle-aged man seemed to be invisible to stand out and made it easy for him to walk around at night like this without suspicious, even when he was caught by CCTV cameras though.
They finally arrive at the apartment building that Thomas lives in.
This building is not worth calling an apartment. This building is a government-subsidized apartment for middle-class employees who need a decent place to live at a cheap price, there are no security facilities in the lobby because the class of this apartment is more like a flat that is polished to look more classy. Thomas could actually have had a better place to live with his salary as head nurse, but from Aaron's investigation, the man preferred to give most of his income to his wife's children outside the city and chose a simple residence for himself.
That certainly benefits Aaron. Without security in this place, Aaron was certainly free to follow Thomas to the second floor where the apartment room where he lived.
When the unconscious Thomas is followed by the door of his room and unlocks the door, Aaron appears behind Thomas.
“Goodnight.” Aaron greets on purpose, startling the man and making Thomas reflexively turn around to see the source of the sudden greeting sound.
At that moment, Aaron moved quickly, smothering Thomas' body before the man could fight back and gluing the handkerchief that had been moistened with chloroform fluid to seal Thomas's nose and mouth, and then sticking it out, forcing the poor man to breathe it in.
