"Well, I didn't think you were coming here either." Aaron poked a smile at the corner of his lips. "If only I knew, maybe we could go here together, wouldn't we?"

"Of course" Nathan replied to Oberon's stale remarks with the same formal friendly attitude. "Unfortunately, my decision to come here was quite sudden so I didn't plan for it" he continued.

Doctor Oberon nodded his head. The man seemed to understand Nathan's explanation, but seemed unconscious and did not leave immediately, instead he stepped closer to Nathan and his actions made him automatically also close to Xavier who was pushing Sera's wheelchair behind Nathan's body.

Nathan glanced towards Xavier's stiffened body as Oberon's doctor stepped closer to them and penetrated the security perimeter guarded in an invisible circle around Sera. Nathan knows that he Xavier is very unhappy when an unknown stranger approaches them, let alone approach Sera who along with her larger content the tighter the guard that surrounds her. But how else? Although for Xavier, Oberon's doctor was a stranger, but for Nathan it wasn't so. Doctor Oberon is his co-worker, he can't throw away people who don't know anything and can't be blamed.

"Is your business here finished?" With a misguided attitude, Nathan tries to make small talk and wants to end their interactions subtly. He knew that Oberon's doctor was a loner who usually preferred to avoid interaction with others. But for some reason, now Oberon's doctor comes to them first and starts a conversation that should not be done in this situation.

"Ah, not yet, I was talking to the director of this health facility regarding financial statements. After this I intend to go around to see the progress of the development of the construction project of a new additional building area behind which has almost reached eighty percent."  Aaron replied while taking the opportunity to steal a glance, his eyes glancing at Xavier who was putting on a blatant impatient expression. He chose to ignore it and his eyes then turned towards Sera who was sitting in a wheelchair.

Longs.

A hint of real sense instantly tore through Aaron's chest, making the corners of his lips twitch as he struggled with all his might to endure the painfully tightness that had ambushed in his chest. He knew that he had to put on an indecipherable flat expression under Xavier's gaze. He knew he couldn't make a gap. Xavier is a very careful enemy, if he finds a single point of discrepancy, it is certain that he will immediately suspect Aaron who is currently in the form of Oberon doctor.

"I understand. You are with the patient. Then I won't interfere. Please, I'll excuse you." Aaron turned his eyes away from Sera after nodding politely with the distance she had deliberately displayed. He also did the same to Xavier who was frowning looking at him, then waved his hand calmly towards Nathan to say goodbye.

Nathan nodded his head at Doctor Oberon. The man breathed a sigh of relief as Xavier chose to wait in silence and not make any drama that would trouble him. Nathan completely ignored Oberon's doctor who was away, then his eyes were fixed on Sera, focusing his attention there.

"You look good enough for a pregnant woman who's been traveling long distances in the car" she said, giving a gentle smile.

Sera chuckled slowly. "It was Xavier who wanted to prepare a helicopter, but he finally realized that riding a helicopter for a large pregnant woman was as dangerous as driving a car. So, cars are our choice." Sera's eyes sparkled as she uttered her candlestick, staring at Nathan's doctor, transmitting her cheerful and hopeful smile.

"Alright, it looks like you're ready." Nathan's doctor concluded quickly. Seeing how Sera's cherry this time, he really hoped that the woman's heart was strong and not swallowed by pain when he saw the condition of his father later. "I guess, we're going upstairs now?" he slowly asked as he glanced at Xavier for approval.

Xavier nodded his head. His hand moved squeezing the shoulder of Sera who was sitting in a wheelchair. When Sera looked up to look at him, Xavier looked down and looked at his wife softly.

"You ready?" The question was simple and short, but Xavier's gaze and tone of voice implied everything. The man was worried about her.

Sera let out a long sigh, then extended her hand towards Xavier. Without waiting for a pause, her husband immediately returned a helping hand, linking their fingers together as if he wanted to channel strength to her.

