SURRENDERED

Nindy repeatedly stared at the screen of her phone which was still silent since earlier, she was waiting for the phone to ring and hoped that the person she was waiting for contacted her. Since morning, he kept asking Ardi when Rafael would come home and for the umpteenth time Ardi gave the same answer :

'I don't know ma'am, Rafael sir didn't say anything about his return to me'.

Wanting to feel Nindy gave a raw bogem to her assistant, already knew if she was waiting for her husband's return but why did not take the initiative to contact her young master to ask when he would come home. Nindy took a breath and threw it away slowly, she should be able to hold back because she still desperately needed Ardi's help to finish all her tasks.

After a long wait, Nindy's phone finally shook a sign of a message coming in. Nindy immediately grabbed her phone and was immediately shocked when she saw the incoming message from Haikal. He was so shocked when he realized that he had forgotten his girlfriend for a few days. Nindy is too focused on her work and also her problem with Rafael so she forgets Haikal who has not met for a few days.

Nindy read the message Haikal sent, it turned out that the message contained a call to meet. Haikal asks Nindy to meet him at one of the cafes near his apartment and Nindy agrees to the invitation.

"I also have to talk to Haikal. This matter I can't let continue to drag on like this".

"I hope this is the best decision".

Nindy put her phone back down with a long sigh, the decision had indeed been taken even though Nindy was still a little doubt whether this was the best decision.

The spearhead of all these problems was actually in Nindy, so he was the one who had to make the decision to settle the dispute. Rafael and Haikal can only try to convince Nindy, but all decisions remain in his hands.

Who would Nindy choose her husband or her lover!

It had been three days that Rafael had gone out of town to finish his job. In addition to business, his departure out of town was also on the advice of his cousin, Dr. Yulia. Rafael wants to follow the advice given by his cousin that is to give time to Nindy himself so that he can think calmly so as to make a choice.

And after three days had passed, Rafael decided to return to the capital and his main goal was to meet his wife. According to him, three days would have been enough for Nindy to think and now his wife must have had an answer. At this time Rafael wants to meet with his wife because he must immediately solve the problem between them. Rafael did not want to delay his delay any longer and let the matter continue to drag on without a definite solution.

Rafael must speak directly to Nindy and ask for his decision, he must immediately know whether the wife is still giving a second chance for him or the opportunity is no longer there for him.

Rafael directed his car towards the apartment owned by his wife and his arrival was immediately welcomed by two bodyguards who were guarding there.

"Good afternoon sir!" Greet a bodyguard as Rafael gets out of his car.

"Sore! Miss Nindy's in place?" Ask Rafael.

"Bu Nindy is not in the place of the pack" replied the bodyguard.

"My wife isn't in her apartment?" Rafael repeated his question.

"Yes, sir, Nindy was back in the apartment, but then Nindy left again".

"Where is he?" Ask Rafael.

"Are there any bodyguards watching him" Rafael looked worried.

'A man'! Rafael can immediately guess who the man was meant by his bodyguard earlier, who else the man was if not Haikal.

"All right, thank you. You keep your eyes on this place" said Rafael who immediately got a nod from his guards.

Rafael got back into the car and rushed to the cafe mentioned by his bodyguard earlier. Rafael felt this was the right time for them to talk, he wanted to talk directly with his wife and also his wife's lover.

Rafael got out of the car and handed the key to one of the security guards to park, he did not have time to park his car again because he was very hurried. Rafael circulates his gaze throughout the cafe in search of his wife's whereabouts and Rafael's footsteps come to a halt as he catches the figure of a woman who appears to be talking seriously to a man.

"You're here?" Lirih Rafael slowly.

For the umpteenth time, Rafael must see firsthand the interaction of the wife with her boyfriend. Isn't this not true! How could they possibly survive in such a complicated relationship. If Nindy still can't make her choice then one of them must give in.

After establishing his heart, Rafael again swung his footsteps to meet a couple who were involved in serious talks but his footsteps stopped again when he saw Haikal hugging Nindy with affection. His heart was so broken when he found out the wife he wanted to meet seemed to make out with his lover.

Rafael was glued in place, his legs unable to continue his steps again when he heard the words coming out of the lovers mouth.

'I love you'

'Yes, I know'

As the lightning bolt struck in broad daylight, Rafael felt his heart explode as if it were very strong from the lightning strike. A statement of love that makes it seem slapped and makes him realize that his position does not matter anymore.

"Is this the answer to all of the problems that are going on between us?".

"Have you made your choice?"

"Sssss,,,,! Turns out I wasn't your choice".

Rafael sizzled softly, his heart so sore as he learned all these realities. Actually Rafael had suspected that Nindy might choose Haikal, but even so why now it feels much more painful than what he imagined.

Previously Rafael had been determined to accept whatever decision Nindy would give him, but now the reality is different. It turns out that he was unable to accept that fact.

It hurts! His heart felt so painful.

Injured! For sure.

The dream to knit her marriage back has now been dashed, and Rafael must be able to berlapang heart to accept his defeat. Now he must admit that it was Haikallah who had won the heart of his wife and he had to accept it.

"Is this the end of our relationship? Should I give up and let go of you being happy with her?".

Rafael turned around, he did not want Nindy or Haikal to know his whereabouts. One hand raised to suck the wet corner of the eye, she wept over the fate of her marriage which had to end tragically. The marriage which he began with a lie and a falsehood must now come to an end. The end!

And finally, Rafael decided to surrender and decided to release Nindy with haikal. Although his heart ached, but he tried to stay strong and breastplate let the woman he loved happy with other men. There is nothing to blame because mistakes start with themselves. There is nothing to regret anymore because he has deeply regretted his previous actions. Nindy deserves to be happy even though she is not with him and Rafael must also be happy for his wife even though the happiness of the wife is above her heartache.