Sera closed her eyes, then back Sera herself took a deep breath before then exhaled slowly, trying to loosen her muscle tension, trying to neutralize her tightened nerves until it hurt, trying to relieve his chest that was crowded by anxiety full of anticipation.

Sera will meet her father again. He could see his father back. This is a time of happiness, not of sadness. He'll be strong. His heart must be strong.

Sera opened her eyes, looking at Xavier who was waiting patiently by her side.

"I'm ready." This time Sera's voice did not tremble, filled with a strong determination.

Xavier nodded his thin head, then gestured toward Nathan's doctor who understood immediately and directed them all towards the special elevator that had been waiting for.

Aaron's not really gone. The man chose to wait and watch from behind the shadow of a large pillar in the front area of the health facility lobby. His staring eyes were flooded with longing that seemed endless, overflowing and seemed to want to blow himself up.

Sera. Serafina Moon's. The woman he ignored in the past, banished and used but has secretly taken away his heart without him knowing it.

Aaron's eyes were glued to Sera's large bulging stomach and he couldn't help but grit his teeth. The baby was too big to kill and forced Aaron to wait and be patient until the time the baby was born.

Xavier fucking Light! Not only did she force Sera to conceive her baby, the man also planted twin seeds in Sera's stomach, making the woman carry two babies with her thin and weak body.

If anything happens to Sera because of that damn pregnancy, Aaron will never forgive Xavier.

Aaron's hands clenched tightly until his nails pressed against his palms and created a sharp, painful pain when he saw how Xavier pushed Sera's helpless wheelchair into the elevator and their bodies disappeared into the air the elevator goes up. Aaron tried to control himself, sighing deeply to extinguish the burning embers in his chest and put his rational mind back above everything else.

Patience. Waittime. Patience will bear sweet fruit. Sera will soon be his.

"I don't like it." Xavier spoke in a cold tone after they entered the elevator.

Nathan turned his head immediately, asking in confusion. "Who?"

"This doctor, your colleague," Xavier replied quickly.

"Why don't you like it? There's nothing wrong with his behavior, is there?" Nathan looked increasingly confused, voicing his question curiously.

Xavier frowned deeply. "He looked at my wife."

"Xavier," Sera swung her hand that was still in contact with Xavier's. Her expression looked reproachful even though the woman was unable to hide the fiery red hue on her cheek. "You can't hate someone just because he's staring at your wife" she advised.

Xavier tightened the braid of his finger with Sera and squeezed it gently. Her lips reviewed a seductive smile although stubbornness was still reflected in her stiff facial expression.

"I don't carelessly judge and hate people. Nathan looks at you often, but I don't hate Nathan because he looks at you, though I can't say I like Nathan." Xavier spoke in a calm voice and his words made Nathan grumble.

"Ah, yes. Thank you for making it clear that you don't like me." Nathan spoke later with a thick tone of sarcasm.

"But I don't hate you." Xavier refutes rigidly.

Nathan rolled his eyeballs. It's hard to understand how Xavier's brain works. He knew he wouldn't be able to, so he'd better take it.

"Yes yes. You don't hate me you don't like me either. So, my position is neutral and safe." Slowly Nathan looked at Xavier deeply, again voicing his unfinished curiosity. "Then, why did you so easily decide to hate Doctor Oberon?" ask again.

Xavier seemed to think, then quickly answered. "Because he was staring as if he wanted to have Sera."

Xavier appears to be offended by Doctor Nathan's cynical attitude. After all, he knew that his assessment might not be acceptable to ordinary logic, nor could it be explained in the usual way. To be sure, Xavier was very confident of the first impression he had in his brief interaction with Oberon's doctor.

"Insting," he answered briefly, making Nathan and Sera both look at him confused.

"What did you say?" doctor Nathan seemed unsure of Xavier's words, so the man repeated to ask.

"Speak, instinct." Xavier answered for sure. "I feel it. The instincts that let me know. There was another man who was after me and wanted mine" he growled in a threatening voice. "I want you to investigate Oberon's doctor, Nathan."

"What should I find out about that poor doctor? You clearly know that he's the director of finance at the hospital that Aaron owns most of his capital. He was truly a poor man who lost his dream due to the fatal accident that befell him two years ago. You should pity him, not make him an enemy, Xavier. Doctor Oberon is a loner man who has never interfered or been attracted to anyone else. I think you misjudged your opponent." Nathan replied with a long sentence that showed his disapproval, his eyes then glanced at Sera as if asking for help and Sera immediately understood.

"Xavier's." Sera again tries to attract Xavier's attention by shaking their hand. "I think you're overreacting. Don't you see my condition now? I was pale and disheveled, my belly was so big because it contained two healthy babies in my stomach, and my legs were swollen and not pretty. My appearance will not make other men want to have me plus the condition of my distended stomach shows that I am pregnant with the child of the man who owns me. No man crazy enough in this world would want me in my present condition." Sera gave an explanation in a soothing soft voice, adding a sweet smile to ease Xavier's ready-to-explode rage.

What he did was successful, Xavier immediately bowed in front of Sera's wheelchair, one of his hands resting on Sera's wheelchair arm and his face approaching towards the woman, using the tip of his index finger to touch Sera's chin gently and raise her up.

"You're beautiful. Your whole self. With your distended stomach, with your swollen legs, even with your pale face and messy hair," Xavier chuckled softly when he saw Sera's mouth slightly frowned at his words. "I don't care about any of that. You're gorgeous. Point." Xavier couldn't help but hold back, the man opened his mouth, drew closer to Sera's raunchy lips, ready to take a sip of the mouth's tenderness and sweetness in the gulp of her mouth.

A deliberate coughing sound was loudly chastened suddenly rang out behind them, making Xavier stop his movements instantly.

The man straightened his back and deliberately positioned his body in a protective manner in front of Sera to cover Sera who was bowing her head with a red face extinguished from embarrassment in her wheelchair, then turned around and looked directly at Doctor Nathan in a reproachful manner.

Unfortunately, it had no effect on Nathan's doctor, the man simply shrugged his shoulders guiltlessly.

"Thank God you remember to stop." Doctor Nathan grumbled a little half-temptingly. "I don't think you guys forgot I was in this elevator, did you?" he asked then in a mocking tone and before Xavier could open his mouth to refute, suddenly a clanking elevator echoed within this room, indicates that the elevator they are riding has reached the destination floor.

The atmosphere instantly changed, there was tension tucked in there, making any conversation as if it had been instantly stopped forcibly.

Once again Nathan's doctor cleared his throat as if to dispel the tension that surrounded him, then he took the lead moving out of the elevator, followed by Xavier who pushed Sera's wheelchair slowly following.

"Your father's room is at the end of this hall." Nathan's doctor said slowly as he moved ahead of them.

"Your father got the best treatment." Xavier spoke slowly as they reached the tightly shut door before them. "Trust me, he gets the best treatment that this health facility can provide."

Sera swallowed his saliva. He had already prepared his heart, but somehow when he got so close, suddenly a sense of tension began to overwhelm his body and soul again. His heart was pounding uncontrollably, while his blood flow was hardening, as if boiling the pulse path he passed. Sera began to feel suffocated, she opened her mouth to sigh deeply, and it did not escape Xavier's sight.

The man knelt on the side of Sera's wheelchair, clasping his hands firmly.

"I know, it must have been amazing. After all these years, you can finally meet your father again. Just think happy, promise me you won't faint from the emotional overflow, okay?" Back Xavier voiced his anxiety, looking at Sera deeply to be sure again.

"okay." Sera answered slowly, reassuring herself.

"All right then." Xavier got up from his kneeling position and positioned himself back behind Sera to push his wheelchair. His eyes again gestured toward Nathan and Nathan's doctor moved to open the door.
